It was actually Mark Prior. Urias had struggled with his command. Prior realized Julio would drop his shoulder during his windup. He made Julio start pitching from the stretch all the time.
Urias just blossomed before our eyes. H will nail down a starting spot in the rotation next season and he and Buehler will become a devastating lefty/Righty 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation. Still have 3 or 4 more solid to very good years left in Kershaw, and The Dodgers are going back to back.
@@dylanwatt7461 I know the odds usually say no as it’s hard to even get to the work series but this team is stacked and now they have plenty Of experience. They will win another really soon.
I was pleasantly surprised when he didn't pull Urias for doing so well. Roberts tends to pull a Cash. I guess after failing to win the WS year after year, eventually they all learn.
@@mynameisabe905 yea he brought that up during the post game interview. Learned from his mistakes. But I mean sometimes the stats do not lie ie Kershaw was throwing a gem in the 2017 WS and Roberts decided to leave kershaw in for the 7th despite his stats saying he starts having trouble there. Lo and behold, he fell apart that inning... could go either way honestly
@@andrewgarcia7405 Yea I remember that but that game, Roberts let Kershaw manage the game and that's why we lost that. Kersh was really stubborn about staying in despite giving up a few hits and being in a tough spot. Not only did stats show that but the game was showing that. Roberts has gotten so much better with trusting his aces while managing the game and not overmanaging. A few times I thought he was overmanaging but generally, it was spot on. His decisions in the Braves series was especially impressive and also the World Series minus Game 4.

A day later, tears of joy finally flowing. It hit me, it's real. THE DODGERS ARE FINALLY THE WORLD CHAMPS! Crazy how a kid's game can make a grown man cry.
Yes...very true. We think of the comraderie and the connection of the players working together as a unit, all towards a common goal. To be the best at what they do. And when you get to the top of the figurative mountain? You can shout out “we are the best”... And absolutely yes, tears of joy and triumph will flow...as they did when the last out was recorded, and when we relive this glorious moment...
To all the Dodgers haters out there just think of this, Dodgers won where MLB stopped allowing teams to watch live footage in dugout, thats huge, makes it even harder to win games. They won where MLB cracked down on cheating, trying to minimize it. No fans, no games at Dodger stadium where Dodgers rule. Getting tested every day for covid with non stop safety measures. You had to win the wild card series which can go either way for any good team. You had to win 13 games instead of 11. Dodgers won one of the hardest championships that any team can ever win.
Down 3-1 vs the Braves and came back to win it. Faced a formidable pitching staff in the Rays, anyone ANYONE trying to diminish this accomplishment is a fool.
@@all_time_Jelly_Fish It was nice to see him have faith in Urias, gotta go with your horse, and he studded out. Those last 3 pitches had both movement and velocity.

no reason for suspicion so why suspicious? Why an asterisk? It was a weird postseason but the Dodgers had to EARN IT as much (if not MORE) than any other team in baseball history. They had to win 13 games in the postseason as apposed to 11 like usual. Then they didn't get home field advantage which they earned. No team has ever had to do those things.

I have been fallowing Dodgers baseball when there was no television in my country, it was on armforces radio on short wave. This World Series win was a special one. Looking forward to dominate and win a couple more in the near future.
It was actually Mark Prior. Urias had struggled with his command. Prior realized Julio would drop his shoulder during his windup. He made Julio start pitching from the stretch all the time.
@@davidakierman2748 where are you from?
I from a small English speaking country in Central America. Belize.
1/6 chance the dodgers win it next year realistically LOL not like any team is better but still long odds.
@@dylanwatt7461 ill be back when we win
@@dylanwatt7461 I know the odds usually say no as it’s hard to even get to the work series but this team is stacked and now they have plenty
Of experience. They will win another really soon.
@@dylanwatt7461 1/6 is actually insanely good odds to win a championship what do you mean?

Roberts deserved “Most Improved Coach” for finally not putting in Jansen.
For real
I was pleasantly surprised when he didn't pull Urias for doing so well. Roberts tends to pull a Cash. I guess after failing to win the WS year after year, eventually they all learn.
He learned his Lesson
Urias, as a child, you didn't allow being bullied to stop you from pitching throughout your life! You're the only Dodger who Thank God for your accomplishments & winning The 2020 W.S.🇲🇽⚾🎉🎈✨🎇🏆🥇
What a year , what a season, what a team.

Dude Urias pounded that freakin zone like... well, like something you freakin pound... 😏 hahaha. I’m still so stoked for this title. Amazing feeling!
I’ll never get tired of this.
I won't get tired of this either.
Congrats Dodgers!! Congrats Urías!! Viva México 🇲🇽!! 🥳 🎉
Viva México señores
A day later, tears of joy finally flowing. It hit me, it's real. THE DODGERS ARE FINALLY THE WORLD CHAMPS! Crazy how a kid's game can make a grown man cry.
Yes...very true. We think of the comraderie and the connection of the players working together as a unit, all towards a common goal. To be the best at what they do. And when you get to the top of the figurative mountain? You can shout out “we are the best”...
And absolutely yes, tears of joy and triumph will flow...as they did when the last out was recorded, and when we relive this glorious moment...
Omg ! I cried tears of joy !! Congratulations to my Boys In Blue !! Champion LA Dodgers !!!! You guys sooooo deserved it !!!
With a payroll that damn large u better win the damn championship
In the largest ballbark in the MLB as well
@Gerald Buncum *farm system
Well said but what about being 3-1 that was tough
Down 3-1 vs the Braves and came back to win it. Faced a formidable pitching staff in the Rays, anyone ANYONE trying to diminish this accomplishment is a fool.
My heart was racing usually it does when Roberts throws Jansen in the 9th
for once it was the other manager over managing!
@@all_time_Jelly_Fish It was nice to see him have faith in Urias, gotta go with your horse, and he studded out. Those last 3 pitches had both movement and velocity.
@@all_time_Jelly_Fish fr he pulled a Dave roberts 😂
Even though it would have been impossible 😂 I half expected Baez to come to the mound and the other half would be Jensen 😂 it’s sad that I was relieved that the ‘closer’ didn’t come out

@Julian R I'm just glad that there was a season and a champion
@Julian R That’s because your team didn’t win Julian
The cheaters are the mlb league.
no reason for suspicion so why suspicious? Why an asterisk? It was a weird postseason but the Dodgers had to EARN IT as much (if not MORE) than any other team in baseball history. They had to win 13 games in the postseason as apposed to 11 like usual. Then they didn't get home field advantage which they earned. No team has ever had to do those things.
Urias is a beast

Snell still can't believe they pulled him out of the game with 73 pitches and stellar performance.
Cash pulled a Dave Roberts 😂

My heart is so full of joy right now. Watching this amazing team for the past 5 - 6 years has been an emotional journey. I fell in love with them, I was amazed by them, and oh, how I have grieved for them. They have really been through it. And it's obvious that they have learned from those difficult times. Being able to see them play a team that is definitely not cheating has been so wonderful. God bless every one of my Dodgers and their families, especially Clayton Kershaw and his Ellen and 3 beautiful kids. So wonderful to see him set free from the hateful words of people when they didn't know about the Astros cheating. Also God bless our dear, sweet, lovable and awesome JT and his family. Praying for a complete recovery as soon as possible.
