I think you should update this video. It's nearly impossible to get commercial general liability insurance on it's own these days. You have to bundle with other products just to get it, even then, only a couple insurance companies off insurance for this industry. Insurance is the main road block in this business, PERIOD!
Any recommendations for insurance for a 1099/IC just starting with one of the on demand apps? I just got a quote for $10k per yr for basic liability, and I feel its because they dont understand I am NOT towing. They have roadside assist and towing on the same check box.

Some of these costs are ridiculous! The average Joe can’t even compete. A lot of guys work on the DL. They provide basic services. 🤷🏼♀️

It’s about the risk. The volume of claims that gets put in its crazy
