We had another discussion below, but took your advice and bought one of these because it's a lot of function for the price. You're 100% right. Like you, I have more interfaces than I need, but I think this is a no brainer. Thanks again!!
Update, I couldn't get Bluetooth phone calls to work well at consistently good volume going to caller, and the entire interface would lock up so badly that I had to bounce the power to get it back. I returned it. Had the latest firmware, which at the time I thought was free of such issues.
19:29 Back when I was on the original RODECaster Pro I asked the same thing about the looped audio on the pads. I don't know if it was ever fixed. This goes back to a service request added on November 6, 2020. My response from RODE was: "Thank you for your reply! We will definitely look into this and recommend keeping an eye on social channels for any possible updates." This was one of the reasons I went to the GoXLR. Kind of sad to hear it hasn't been fixed.
I have a goxlr mini and have been thinking of upgradiing. ive watched several videos in the last 2 days about the differences between the rodecaster pro and the pro II - this is by far the most concise overview of the pro II feature set and summary. really amazing work with this video. thank you!
I would love to see a firmware update with a LIMITER on the master channel. Kinda like in Audition's or Premiere Pro's "Dynamic" effect ... set it to -6db and be sure it never goes higher than that.
Awesome video, Mike. Although quality of the audio through rodecaster is below average comparing to your rich, deep, into-the-ears warm sound through your usual set up. So don’t disregard that too soon. Cheers!!
For customization, It’d be interesting as well to be able to change the name and icon of each input (our own icons) and still have in the input settings a reminder that it corresponds to the physical input it was originally named after… Also I think they should made the RODE Central app compatible with Linux. Cheers mate, amazing video!
Wow, fantastic video recommendation for the Rodecaster Pro II, almost made me reach for the buy button online immediately. 🙂 The best thing with this video is that it gives some real pointers on what a pro creator uses to create the content they put out. The fact the Rode can replace nearly 99% of what you use today is a phenominal endorsement. I'm a complete newbie so still learning, but the flexibility and ease of use that you demonstrate in this video has literally blown me away. Did Rode come up with any of your suggestions in a firmware update since you made this video? Thanks again for such a great video.
You're very much correct, Mike. This piece of a device, called Rodecaster Pro II, is compact, yet it is a fully integrated audio solution. Good job man, for this wonderful comparison.
Hi Mike, great video as always! I agree with you about the RCP 2...great unit with some room for growth. One note. I heard the latency in my headphones just as you did, initially. Now that I've updated the fw to the official 1.0.7 release I am not hearing it. Either I've gotten used to it and am not noticing it now or they fixed it. Thanks again Mike!

Faders are re-assignable in RCP 2. Do you always use ***8 faders*** simultaneously, that you must adjust in real time ? RCP 2 has 3 virtual faders. So 9 total faders (at this time) "certainly have updated capabilities" : yes, you can tell it like that :) The list of improvements and differences is really impressive (and in constant evolution)

Awesome video Mike. I too have a mixer, mic processors, multiple audio inputs etc and a multitude of cables in my home Internet Radio setup and will be looking at getting the RPC2 to replace them all. The mixer cover is a smart move as one of my bugbears is forever dusting out the mixer's channels and buttons and I have a Decksaver cover on my Pioneer DDJ2 controller which has kept it looking clean like new from day one. Fantastic review! I just got the RODECaster Pro 1 and I love it. But this RODECaster 2 is definitely one hell of an upgrade! Not sure if I really need to upgrade at the moment, but This is an amazing unit! 👍🏾
Mike … love your content. I use first generation RCP for in-studio interviews with non-broadcast folks. I’m concerned that latency in RCP 2 will be an issue with guests. RCP 1 does not have this issue.
well.... I think I need this. I only use a mic and an old focusrite to record songs. Then started podcasting... this made that way easier. I gotta try this
Awesome love it, another great video, thank you. Would love to see some follow up videos how you dial in the sound and all the processing. I’m sure many of your subs would get a tremendous value seeing your process and set up . Perhaps could be another product idea… Mike Russell RCP2 presets 🤔
I've just decided to take the plunge and chuck out a D&R Airlite and DBX 286s amongst other stuff. The Airlite's built in interfaces have been cracking like mad too with random clicks and pops on the audio. So I've ended up putting analogue interfaces back in. And then they play up. Anyway, it's all going for a Rodecaster Pro II so to see you've done exactly the same thing seriously reassures me!
Toyed with buying one of these purely from reading reviews first, which I usually do. After watching this though, no brainer. I do a bit of everything from digital music production with various DAWs and Audio/Video packages (Adobe, Soundforge etc) to Techno mixing/DJ'ing (both old skool turntables and DJ controllers with spinning platters of course cos i'm old) and I simply love anything audio and video. I have the H5n you have as well as the H6n and a Roland. Same with mainly action cams too. I do really need a recommendation for a DSLR for a stationary setup (no, not pencils and paper) ;) Sadly, you won't find much of anything on my channel as I worry about the whole "12 years ago Jamie said this at the time, perfectly acceptable in context word, so now he must ne retroactively punished for it" although as the digits flip on my age counter I start to worry less and less about this due to career as some of the content I do produce can cover issues of privacy etc. Basically, love audio, video and music creation but hate the fact it can and is used as a stick to beat people with now, let alone the coming future. I just found your channel today. You got a new sub and made my bank balance take a multi hundred £ hit so cheers for that. In a way you also screwed yourself over because I don't have any money left to give you and pay the soon to be astronomical heating/food bills. Just good i'm one of those fussy eaters who, in human terms would probably be classed more like a mouse, nibbling at snacks when I find them (5 second rule). Keep it up though. I like your style. There's probably hundreds or thousands of comments on this so I have probably wasted 10 minutes thinking about all this crap. It would have been easier to make a video with my
MIke.....I thought you'd be interested in my experience thus far with the RCP2. I purchased my first unit about 2 weeks ago and have had to return because the larger 'volume knob' is not operating. It's clearly off it's track and will hardly turn. The second unit I purchased arrived with several issues in assembly. First, the touch screen monitor wasn't properly seeded in its housing. I carefully centered it and pressed on it and it seems to be back in place. A second issue was the metal behind the faders rubbing on the faders when they were adjusted. Again, after pressing down on the entire plate in several places, it seems to have snapped back into position. The build quality on the RCP2 units is inferior to that of the RCP1 in my opinion. I love the new features but this thing feels like it will break if you sneeze at it the wrong way. As I told Rode in my email, I would gladly pay another $100-$200 USD for a "Pro" unit. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Also, please pass along to Rode if you have their ear.
@@MikeRussell Also I would like to add that I completely agree with all of your feature requests. I hadn't even tried looping audio on the smartpads yet, so that's good to know. I know you probably didn't want to get into it in the video itself, but may I ask what firmware version you were running when you recorded this? I just pulled down 1.0.7 beta firmware just the other day, but haven't had a chance to really test through it yet due to schedule. So anyway, just curious.
I heard the unit has enough power with a such low noise that you don't need to use lifters like CL-1 and DM1. For people who use SHURE SM7B's and other low gain mics will save a lot of money on that as well. Rode really stepped up with this one IMHO.
Great review. I would like to see submixes as streamer too. But the best and outstanding thing is, you can connect two PC wie usb and tata solved the problem with sound from streaming to gaming an back. If it had a EQ for the headphone that would be grate too.
Hey Mike. Great video - as always 😊 One question. Would you juse it as a broadcast-mixer for radio? Can't find any information anywhere, that gives an answar on pfl/cue on the channels? Cheers!
Thanks for the complete review ! I was looking into it to have an home studio music recording and maybe use it to do live streaming. I was looking on the price at first and I wasn't because it was only for a home solution and not a pro studio. But I'm sure that this is 100% worth the price with all those features ! Thanks again :D
The Video is informative and well presented. The Audio in this presentation is it directly recorded from RodeCaster Pro and uploaded? The volume is very good with the punch in the voice profound. If you have used further processing after the Audio output from Rodecaster, can you kindly share it with the viewers? Thanks
Thanks for your quick response and you have inspired me to know more on the subject. I have Rodecaster Duo which is identical to RODECaster ProII as you know and I experimenting recording on Mac Mini 2. I am not getting the level of volume as in your presentation. Can you kindly share as to how to reach the same Audio level as in your RUclips presentation? I record using Audacity (some times on Audition). Your guidance will help me a lot. Thank you!@@MikeRussell
Hi Mike, Love your videos! Question for you... is it possible to add extra microphone inputs via a daisy chain or connecting another Rodecaster II? Occasionally I do a live event where we need 4 mics for the guests but a separate mic for either a host or walking around taking Q&A questions from an audience. We don't have a big mixing board so I've been using the original rodecaster to record and live mix.
What is the round trip latency in this interface? I'm considering getting one but I'd like to use it for electric guitars as well, using Amplitube (or similar) in real time. Would the performance be comparable to audio interfaces like the Focusrite ones?
It seems like it just needs a Direct Monitor button to allow the unprocessed signal through to your headphones, but the processed signal for everyone else.
Having had the mixer, do you think that the number of inputs is a limitation of the rodecaster pro 2? I have a Clarett 8 pre usb but unsure if it is wise to sell it as I would be limited to two stereo pairs in on the RodeCaster. Your opinion would be very much appreciated.
It totally depends on your usage, it's certainly not suitable for all uses due to it's limited inputs but that's not what it was primarily designed for.
Latency will always sadly exist with digital products. Right now I’m rocking the Mackie DLZ but thinking of switching to the Duo as I don’t use so many faders these days!
@@MikeRussell thanks for sharing! I must say these devices pack a ton of practical features into one device. (still paul - just posted from my other account)
Good morning, I heard there have been some updates to the rode caster pro 2 Have the problems highlighted in the videos been corrected? If yes, which ones ? Which ones still need to be corrected? Hoping the rodecaster continues to get updates. Good day
I'm not sure I want to put all my eggs in one basket. Yes, it's cheaper to buy it than buy each process units, if there's a problem, the whole unit has to be sent back to get fixed.
I'm sorry, I forgot to ask you where's the dedicated play button. Hope I wouldn't have to go in the menu screen. Or would I be able to assign one of the side buttons as a play button? Thanks again for your help.
I just bought this and connected it up yesterday, and yes I'm amazed at what it can replace and it sounds GREAT! The features are amazing but just watching some other RUclips streamers who stream and react to videos who don't wear headphones has left me a little perplexed, how do they do that with no feedback? Because the feature on the rodecastwr is when mic is engaged on the speakers turn off (which is a great feature) but I am wondering how to accomplish using a off camera mic and still be able to hear some sort of audio without bulky headphones on the stream
If you're having guests then you'll need headphones to monitor, if you're streaming solo then it's a personal choice whether to monitor or not once you've set the levels although personally, I'd only feel comfortable if I was monitoring.
@@MikeRussell yes there's no guests with me in the same room, think of me playing a video and reacting to it to break it down, I still need to hear some audio from that video and when I want to make a point I'll need to pause that video and speak, I cannot seem to find how to get the speakers working still
You’ve convinced me to go out and pick one of these up for myself! Can’t wait to get it all set up! The possibilities with this thing keep coming and I’m excited to absolutely evolve my sound with it!
Great review, is it possible to use RCP2 like a real mixer connected to Power amplifier speaker , I'm asking this because I don't see XLR output and I'm not sure output via TRS jack are good for no noise?
@MikeRussell sounds like a really cool device. I would really love to test it out, but unfortunately, I don’t think I would be able to use it, since there seems to be lots of options and stuff you have to select, and for me that wouldn’t be very accessible. So for the time being, I would just have to stay with my analog equipment, which has knobs and stuff which I can actually turn and buttons I can actually feel. Plus, it is out of my budget range, and I’m not sure if you have to see the screen in order to select different options.
What kind of USB C are you using? I can only find ones from like 1 or 2 meters but both my computers are pretty far way from each other. I'd love to have 5 meter or longer USB C cable but I don't think those cables will have the same speed as the 1 / 2 meter ones.
Now 6 months later, are you still happy with the RCP2? I have dbx286s, scarlett 18i20 and cloudlifter too. and the old RCP1. Now I am hesitating whether I should sell everything and buy the new RCPII. Is the sound of the RCPII really as good as the scarlett and dbx together? I use as Microphones SM7B, NTG5 and some cheaper ones.
I'm going to be making some video updates on my setup in the future so watch this space. I am still very much using the RCPII on a daily basis and loving it.
@@MikeRussell In your future video, please also take into consideration, that many subscribers are not planning yet to do podcasts or livestreams, but have "normal" youtube channels for which they want to have the best audioquality available for a budget i.e. of 1500 USD and are looking as their main priority for a solution for this. The fact that you can do additionnally podcasts/livestreams is more a sideeffect for them, but not mandatory.. Worst case they would just add a RCP1 or 2 later on top of that, but stick with other equipment for the better audio for their normal youtube recordings.
I agree with the overly large lighted smart pads that can't be customized. If Elgato can do this using a fraction of the space, then Rode surely can do this as well.
A reason for the larger pads is so musicians can trigger easily without miss hitting. This one is more for several different professions so i think its a good call to keep that pads at your normal size
Sorry Russell if my last question was not as clear. What I was asking, I"m curious what you when you said "EQ Strip," and what you had titled “Master Channel EQ?” Just curious what you meant by that, since they already have a 3 band EQ. Is that not good enough, or you were asking for something different? Can you expound on this? Thanks for your quick replies! 😎

What a wonderful piece of kit. Amazing just how many features are packed into this unit at only $700. Very nice, thorough review. Thanks for the video!!
👍
No podía estar mejor explicado. Gracias, Mike.
🙏
😍Thank you very much Mike for this great comparison test video and ultra-complete demonstration of the RØDECaster Pro II against your analog equipment at the Top!!!
👻Thank you for including your professional impressions, your neutral and true opinion on all your analog units and your nice ideas suggested to RØDE for future updates of the RØDECaster Pro II
I did well to wait for the L.A. Namm in early June - thinking that RØDE was probably going to release a new version 2!
👍BING Spot on - I'm as happy as you Mike to have it with me - But I was also eager to see your detailed Professional press review on the RØDECaster Pro II
🙏Thanks again Mike and have a great summer vacation to rest your ears LOL!!
🎤The RØDECaster Pro II, a superb product almost revolutionary in the production of online radio show music podcasts all portable in so little space for a sound quality Never heard !!! Kudos to the engineers and developers at RØDE
🚀EXCEPTIONAL YES 🚀
(Franck From French Riviera) 😍👌🌈🎹🎶
Thanks for your kind words Franck 🙏
Fantastic review! I just got the RODECaster Pro 1 and I love it. But this RODECaster 2 is definitely one hell of an upgrade! Not sure if I really need to upgrade at the moment, but This is an amazing unit! 👍🏾
Both are tremendous bits of kit 👍
Thanks for this outstanding work Mike, will it kill the feed to studio monitors as mics are opened?
This can be set in the options
I am so happy I came across your video. You got a dedicated subscriber. I am buying this next week. I do animation and need this for my future channel
Thanks for the sub 👍
you have a fantastic radio voice.
thanks for doing this :)
you seem like a good lad!
Thank you
Mike … love your content. I use first generation RCP for in-studio interviews with non-broadcast folks. I’m concerned that latency in RCP 2 will be an issue with guests. RCP 1 does not have this issue.
Thanks for the detailed review! You are the best!
Thank you
Am really amazed by your channel ❤
Thanks
well.... I think I need this. I only use a mic and an old focusrite to record songs. Then started podcasting... this made that way easier. I gotta try this
👍
Great video thank you so much 👍🏻💯🎤💻🎶🎧🎙️🎵🖥️⌨️📻🎧📀
Thank you so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! 🎧🎤🎶
Awesome love it, another great video, thank you.
Would love to see some follow up videos how you dial in the sound and all the processing. I’m sure many of your subs would get a tremendous value seeing your process and set up .
Perhaps could be another product idea… Mike Russell RCP2 presets 🤔
Thanks Russell
I've just decided to take the plunge and chuck out a D&R Airlite and DBX 286s amongst other stuff. The Airlite's built in interfaces have been cracking like mad too with random clicks and pops on the audio. So I've ended up putting analogue interfaces back in. And then they play up.
Anyway, it's all going for a Rodecaster Pro II so to see you've done exactly the same thing seriously reassures me!
👍
Toyed with buying one of these purely from reading reviews first, which I usually do. After watching this though, no brainer.
I do a bit of everything from digital music production with various DAWs and Audio/Video packages (Adobe, Soundforge etc) to Techno mixing/DJ'ing (both old skool turntables and DJ controllers with spinning platters of course cos i'm old) and I simply love anything audio and video. I have the H5n you have as well as the H6n and a Roland. Same with mainly action cams too. I do really need a recommendation for a DSLR for a stationary setup (no, not pencils and paper) ;)
Sadly, you won't find much of anything on my channel as I worry about the whole "12 years ago Jamie said this at the time, perfectly acceptable in context word, so now he must ne retroactively punished for it" although as the digits flip on my age counter I start to worry less and less about this due to career as some of the content I do produce can cover issues of privacy etc.
Awsome video,Mike!! This is what I was looking for...Many thanks!
👌
Great video and review Mike.
Thx 👍👌
🙏
This really was a great, insightful, helpful video
Thanks
Great video mic! I'm thinking of upgrading my RCP 1 now. what was the music bed you played on loop at around 09:55 minutes?
Thanks Dan! That's our MRC Gaia jingle music bed 😉 musicradiocreative.com/products/mrc-gaia
I love my RCP2 - it really is brilliant.
👍
@@MikeRussell Also I would like to add that I completely agree with all of your feature requests. I hadn't even tried looping audio on the smartpads yet, so that's good to know. I know you probably didn't want to get into it in the video itself, but may I ask what firmware version you were running when you recorded this? I just pulled down 1.0.7 beta firmware just the other day, but haven't had a chance to really test through it yet due to schedule. So anyway, just curious.
This was the recorded when the desk was freshly released with the release firmware
@@MikeRussell Gotcha. I tested it and it still happens with the 1.0.7 firmware, and i've submitted a bug report to Rode about it.
I heard the unit has enough power with a such low noise that you don't need to use lifters like CL-1 and DM1. For people who use SHURE SM7B's and other low gain mics will save a lot of money on that as well. Rode really stepped up with this one IMHO.
👍
May I ask you Mr. Russel to explain, how do you avoid mouth noise? I tryed everything. :/ Your voice is always so clear.
Some suggest that eating an apple can reduce mouth noise 😀
Awesome review!
Thanks
Exactly the info I was looking for.
Glad to have helped
Great review. I would like to see submixes as streamer too. But the best and outstanding thing is, you can connect two PC wie usb and tata solved the problem with sound from streaming to gaming an back. If it had a EQ for the headphone that would be grate too.
Thank you so much! It works really well!
Hey Mike.
Great video - as always 😊
One question.
Would you juse it as a broadcast-mixer for radio? Can't find any information anywhere, that gives an answar on pfl/cue on the channels?
Cheers!
The Rodecaster Pro can do PFL and I'm aware there are people using the RCP1 and probably RCP2 as a broadcast mixer
@@MikeRussell Well then 😁 Take my money RØDE ...
Wish you and Isabella a great summer - keep cool over there!
Thanks Martin
I like the saving the planet move with the rodecaster 🤣
👍
@Mike Russell, I don't need a end colloring of the sound, because there is endprocessing/coloring
Your only limitation is the number of line inputs being limited to 1 but if you're not using more than 1 then it's an ideal solution for you.
@@MikeRussell What do you mean by line inputs limited by 1? Can't you not use all 4 line inputs at the same time?
The Video is informative and well presented. The Audio in this presentation is it directly recorded from RodeCaster Pro and uploaded? The volume is very good with the punch in the voice profound. If you have used further processing after the Audio output from Rodecaster, can you kindly share it with the viewers?
Thanks
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, the audio in the presentation is directly recorded from the RODECaster Pro II.
Outstanding details here thanks for your initial review! That
Red in-shot light is killer. Which lamp or light is that? Keep up the great work!
Thank you
@@MikeRussell any ordering info on that red light/lamp?
Hi Mike, Love your videos! Question for you... is it possible to add extra microphone inputs via a daisy chain or connecting another Rodecaster II? Occasionally I do a live event where we need 4 mics for the guests but a separate mic for either a host or walking around taking Q&A questions from an audience. We don't have a big mixing board so I've been using the original rodecaster to record and live mix.
Ideally you'd want a mixer with sufficient mic channels
Hi Mike great info thanks, good to hear you like the PCP2. Could I ask what 'Camera and lense' you are using? The quality is terrific! Many thanks!!
Thanks! I'm using a Sony Alpha a6400 with a Sigma 16 mm F1.4 lens.
@@MikeRussell Thanks Mike, that's brilliant really appreciate it, going to order that lense right now..keep up the great work!!
very good review, makes me wanna buy the product right away.
🙏
What is the round trip latency in this interface? I'm considering getting one but I'd like to use it for electric guitars as well, using Amplitube (or similar) in real time. Would the performance be comparable to audio interfaces like the Focusrite ones?
Latency is also going to be dependent on your hardware you're connecting to
@@MikeRussell yeah, no doubt, but the interface plays a big role.
It seems like it just needs a Direct Monitor button to allow the unprocessed signal through to your headphones, but the processed signal for everyone else.
Hey Mike, great video! Can this console hook up to and on air light?
Yes, but not natively.
@ is it quite easy to?
Having had the mixer, do you think that the number of inputs is a limitation of the rodecaster pro 2? I have a Clarett 8 pre usb but unsure if it is wise to sell it as I would be limited to two stereo pairs in on the RodeCaster. Your opinion would be very much appreciated.
It totally depends on your usage, it's certainly not suitable for all uses due to it's limited inputs but that's not what it was primarily designed for.
Will it replace Zoom V3 Vocal Processor, Harmony, Pitch Correction, Reverb, Delay, 16 Studio Grade Effects? Merry Christmas Thank You
Thanks Mike going to buy one now
Enjoy diving into all its features and happy recording!
Any updates on the little bit of latency? Also are you still using this interface in 2024? Thanks!
Great video🙂👍
🙏
Good morning,
I heard there have been some updates to the rode caster pro 2
Have the problems highlighted in the videos been corrected? If yes, which ones ?
Which ones still need to be corrected?
Hoping the rodecaster continues to get updates.
Good day
Good morning! Yes, the RODECaster Pro II has received many updates although I currently use the Mackie DLZ Creator.
@@MikeRussell Hello, thank you for the response. So, there have been no updates regarding the RODECaster as mentioned in this video?
I'm not sure I want to put all my eggs in one basket. Yes, it's cheaper to buy it than buy each process units, if there's a problem, the whole unit has to be sent back to get fixed.
Rode generally build very good quality products
Nice video. Does the RODECaster Pro II latency bother you?
No 👍
Good review,
Seriously though why EQ on the master? Shouldn't really be messing with program audio eq...
It should be an option
I'm sorry, I forgot to ask you where's the dedicated play button. Hope I wouldn't have to go in the menu screen. Or would I be able to assign one of the side buttons as a play button? Thanks again for your help.
A question about the MTK mixer in terms of multitrack recording, is the USB tap point after the pre-amps or pre/post fader or after EQ.
The USB outputs are post fader and Pre-EQ
Very best Video for this Product!
🙏
19:29 The Loop Doesn’t Loop is very annoying! Seems like a simple fix!
The recap part of the video reminded me of The Gadget Show's (on channel 5) giveaway section.
🤣
@@MikeRussell yes there's no guests with me in the same room, think of me playing a video and reacting to it to break it down, I still need to hear some audio from that video and when I want to make a point I'll need to pause that video and speak, I cannot seem to find how to get the speakers working still
In that situation you absolutely don't want the speakers working, you want to wear headphones.
@@MikeRussell fair enough and I appreciate your time in responding. thank you
You’ve convinced me to go out and pick one of these up for myself! Can’t wait to get it all set up! The possibilities with this thing keep coming and I’m excited to absolutely evolve my sound with it!
Have fun 👍
Great review, is it possible to use RCP2 like a real mixer connected to Power amplifier speaker , I'm asking this because I don't see XLR output and I'm not sure output via TRS jack are good for no noise?
It’s not designed for that purpose but could be used if connected to an amp via the TRS jacks.
If you have a setup that works for you then I'd recommend carrying on using it 👍
What kind of USB C are you using? I can only find ones from like 1 or 2 meters but both my computers are pretty far way from each other. I'd love to have 5 meter or longer USB C cable but I don't think those cables will have the same speed as the 1 / 2 meter ones.
You are safe up to 1m with no reduction in speed, past that they will still be operational but with possibility of speed reduction.
Muchas Gracias!
Your microphone sounds crispy
Great review.
Thank you, I'm glad you found the review helpful!
I really want to get this into my setup.
It's available now 👍
@@MikeRussell Yeah, really needing to get it worked into my studio....
can it replace a stereo preamp? What if you connect the balanced outputs to an amp (not an integrated amp) to power the speakers? Will that work?
Sorry Russell if my last question was not as clear. What I was asking, I"m curious what you when you said "EQ Strip," and what you had titled “Master Channel EQ?” Just curious what you meant by that, since they already have a 3 band EQ. Is that not good enough, or you were asking for something different? Can you expound on this? Thanks for your quick replies! 😎
I'd like better than a 3 band EQ
@@MikeRussell So would I. I actually called tech support today and requested that they update it to a 10 band. We'll see what they do with that one.
