Hi. The Rode RODECaster Pro II is out and they claim to have fixed all the small issues that the previous model had including adding effects. Have you had a chance to check it out?
Hi, is the guitar input recorder in stereo by a any chance? I think the Rodecaster inputs are all mono, i recorded a guitar using two mono podmics and the voice with one, all three mono, and edited these three channels afterwards in Ableton live. Set one guitar channel to left and the other one to right to mimic stereo. Then added reverb. Was okay too, but now i am looking into connecting the output of a forusrite scarlett to the minijack input. Any thoughts on that? Cheers buddy
great video Bro.. I want to buy the rodcaster but i am also considering the Zoom L8 but i want the rodcaster for ease of use. I wanted to know if this could be used for music as well. Thanks for posting.
Is there a model that has reverb yet? Also.. I wanted to get a model to broadcast guided meditation with background music . Can I put background music into the rodecaster.. As in programme a button on the panel? (Midi or MPs file)
One thing to ask: since Roadcaster does not have reverb & echoes effect, after my recording song , should I still edit music into my computer ,to edit with adding reverb & echoes effect? What is the program compatible to Roadcaster that I should download for this editing? See you around, right here watching from ROMA con AMOR!
Hi. Nicely done demonstration. Very well explained. If you don't mind me asking a few questions. During edit, is it possible to single out vocals and something being played via Bluetooth while recording vocals? For example if I decided to sing along to a karaoke song on YT via blue tooth would I be able to edit just my vocals later? I am a beginner when it comes to editing, (recommend software for beginners?) I also have a rode caster pro. But currently only use it for podcasting. Thanks for the video. You sounded great man, please leave a link to your music. Cheers!
Nice review! I'm a musician too. I'm not convinced about the conversion quality for recording. Doesn't sound cristal clear as an SSL2 for example. Am I wrong? I Think live streaming seems good. Did you try recording and mixing and mastering through this thing?
@@ConnorWells Thanks for the reply Connor. 👍I just researched it and it said on their website that they are working on it for future release! Great video review btw!
That mic is cheap & i can hear it, you will have to spend some money but get a Neumann TLM 103, or u87 you will be in business with that rodecaster doing songs🎵
A friend sent this video to me and I am very impressed as a learning producer!
Amazing!! I have been using it to do my bass covers and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised😊
If you upgrade to a RCPII would love to see this same video for that as many of the internal options have changed in the RCPII
Thanks for making this VDO , I think Rode make your voice very strong just like the podcast sound and not left headroom for guitar that much
Thank you mate I’m glad you liked this video! This isn’t really designed for music but it was worth a go to test it and see!
If you find any other creative ways to use the RCP I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for making this video.
Hey man! Thanks for subscribing hope you enjoyed the video! I’m working on a video about it at the moment! :)
Great video mate.
Thanks 👍
Awesome you have done a lot for your show as regards Roadcaster. See you around, here watching from ROMA con AMOR!
Thanks mate!
Nice set-up, nice equipment. Thank you for the information.
Thanks for watching!
What is the rode black mic stand you are showing us. You don't use it in this video. Can't seem to find it. Looks GREAT with Rode Pod Mic. Thank you.
Hi Connor, can you overdub on the rodecaster? add tracks at a later date?
Its not meant for music, i think there is an option to bypass so it can go through a DAW

2 has reverb
does it have built-in studio reverb fx?
Sounds good but for the love of God turn down the compression

Hey thanks for subbing btw! so i believe you can do that, there is a multi track recording mode now which is great!

Hey Vini, yeah it’s sounds really really clear youtube compress everything on upload so playing it natively it sounds soo good!
Could you confirm what firmware version you have on the Rodecaster? I thought reverb was available on the Rodecaster pro...
The latest one, no reverb is available on any of the software versions :)

@@hockeyboey Oh that would be cool! Where did it say that?
Hey how can you add reverb to the mic in the roadcaster pro?
I added it in post you can’t add it from the rode caster pro itself
So…
