I’m going to be doing a video about this pretty soon and I also use the MPC One on occasion, I plugged the MPC One in to it and man I’m getting excited about the possibilities, this was a great video it’s nice to see that someone else is talking about the input features and akai gear with it.
EXCELLENT HANDS ON REVIEW 💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍 Answered some serious questions that needed to be answered for the dj's out there. That "cussin" edit is 😂😂😂😂😂 I will be selling my Tascam Model 12 and getting this since it is portable and does a bunch of stuff. I saw your hands on with the Rodecaster Duo which will be also added. Always watching your hands on reviews on products, and never disappointed. Peace be with you.
My prayers go up for you. At 77 I had the same problems that ended up with quadruple bypass surgery. With prayer a change in lifestyle I’m still performing.
11:05 😫😆😂🤣🔥‼️ This is a really cool unit and I’m a long time Rode fan. I still own the NT2. Thanks for the video. I now have my eye on another piece of new gear. 👀🤩 lol
Love the video. It answers alot of the "what". Would really love a video that shows the "how". For example. You are doing a live podcast and you are worry about some bad words coming out from your guess. How do you set up the beep sound? Where do you get the beep sound? How do you beep it out? How do you set up to record a caller calling in or you calling out. Would love a video that shows the types of sounds, when to use it. Vietnamese do alot of karaoke. Would love to see a video on how we can use it. How to sing together and how to incorporate a video with the sounds, etc. Thanks
FINALLY .Think i found my goto. Will it do this or replace (Zoom V3 Vocal Processor, Harmony, Pitch Correction, Reverb, Delay, 16 Studio Grade Effects) ive asked this to several channels w no response. Im just starting . Theres nothing like this channel ive found searching for 2 ta 3 weeks. THANK YOU
Just watched this video again...I ordered mine today...can't wait to use it with my Roland Aerocaster... Aerocaster is nice for what it does (wirelessly streams and/or records video/audio0 via cell phone cameras...but I wasn't thrilled with the audio...so I'll be using the audio from the RP2 into the Aerocaster and utilizing the capabilities of this device into that.... Great presentation, and YUP I'm a Sub #Salute Happy Holidays
Great features for podcasters, if not a bit overpriced. And great review. What I can't seem to find is anyone who shows using the rode caster pro 2 as a standalone multitrack recorder. Yes, everybody shows how to record to the SD card in multitrack mode, and then move those files over to their DAW. But can this actually be used as a standalone multitrack recorder? i.e. record the drums, next lay down the guitar, lay down the base the next day, and then bounce all tracks over to track 4? Etc... I realize that workflow is probably old school, but there are still uses for it. ...And if you think about it, if this unit can't do that for $700, many "streamers" might be better off with a full-featured, 10-channel Mackie or Yamaha for $200.
I'm finally getting over my fear of doing a Livestream, and I've been thinking about this jawn, and you did a excellent presentation homie!! I also think this can take the place of my Zoom H8 🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Thank you for the review. So I use the Maschine Plus and I have the ROdecaster Pro II but there are no videos on how to connect it with the Maschine or your beat making hardware for that matter. Any guidance on that?
many things people wanna do by buying a bunch of adapter effects boxes and mixers this thing does it all in one and its a breeze to use expensive yes but absolutely unprecedented connectivity for streamers and id argue even some types of producer and small band workflows.
Is there an undo/redo, or overdub feature.. like let’s say you were re riding vocals to a beat you import from your mpc, and you mess up.. or wanna take a new take, how would you do that/could you do that? Ps I already bought this and it comes today, I was just wondering if you could do that or not
Have you successfully connected this to the Akai Force through USB? I can't seem to get it to work. The Force recognizes it but it won't connect to it..
Question: when it records to SD, does it record as a 2 track or does it record each track separately so that we could export them to another daw if we wished, for editing purposes? Also, can you “overdub”, as in lets say you didn’t want to play the sfx etc live, but you wanted to listen back through and add sound fx over the show on a second b Pass, can you do that?
So I am a Maschine user, will this work for that too??? I’ve been looking at all the videos trying to figure this out, and also can I record straight into my phone (iPhone 13 Pro) while recording a video???
I didn’t get to be 420 like so I’m 420 + 1 😂 I have scenes in Valeton GP 200 guitar pedal check out the Spark live for voice processing works through a phone app you can adjust quick on the fly I’m gonna get this to record right into Ableton I own
In theory, I’m not saying it Hass to sound fucking amazing. I’m not saying, for it to be the greatest thing ever if I’m just fucking around trying to create my own tracks it’s just me no band… in theory can I use this for music recording or music production (that’s why I clicked your video, but you still only really talked about podcasting) I’m looking at trying to use this with garage band when I plug my guitar into it I wanna plug mic into it. Can I use those square buttons the same as you would use a sampler thing or a drum sample pad? I don’t know what things are called I’m sorry, but that’s kind of exactly my point. I’m a beginner I’m starting out. I’m just fucking around having fun for myself and llooing for most usable most features for cheapest price, would this be combining multiple things that I am looking for into one piece of equipment? Again I have no idea what the proper vocabulary is so it’s hard for me to even formulate my question 😅 but like I know what I need in my head and what I’m trying to do and what I’m looking for I just don’t know all the proper words for eveything 😂 Soo sorry if that makes no sense to you but hoping you somewhat understand my question.. basically, I’ve been running around the music store looking at all these different things that I’m going to need and then I saw that one today and I was like this looks like all the bottoms of all the different things but on one thing lol 😂 imma try that! Lol 😂

I have one for my podcast and I love it
What up bro.
A Rhode 12-16 track mixer dedicated to musicians and producers would give comp to Akai, Roland and Zoom.

I am interested in buying this as well but for that price I don’t know if the cost would be justified
I'm finally getting over my fear of doing a Livestream, and I've been thinking about this jawn, and you did a excellent presentation homie!! I also think this can take the place of my Zoom H8 🙏🏾✊🏾💚
I'm wondering if you can hook your camera to it, like recording your audio into the camera
Yes sir!! Bro this joint is capable of anything! 👍🏾💪🏾
@@MarcusElbow Say no more!! I'm getting this jawn this week.. just don't tell my wife lol🤣🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Wassup Elbow, I just ordered it bro! What kind SD Card do you use homie?🙏🏾✊🏾💚
@@lindasson what’s good! I currently don’t have an SD card in my machine but Sandisk is my preferred SD card brand. 👊🏾

Can I use my performance tracks throught and record my vocals at the same as a studio
What you think about the Original Pro , I got offered a Deal but was gonna save for an Apollo Twin X
Would this handle recording or playing live with a saxophone?
Yes
Tack

Pass, can you do that?
yes but you have to go to setting to enable that features multi-track, so your daw can recognize it
How did you add the delay also is the album’s license free so streamers don’t get hit with a copyright?
So I am a Maschine user, will this work for that too??? I’ve been looking at all the videos trying to figure this out, and also can I record straight into my phone (iPhone 13 Pro) while recording a video???
Yes you can come straight out of the machine into the PCP2. (iPhone 13) yes with the right adapters. 👊🏾
Can you use the RCP 2 as a midi like an Akai mpc?
I’m not sure about that sorry. 👊🏾
I didn’t get to be 420 like so I’m 420 + 1 😂 I have scenes in Valeton GP 200 guitar pedal check out the Spark live for voice processing works through a phone app you can adjust quick on the fly I’m gonna get this to record right into Ableton I own
One question.. do I def sell my L-8? lol
Naw keep it bruh! You made to expand ur I/Os one day. 👊🏾
bro you talk like rap lol nice video btw
