@@west4798 Most current guys would get schooled by a fit and hungry Federer. Honestly it would be embarrassing. Let's not forget the fact that the man was actively beating these guys only 2 years ago. Lol. 2 years ago!!! If tennis has changed so much in two years, why hasn't the next gen, save for Medvedev, won any GS's. Lol. Watch some tennis dude.
Yes - the same people who bay "GOAT" for Novak presumably say Vincent van Gogh is a lowly artist because he didn't sell any paintings. Roger is a supreme artist - add to that 20 GS's, 6 end-of-year champs and all his awards and there's no contest with the ugly tennis of Djokovic.
Difference between Federer and all other players. Normal players wait to push their opponent out of court and then play the drop shot, only Federer has this insane ability to convert seriously good return balls into something magical.
The amazing thing about many of these drop shots is that they have low net clearance and height in general. They look so similar to a slice, and just drop short. Not only are they impossible to pick, the second bounce comes very fast. That’s incredibly difficult to do. It takes an insane amount of skill to hit a shot like that and make sure it bounces twice before crossing the service line, especially when you hit them down the line. Most players hit their drop shots by giving them a little more air, and making sure they are on their way down before they cross the net, making them drop incredibly short, and Roger can do that to perfection too, but I find the first kind so much more impressive. I’ve not seen anyone else hit shots like that from the baseline as well and consistently as Roger.
Dropshot against coric in third set is just out of this world... Very similar to the one he hit against bollelli in AO 2015...@raz- thanks for including that incredible camera angle with slow mo
Now another Dropshot master is emerging, vamos ! Carlos' forehand dropshots are more well disguised in my opionon. But Fed's backhand drops are just divine
Backhand slice drop shots are jus unbelievable..👌🙌🐐🤩 Was waiting for Wimbledon 2012 final drop shot against Murray though, greatest drop shot ever played in the game in my opinion..
Berdych would like to thank you for not making this video "50 Ridiculously Good Drop Shots Against Tomas Berdych." LOL! And that dropper against Kudla at IW always cracks me up. Roger's clocking the ball big time...and then out of nowhere hits that soft little drop shot. PS - Andy Roddick says, "Thank you for leaving me out of the video - for once. Where do I send the check?"
Can I ask where did you find some of these matches. Did you record them at the time to use or is there anywhere I can find replays. I can see some of them from tennis tv but not all of them. Just curious. Great video as usual btw
Can someone explain why other's forhand drop volley looks like they are delibrately doing so, with movements looks like shrug shoulders, but Fed looks so natural?
Roger is sports perfection. No other player like him. A total genius original. ❤
Before even seeing the video I can guess what the last shot will likely be. The high looping one he hit against Berdych. "He didn't move a muscle!"
Hahahaha
So much disguise in that shot.. Berdych thought it was a deep inside out BH slice and got fooled
One of the worst drop shots ever, any current guy would track down that shot.
@@west4798 that's a disguised drop shot where the opponent got fooled... Not sure if u really watch tennis or not

Federer's drop shots are just staggering. The best I've seen and another league of talent needed to pull them off.
Nadal and Djokovic may have more grand slams, but roger will always be the best of all time, magical, elegant, incomparable. I miss you Roger
favourite ≠ best

Magical shots 😍 .... "Maestro in the art, Tennis is his canvas"
I can't believe I haven't watched this video. Thanks for your hard work dude
That slowmo in the Coric point...magical!
Great compilation!! Thank you! Federer =tennis

Roger Federer is Adored everywhere in every Tourny...Even the Announcers root for him...Why?...Because he is Roger Friggin Federer!!!
Loved that Slow-Mo Camera Angle of the drop shot against Coric

Hey Raz, you must make a compilation of Federer's drop shot returns!
Fine art that improves with age. Thank you for this compilation video.
Simply the greatest tennis player!
Ridiculous!! love it..thank you!
🚶♂Sooo many good shots...so much humility...never seeking applause 🚶♀
Makes it look so effortless !!

I agree, greatest drop shot but decided to not include GS material in this video!
Sir Roger federer golden legend in universal love you so much ❤❤❤
I had no idea he hit so many forehand drops

perfection. pure genius
I love what the commentator said “he’s a master of the arts and tennis is his canvas” because that’s so true!

but Fed looks so natural?
That's coz he is a born talent who makes it look everything so easy to eyes... Sorry I can't give u a technical answer though
Because he's a once in a lifetime talent
Simply beautiful ❤❤❤
The drop shot against Murray in ATP masters cup was disrespectful.Fed just walks away from the court after the shot. How cold blooded!GOAT indeed.
So disrespectful... I mean he knew Murray was out of the court when he did that and no way Murray is getting here. Cold
Fed backhand drop shot is a thing of beauty..
hahah playing him is an absolute nightmare, the variety of shots keeps coming at you
Beautiful.
Bro wins a point and puts his head down, never cocky.
the slice dropshot has always been 1 of federer's signature move
Pure magic
Berdych falling gotta be the funniest thing lol
The super slo-mo court level frames v Coric (in Rome?) probably the best piece of film since the "Earthrise" by Apollo 8 :)
thanks, i learned now
My guy, Clement was playing with his shades on lmao. SWAG 100
10:04 See that outfit for the first time
Was in 2013 hamburg, when he had back problems.
Any forehand drop shots?
Some .. it is quite difficult to do a forehand drop shot in my opinion
Feels like this is also a Berdych freezing compilation 🤣
2:53 I feel like Gasquet gave up too easily he could've made it to the ball in time.
What now about Alcaraz's dropshots Wimbledon 2023?
poor berdych... how many times did he show up in this video hahahaha😂😂
The weight of his drop shots makes them inch perfect
I feel bad for how many times Gasquet was a victim of his dropshots lol
I wonder if drop-shots being more comfortably played by backhand is a rule applying to the Swiss, or to all of tennis players.
Very funny that, against very similar drop shots, on different courts, Bardych lost his balance the same.
🤩👑🤩
Why does a farmer enjoy Roger Federer's tennis?
Because he can let his herd look at the matches and say: "Here, see, this is what a goat does."
岀其不意,攻其無備
How can people even compare alcarASS drop shot to this ???
I thought Alcaraz invented the dropshot?
