It was so awesome seeing this live. The Moody Blues with the Utah Symphony. Longest, most worth the ticket in my decades of concerts.
I always thought she would come back to me, but never did. I knew she was out there somewhere, finally free from domineering parents, but I could never find her. She's gone now, at peace. This one and "Your Wildest Dreams" tell that story, but with a happier ending.
A song that has a lot of meaning to me,i remember when my daughter left home on her travels many years ago & playing this song helped me cope with her being on the other side of the world!,so it has become 'our' song!,thank you Justin Hayward for being such a massive part of the Moody's & for many great memories over the years!,& also for 'Never comes the day' of the album 'On the threshold of a dream',my first ever album,when i first met my 'late' wife she told me she hadn't heard the album but had bought the aforementioned 'single',& to finish we had 'Nights in white satin' played on the organ at our marriage in 1973!.💖

Loved the music from this era. I saw the Moody Blues live in Sydney, Australia. Loved it. We were second row from the front. Like sitting in a large lounge room watching the guys perform. The best. I tried to find it on RUclips but couldn’t so thought maybe there never was a live recording. I can’t remember the year. Maybe late 80s, my guess, or early 90s. Maybe you know Justin? Thanks for posting this memory. I also couldn’t find a decent recording of any of your live recordings on RUclips. ❤
