3D printer creators are gonna go nuts with this
yea that's why im buying it rn
real
OH SHIT URE RIGHT THANK U
no because it sucks no one's gonna buy it it's basically a worse a35 for the same price, "worse" would be an understatement the fact that you can remove the back but not remove the battery is straight up insulting
bruh @@3mar00ss6
You can say the swappable back cover is a gimmick, but at $200 price point, at least they're trying something different! The specs is not bad too, so they're not really compromising anything.
The cameras are horrible though. You can get last year’s upper mid range for a better experience. Their own Nothing Phone (1) perhaps?
@@vedanshchn
Yes but the concept is for NEW phone buyers. People who buy new phones on a budget. The nothing phone 1 at the time it came out would not be a budget phone.......
Idk why im seeing Uncle Roger at first with that thumbnail
It's the shirt 😂
Me too 😂
Ending got me 😂
Another good phone review Uncle Roger. Keep it up!
😂 haiya
what an outro!
mediatek soc is surprisingly good midranger vs qualcomm
Great review 👍
I really like what they've done with this phone. Its a great idea. I seriously consider buying it as my next phone!
No NFC, no party.
You Reminded me of Uncle Roger with that Orange Polo T-Shirt
😂😂😂😂
My next cellphone
It doesnt have a jack, right?
Unfortunately, I think not including NFC is gonna be a big showstopper for many people who this is aimed at appealing to
Awesome
What are these comments??
Bots
Nice
Waaait guys, why aren't you testing front camera videos? 🤔
Display doesn't support HDR?
I liked the CMF Phone 1 as it has a unique design. But not without some drawbacks especially there is no charger in the box. The selfie cam is mediocre. No OIS on the main cam, No NFC and only a single speaker.
Btw, the ending is unexpected.😂
how came i nealry missed this i thought there were covers of smartphone
Maybe they are gonna do the modular phonee type?
Removable back-cover in this phone is absolutely modders go nuts.
for 199, this is fantastic
Great video, as usual. 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Could you please do a camera comparison between the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Oneplus 12R, Realme GT 6 and Xiaomi 13T?
Pixel 7 costs like $400 brand-new and delivers flagship-level photos
@@ModernGio it's also two generations behind.
A sliding controller that screws on the back of that thing will make it an awesome retro gaming machine. This has xperia play vibes to it.
For a brief moment I thought uncle Roger is doing a review this time on GSMarena 😂😂
No nfc or ultrawide camera is kinda weird. They couldve even used the 8mp uw sensor that a lot of midrangers have, its better than no ultrawide at all.
Nice thing is they added a 3d printing instructions for people to print their own back covers.
I guess the Nothing 2a covers this
No nfc because India doesn’t use NFC and this country is the principal target of this phone
@@GRakesan its sold in Europe also where lot of people use nfc
@OneDollaBill plus the company is uk based
At the price it is a VFM for Indian market. Looks cool. And interchangeable panels and accessories make it more practical. Extra back panels cost about 1000 INR or about 12$ each.
Last but not least you qcan easily change the battery and or parts like the old Poco F1 which I used almost 5 years with 2 times changed batteries.
Last but not least this is 5G enabled. So for next 3/4 years you don't need to worry.
As for cons?
1. NFC, it is an alien thing in India. We use Camera to scan and pay.
2. No charger, we already have old fast chargers or third oarty chargers in the market.
3. Duel speakers, it has a 3.5 audio jack and good wired headphones comes at $4/$5 or 300/400 INR. And even good wireless ear buds comes about 10$/15$ or 1000/1500 INR.
Overall I will say it looks great comparing to boring other models, accessories makes it fun and the OS seems cool.
Top💪
Does anyone know if this phone support Bluetooth LE Audio and de LCD3 codec?
Now I can say: CMF = Cool Mother F@cker
It has been a long time since removable back panels.
It's the first CMF phone so it as to be affordable. I think it's a sub18 max sub 21 kind of target people.
Considering that all products of CMF have a pro version let's hope in a short coming Phone 1 Pro with stereo speakers and NFC.
Excellent review as always.
(Xiaomi should learn something about software optimisation and battery life with nothing)
I wonder if someone will pring a camera lense adapter for the camera, that would be sick
I got a bit overhyped for this. Was expecting the dial to actually be a mappable dial and was hoping the battery could be swapped out. Lack of NFC is a bit of a dealbreaker for me as well sadly so a bit of a disappointment overall.
the only major turn off for me about this phone is the mono speaker, but other than that, it's quite ok for the price
the fact that you can remove the back but not remove the battery is straight up insulting
Will is got some moves 🕺🏻
No NFC would be a deal breaker if I were shopping at this price range, I remember 3-4 years ago you could get a X3 NFC with NFC in the name, 120hz, same charging wattage and good battery for slightly less than this one. Especially considering they're targeting developed markets where even if you're looking at a budget phone, you likely still have a debit card, and I don't think anybody will be getting a more expensive nothing phone to get NFC at this price, they will just get a Poco or Galaxy A. It's a shame, it would've had the fundamentals done perfectly if it weren't for this and people won't have to hold back from getting this work of art 😔
I think this phone is more aimed for developing countries, where qr payment are more prevalent. also, if you're in developed countries, just get the 2a
@@aminazman9311 I've checked and nothing phone is sold in developing markets, my mistake. My impression was they are only sold in Europe. It's still a shame because NFC isn't an expensive addition, and the phone is 1/3 cheaper and more practical than a 2A
Hello. Is it possible to change battery by myself?
This is not stated, but at the same time it is much easier than in other phones; if you are a little careful, replacing the battery will not be difficult.
Love the ai person
I think this phone is not too eccentric like Nothing Phone with the blips led.
When are they releasing this?
already released
@@chuckyboi in other countries
Oled?? Can someone explain? On the website it says amoled
AMOLED is a type of OLED - OLED is the broader term for the technology.
I miss Angie though.
👍♥️
Lmao that ending 😂
I wish someday Nothing make great phone with side mounted fingerprint sensor🙏
Hey GSMArena, can you do PC and Laptop please?
Thank you for Review I see readmi note 13 is bitter than he and he Compalete page
no eSIM support either :(
i thought that uncle roger gonna review this.haha
Gimme all of this stuff plus easily swappable battery, dual sim+microSD, headphone jack in a higher/flagship tier spec unit with a bit better IP protection and Nothing will have a good bit of my attention. In any event, I applaud the guts to shake up the intensely boring flat slab smartphone market here....
lol do what world u live in but u sure expect a lot for $200
@@newfnshow031 Reading comprehension problem there bro.
2:12 ? Says it do on your own site
no headphone jack is let down while the rest of the device is alright.
Why, why, why no NFC!!!? Everything about this phone screamed buy me, until I find it has no NFC. Granted I can use my Garmin with its built in NFC to pay for things. But damn, it's 2024. NFC is a must.
No NFC and this was DOA for me. Pity because I would've bought one if it had NFC.
this photo getting 4.0 in yall rating is crazy, at this point any phone is 4.0 or above
Charging back option milaga
No NFC is a serious omission!
Im in love with the look but it would just be a sidegrade for me :(
What was that outro? Straight out of 2014 😂
wwowowow
Removable back but not removable battery is absolutely moronic decision.
I didn't read or hear about a "non removable battery". He just said it's not recommended...
Unfortunate, but I think that would be for the device to make the IP52 rating
You have absolutely moronic comprehension. Nobody said this phone's battery cannot be removed.
DIY lookin ahh phone
🤨

Selling like hotcakes
Nokia did this 10 years ago...

Where did the chick with choker go? 🤔
She quit the company.
700 nits isn't bright
Guys you made some mistakes. The display is Amoled (even in your website shows that) also it does support Hdr10+
You made a budget video for a budget phone
AMOLED is a type of OLED - OLED is the broadest term for the technology. There is support for HDR10+ video, there is only UltraHDR support, which is a photo format.
mediocre, where are my stereo speakers
yet another BBK Chinese sub brand of a sub brand of a sub brand lol
Seriously no one find this phone ugly at all? This company is famous for making hyperbole and frankly rather average phones.
I agree with you 100%. It's funny to me how some people would give up NFC support for an ugly font and monochrome support lol. Not to mention the ingress protection is laughable and the speaker at the bottom.... I mean... come on. But I'll tell you one thing, they are making a good job of paying youtubers to give them favourable reviews. I have seen these guys at GSM arena being very critical of other phones that are much better value than this one, it is obvious that they are getting paid.
@@diegocabrejas6059dude it's a $200 phone
Don't buy this phone, No NFC
