Multitasking is a breeze on the CMF Phone 1 thanks to the Dimensity 7300. I can switch between apps without any slowdown. It's like having a personal assistant in my pocket.
The actual performance on a phone depends on the chipset as well as the software. With CMF being less bloated, the performance in games should be better as the OS takes less ram and cpu utilization.
Personally CMF design is better than nothing line up, except for that weird rotating thing. Limiting colour to black and asking to buy other colours ? Now charging for even color options.
Isnt that bad.. Just worried about inhand feel in prolong usage plus that uncooked camera output ruins the deal. I hope nothing solves the camera optimization issue as it has capable imx882 & some cool back covers those save hands getting ripped by the screws.
Its a decent attempt by CMF. But nowadays I think Samsung M series with mediatek or snapdragon is better value for money in the budget segment. Particularly if mild office use is gonna be there. Crazy long update support. So office apps like Microsoft intune etc will be supported way longer. And decent mediatek chips so no modem issues and less heating issues as well ( compared to those base level Exynos chips they provide )
But in cpu throttle cmf scores more absolute points than iqoo. Cmf avg score is higher than iqoo max score which is strange. Is iqoo limiting performance to ensure the graph stays flat in benchmark apps?
IMO Mono speaker is its huge achilles heel, plus the lack of even basic IP rating(it has IP X2 rating which means very little water resistance and NO solid resistance(i.e dust, powder small stuff that gets in). Imma suggest everyone to wait for CMF 2, since its a completely new brand, they'll take some time to settle. 1st phone of any brand is not good

If you want performance, functional set of cameras, and faster charging speed with good battery backup with charger included in the box, go with OnePlus Nord CE 4. If you want clean OS, customisable back panel and are okay with buying the charger separately, go with CMF Phone (1).
