I hate how good of an idea that knob on the case is, and that it's taken this long for someone to think of it. Few things I hate more than fiddling with the stem to change volume, or trying to find the volume buttons on my phone in the pocket, especially on the pix8 where both power and volume are on the same side. Hope they keep iterating on this to iron out those delay kinks and such.

Hello , i want to buy The Best buds for sound quality and clearness (not bass , i usually listen to classic and instrumental music) Which one do you prefer Cmf buds 2 pro or anker liberty 4 nc
I got theese recently, honestly i got them only because i got the cmf phone and i got a discount for buying both and my old ear phones 1 are giving up after very heavy daily use. I like them, they are the right kind of cheap, i don't know how to explain it, when you handle them they don't feel premium, they feel like i can be careless with them and they gonna survive. sound quality it's exactly what you expect, ok base is way too intrusive, it's the first time ever i turn down base, I had no connection issue. The gestures are working really great for me but i kind of miss being able to raise and lower the volume confortably from the buds, tapping just does't feel natural to me to raise the volume, the good part about it is you get to use the knob on the case, i thought it was going to be gimmiky but it's so fucking satisfying they include a gesture so you can disable the knob so you can fidget with it. The case feels good in the hands compared to the pods and it's a good idea i think you are goint to handle that a lot
They are pretty good, my only gripe is that they dont stay in my ear very well.. if I just sit still or lightly shake my head they stay in but any time I talk, chew or move a bit they wiggle out. I went from Galaxy Buds FE (those died on me 2 months in and cost almost as much as the CMF buds to have repaired) and those never fell out. Overall I really enjoy the CMF Buds Pro 2 and for they are 100% unbeatable for the price
You could always get a cheap voltmeter, clamp a pair of needles into its alligator clip probes, and do a manual test for ground on each contact point against the all of the points on the other end of the cable. It would let you see exactly how each one was soldiered out in the cable harness, and what the actual resistances were in the cable. As a bonus, if you wrote down the returns for each connection, you would be able to check the cable for degradation over time
I had an Anker with IP67, i always used it in the shower. I lost it in a trip and is an old model that i can't find to buy anymore. It was one of those bluetooth phones with a cable between the phones. I can't find IP67 bluetooth phones anymore =/
About that shake test, yes they do seem to really be in there. But for HOW LONG are they "really in there"? My buds are also "really in there". for about 5 minutes when they start to slip out and i CONSTANTLY have to press them back in again.....
@@Majber I would say they're the same. Crinacle has a video explaining how these kind of in ear eat buds have good low frequency noise reduction and almost none high frequency. Unless the shape of your ear is exactly opposite of earbud creating a perfect seal, ANC will be meh.
IP6x is not necessary for such a product. I work in an automotive products test lab. The 6 is a dust that is barely found in the world. Its called Arizona dust, its smaller that powdered sugar or flour or idk whats smaller. Google Arizona dust. IP5x is perfectly fine. I might buy these. Also, the type A for this price is fine
Well. I know they are nothing special, but I think since wireless earbuds are by design going to be a rather limited audio experience, I would still go for the Anker SoundCore P3 or similar. They can often be had for around 40€ and give me like 90% of the audio experience that the Sony WF-1000xm5 geave me. If you pay the regular 80 bucks, wait for another sale! To me as an audiophile, it really does not make any sense to go fancy on wireless earbuds. They will never be able to compete with some solid over-ear headphones. Midrange is good enough in this product category.
I have no charging devices that use type C. In my collection it's only used by mobile client devices. Which I know is not the intention for the C connector, but so far I haven't gotten anything that uses it except things that have batteries that need to charge.
Physical buttons on the buds would have been SUCH a big win for these. Fiddly, sluggish touch controls on a device you literally cannot see is inappropriate at best, and an active detriment at worst. Would've been great to see a "function first" brand like Nothing be willing to admit it, since most of the big players don't seem to want to.
I'm literally holding my phone right now in the shower while watching this video. Would be nice if I could somehow watch this video while also cleaning myself instead of just feeling nice warm water wash over my body but oh well.
Get one of those little suction cup shower wall basket-trays (the ones that are made out of wire mesh). Should be like $10. Put it on the wall under or beside the shower head fixture, and then see if it will safely hold your phone
I am someone who is absolutely paranoid about the Bluetooth randomly disconnecting and my wierd music blasting out load for the whole bus to hear. It's one if the main reasons I refuse to use wireless. Is there any risk of that happening with these?

Why not use your car speakers?
@@krimmAnims Because my car is a screaming big rig and I like to save my hearing. Just having earbuds in.. without ANC.. cuts noise by about 25%. I can still hear for any problems.. but I don't end my day with a headache.
I’m pretty sure they accidentally recorded through the phone’s mic, which would explain why it picked up so much background noise
I'd honestly like it if you also saw other budget options like Realme and Redmi's earbuds. Feature-wise I think they're pretty comparable, they cost the same, and they've been around for a while. Though I'm no audiophile so I can't tell you if they sound good or not lol
Yea, I actually think it's bad when companies send a type-c cable and no brick with it. Not everyone can afford to have gan chargers with c ports in all the locations someone would charge devices at. I have so many A chargers even if they are slower speeds I'd rather be able to use them than feel forced to buy type c charging bricks.
One of the reviewer of CMF Buds Pro 2 said that when air blows on the buds ANC switch Off. Can you please test and share the result in the ANC modes (High, Med, Low & Adaptive)
10:32 is "Opteo" using the ANC microphones to dynamically tune the audio?
Good video
Bro i got these buds yesterday
Everything is good
But right side buds discharge 5% faster than left one
I.e if left one is 95% and right one show 90% ....
Is this happen with your unit...
Plz reply me...
All bluetooth earbuds are like that
It just depends on which one connects first to your phone
I think it's nice because I get to use one earbud while the other is charging
If I ever want to buy some product to listen to music, James would have to be the one to trust on. Not only does he knows about the topic, but he tends to react to the products using the same kind of music I would like to use them for.
I'm probably gonna buy these pretty soon. These seem too good to be true but priced so reasonably it doesn't really matter if it's a little untrue.
I have the CMF pro 1s and they're super nice! I get to listen to music while I'm wearing my hat. Plus, they're the only earbuds I feel comfortable using
Better than oneplus buds pro 2?
you havent activated the Spatial Audio feature. To activate it you have to press on the diamond shaped button on the main page of the earbuds in the app. Its on the top left of the battery display of the left earbud
this is the kind of product LTT should be spotlighting anything that punches above its price point. there are too many product that are priced high just because they know most dont care about price to performance.
Its not punching above, it's doing fine at the price range it comes.
Definitely picking up a pair of these bad boys.. Which smart watch is that your wearing?
Pixel watch
60 bucks? Man, my LG Tone Free just died (left earbud literally fell apart when I went to see why it wasn't working) and I'm in the market.
Also, I would probably get the blue, because apparently I'm a child and still have a favorite color.
Exact same happened to my tone frees the other week
Haha nothing wrong with what though 😂@@bahamutbbob
Here to say that my tone free died exactly the same way 😂 it was the right one tho
Mine too! Literally the best fitting buds ive had, and best sounding but damn that build quality... Meanwhile im bacl to my old galaxy buds plus and soundpeats truefree2(ip68 and these are my nitty gritty and in typhoon or over water buds).
Still looking for what to replace it with...
Just got these today. The feel great in my ear and sound good too. Earbuds usually hurt my ears. These do not
Why don't you give this to your labs?
Why is the volume test carried out in a very quiet studio? Wouldn't it be better to use your labs to simulate a loud train, traffic, airplane? It's very hard to find rechargeable buds that go loud enough to hear talking clearly while on a noisy train. Audio books are almost impossible with rechargeable headphones on noisy city transport.
Is James saying these work been well on noisy city transport? Should that be one of your tests, simulated, in your lab?
"The cable's short, there's no adapter, you know what? It's a budget product" what expensive product comes with adapter and long cable? Airpods? Sonys? Beats?Bose?
Where’s the link to the actual product though
We watch TV when the kids go to sleep but have been using a Bluetooth adapter and earbuds. Just found out my new samsung TV can hook directly to the earbuds. We only use one ear each so we can hear other noises. Looking for your opinion on the best sounding earbuds for TV use without spending over $200. Thank you
I hate how good of an idea that knob on the case is, and that it's taken this long for someone to think of it. Few things I hate more than fiddling with the stem to change volume, or trying to find the volume buttons on my phone in the pocket, especially on the pix8 where both power and volume are on the same side. Hope they keep iterating on this to iron out those delay kinks and such.
I bought mine today. I'm browsing through sites and here the youtube about the ear peice. the right side is much more powerful than the left side?
if I’m reaching into my pocket to increase volume, wouldn’t I just use my phone’s buttons?
both works
Volume, yeah, but pause/play/skip not
Should I buy the buds 3 pro? What if they don't fit my motorcycle helmet and push my head
Would these be good earbuds for working out?
9:32 the interface is not sucks on the buds, you just did wrong.... ONE tap and hold not two tap and hold, and if you stay holding it will incrase or decrase the volume step by step. i think the intarface is prety good you just need to get used to it, the feed back are good and its register the touches properly. Only down side I can say that if you want to change some setting you need to turn on the location , (you don't have to leave it on, just when changing settings, when y general use it you dont need to use location just bluetooth).
Any updates about the buds for you?
@@ejwo0Nothing much, the buds are still good for the price, the dial is a cool feature BUT its not useful (for me) in everyday life. The design is nice BUT when y pick up the case y dont know where is opening so that a little annoying, and the case white color is a little easier to get dirty than on other buds (probably bc the type of the plastic)
Hello , i want to buy The Best buds for sound quality and clearness (not bass , i usually listen to classic and instrumental music)
Which one do you prefer
Cmf buds 2 pro or anker liberty 4 nc
The case feels good in the hands compared to the pods and it's a good idea i think you are goint to handle that a lot
oh chat gpt works good, as good as you expect, but i don't use because in my own language it has a very weird accent lol
Overall I really enjoy the CMF Buds Pro 2 and for they are 100% unbeatable for the price
wait you guys have usps mail in canada?
No. We have UPS, though. Sometimes people ship USPS until the border where it's handed off to another carrier, and retains some USPS stickers, tho.
FedEx will also deliver USPS bags and USPS labeled small packages
These ear pods have some crazy bass and mics are really really good. Though a bit expensive, but worth every quarter
I've been thinking about getting these and the video really helps by showing the pros and cons.
@1:40 you can see they're a pass-through hole for the same mic on the dangly part of the earbud
Nothing ear a vs CMF buds pro 2, which would you suggest
nothing ear
In a USB C world, how many of the pins are actually connected?? I've seen a cable with only two pins inside the USB C (power and ground)
I would like more in depth look on ANC in this model. Especially compared to ear (a) .
@@Majber I would say they're the same. Crinacle has a video explaining how these kind of in ear eat buds have good low frequency noise reduction and almost none high frequency.
Unless the shape of your ear is exactly opposite of earbud creating a perfect seal, ANC will be meh.
@@JairRiveraFotografo I have ear (a) and an is great. Just curious if this model have better
It's ok if only the Right buds will stop the music if I remove it?
What was the hand signal at 1:44
Gang sign
Do you really have trouble figuring out left and right?
My cmf buds pro 2 is fully charged, but the red light shows not turn off
You guys get adapters with other earbuds?
The blue makes them look like uber budget earbuds off of temu
IP6x is not necessary for such a product. I work in an automotive products test lab. The 6 is a dust that is barely found in the world. Its called Arizona dust, its smaller that powdered sugar or flour or idk whats smaller. Google Arizona dust. IP5x is perfectly fine. I might buy these.
Also, the type A for this price is fine
Him: I probably wouldn’t choose the blue
Also him: holding a blue pair
I have never seen a review like this in any channel on yt. You deserve a like and a sub actually , thank you and keep it up🫡🫶
1.8 hours with ANC? Isn’t that kinda short battery life?
6:38 I believe you have to have the case open to keep it connected to the phone.
Agnostic? how does it realted to headphones position in the case?
Physical buttons on the buds would have been SUCH a big win for these. Fiddly, sluggish touch controls on a device you literally cannot see is inappropriate at best, and an active detriment at worst. Would've been great to see a "function first" brand like Nothing be willing to admit it, since most of the big players don't seem to want to.
Guys OPPO Enco buds 2 pro also good but cheaper. Nothing is more like branded already.
do you guys think that i should buy this or galaxy buds 2?
I own these earbuds and in the instruction manual it shows you wear the press senser is on the buds and it is exactly were James thinks it is.
This or the Galaxy Buds FE? They are priced about the same here in my country.. I do have a Fold4 tho
Buds fe .
At some point could you guys explain why Canada always pays a premium vs the US dollar? Not much in this case - about $5 US, but often it's excessive.
Only thing id want to know that wasnt answered. Do they have passthrough
you did not mention the buds can work with two devices simultaneously which is a great thing
With so many chargers having a type c and a type a port (that’s often lower output) makes sense to have c to a on a low power device
Is it okay for running?
Why can't we have more gear with slide to control volume like Huawei Freebuds?
I am someone who is absolutely paranoid about the Bluetooth randomly disconnecting and my wierd music blasting out load for the whole bus to hear. It's one if the main reasons I refuse to use wireless. Is there any risk of that happening with these?
if the bluetooth disconnects on earbuds the music or video or whatever auto pauses and it doesnt switch to the speaker automatically. i have just tested this with my xiaomi buds 5, and it is like that with any bt headphone or earbud, dont worry.
@SimonBauer7 TYSM
Does it support dolby atmos?
I used the buds pro first gen same terrible touch controls. Your are correct why they put a control on the case 😂 The buds pro 2 also suck I been using them all week with the same bad touch control as first gen. Hopefully they will eventually figure it out
Does the futures work with iphone?
Thank you sir. They’re on the way. Thank God for Amazon!
