While the quick tap feature is neat, it does not work consistently for me on my Pixel 8 Pro. I've set it to take screenshots when I tap but, if I'm on a call for example it doesn't work. I'm guessing this is something that can get ironed out in future updates though. I'm aware older Pixel models have gotten much better after a couple of updates so I'm excited for the future!
Same here. I hardly use it because of this
find the pixel 8 pro too big so my taps are not consistent. The pixel 8 gets its right at all times
Tap about an inch under the camera bar
At first I thought the quick tap might be kind of cool, but I discovered on my Pixel 8 Pro that it can be activated sometimes with one tap. That led to accidental activations, so I no longer use it.
Same situation with the pixel 8.
For me the problem was the case, remove the case and the feature works well. Honestly I prefer a functional device rather than a double tap feature but never mind

I completely forgot about the Gboard customization feature! I immediately went in and changed it.
On a similar note to this video, I've spent a lot of time with my 6 pro trying to optimize battery consumption, it would be cool to have a tips video on battery, connectivity, etc...

Yeah, as I delved into all the settings, I realized there are many ways to optimize the battery performance. So many different ways I'm sure some users are not aware of all of them.
Really nice video Jordan. I really liked that tip about that USB A to C dongle. I use it to transfer files from my Pixel 8 Pro onto a pen drive.

This was very helpful, I just bought my first pixel Thursday and I've been trying to learn the different tips and tricks to it. I love the phone and believe I have become a true pixel fan. I don't think I'd ever go back to apple

I have a Pixel7 while the quick tap feature is very cool but consistency is the problem. It doesn't work every time with my device.

When i had my Pixel 6 i took the best macro shot by using the portrait mode with the rear camera, im just saying for those who still have the Pixel 6 series.
