Hearing Aspens rustling is music to my ears, We have a grove of them in our front yard and the back of the leaves are silver colored and show when the wind blows just right, Have a great day and thanks for the ride. Keep on truckin'!
Hi Rusty..this is a beautiful place very peaceful and very beautiful people..this is where my husband and I like to go ..from El Paso Texas. We can't get enough of this beautiful little town and it's breath taking calm place.Enjoy, and may the lord take care of you with the best of health so you can enjoy his wonders. You should visit Sunspot...maybe later head to Roswell and visit the Roswell museum ..But careful with the aliens and their flying saucers....
Love that area. Have been there several times. We take roads, just to see where we will end up,. Took a dirt road out side of Cloudcroft one time and found someone living in a Teepee. Didn't stop to visit. They had a sign saying keep out. So we keep going.
Thank you, Rusty, for a beautiful driving video. The trees were spectacular with that scenic blue sky as a backdrop. Nature is a wonder, isn't it? Take care!
Right now, I am sitting at my desk reading caselaw. I have this video maximized on my computer monitor that's right in front of me. Unfortunately, have you muted Rusty (sorry :/), but this video makes me feel like I am on a virtual reality ride in the front seat. It's awesome and gorgeous! Love that you're going 25mph, because it's just slow enough to really get a great feel for the drive. Sighhhhhh : ) Love it! You're awesome, Rusty. Thanks for taking us along with you : )
There are three varieties of pine trees there. The dark ones are Ponderosa Pines. Family members put together a ranch of about 150 square miles with some of the forest in the south end and the rest grass. It was the 4th largest ranch in NM. Then the government took it over as a gunnery and bombing range during WW-II. It was supposed to revert to the owners when the war was over but they refused saying they could not do so as there might be live ammunition scattered across it, Then they declared it to be National Forest land.
Hey Rusty new subscriber, love the videos. Been to some of those camp grounds and love them. Don’t know if you have been to the city of rocks or not, but it is a great camping place. I lived in New Mexico for about ten years and love it, anyway just thought I would throw that out there to you.
