Also, I believe that having immobility at an old age can effect your conscious well being. The person who is forced to sit in a chair staring out of the window will be much more depressed than the person who is able to move about freely.

This really motivated me. I have had heart surgery and now, as a result, have nerve damage in my left foot and back pain, but I still managed it ok. I even worked up a sweat. I love Jane, I could relate to her, and I am proud of myself that I actually did the whole thing, feeling better and more capable as we went along. I am going to be doing it again tomorrow. I know that all I have to do is come back every day and slowly, slowly, I can transform my fitness and my life. Thanks Jane & Lionsgate and thanks to my two cans of soup lol!

Perfect! I'm seeing a chiropractor. She only suggests, "keep moving and a few stretches." Jane covered my whole body to relieve joint pain and stiffness. And I don't need much space. She is encouraging and reminds you to keep breathing. I remember why growing up, mom said. "Watch your posture."

I love this I have a bad lumbar and muscles in leggs pulling ao I couldn't get out of bed without help have been doing this workout for months and it does keep my pain controlled most of the time thanks for another great workout for lumbar and muscle issues it helps I have done your videos for years I am 70 now and I am trying to stay on my feet

She is absolutely amazing! I used to do the workouts in her Jane Fonda's Workout Book when it came out in the beginning of 80's when she started the whole fitness craze. My parents did not have a VCR, so I had to borrow the book at the local library. And 35 years later she is still showing us how it is done and looks absolutely fantastic. What an inspiring woman! There is no really excuse to stay fit and healthy at any age.

Starting "with Jane" at age 80, and love the gentle and thorough workouts. A tip for some seniors, for Mozilla Firefox I added "Video-Speed Controller" add-on and can now do the workouts at MY pace, namely, 80% of what is considered "normal" around here. I claim that ALL videos play at inhuman speed . . . .

Absolutely wonderful. First time I have done this type of exercise since my heart operation. Didn't know how I would go as my sternum is wired together now. Took it slowly but finished the set and I am still breathing. Will do again tomorrow.
