The TaylorMade M3 and M4 both offer the latest "Twist Face" technology, but which is best for your golf game?
In this video Frank & Mike break down the similarities and differences between the new TaylorMade M3 and TaylorMade M4.
To recap, here are a few key points:
Both the TaylorMade M3 and M4 feature TaylorMade's new Twist Face technology. They also both include the new "Hammerhead" slot for improved distance. One of the biggest differences between the two drivers is that the M3 is fully adjustable via two sliding weights that allow the user to adjust for high and low shots as well as fades and draws, while the M4 is only adjustable with regards to loft at the hozel.
Generally speaking the M4 is considered to be the more forgiving of the two drivers and it is also approximately 15% lighter than the M3.

Average guys testing clubs and being honest and transparency with the results instead of RUclips superheroes commenting as if they all hitting the ball over 300 yards on the fairway all the time. My taylormade M2 driver head recently cracked and I took it to Edwin Watts to have it looked at. Edwin watts took pictures of it and sent the photos to Taylormade for review. I guess that’s the protocol before they do anything. 2 weeks later, Taylormade sent me a brand new M4 driver and requested that Edwin Watts send the actual driver to them for evaluation.
The m4 driver is a beast! Love Taylormade! My drives are noticeably straighter and ball speed is significantly faster.

Really appreciated the fact that you guys showed using the weights and adjustability to help the ball flight. Great video guys. Went to PGA Superstore in Myrtle Beach when they came out. Hit M3 and M4. Got best fit with the M4. Hit the M6 when they came out, stuck with the M4. Is in my bag.
I like the review broham's. Regular dudes getting it in. Most golfers are all over the place so it's all good.

i love my M3, i came off from the 2016 M2. i jus like the feel of the weights the M3 has. first hit for me was off the toe and it came back to center. my slice turned more into a slight push right. they stay longer then what my misses on M2 did. its kinda wild to see a mishit shot look like it didnt go anywhere. but when u walk up to the ball its actually jus 5y back from center . which is fine with me

Excellent review guys, subscribed. Just out of curiosity, what is your optimal driver shaft length? In your cobra video you mentioned getting the shaft cut down
"optimal" shaft length is going to depend on the individual but generally speaking most out-of-the-box driver shafts are around 45 inches. Compare that to the average driver shaft length on the PGA TOUR (44.5") and you'll see that a lot of club manufacturers stretch out shaft length to get a few extra yards. The best thing you can do is get a professional fitting to determine the right length for you, rather than just pulling a stock shaft off the shelf.

The last thing Mike should do is decrease loft on a driver. Whenever you do this, the driver sits open.

i appreciate your attempt at reviewing clubs -- however, i'd have to suggest you guys get some lessons. being a fitter it'd be hard for me to even get you guys dialed in b/c you're both all over the map.

how is it realistic to see guys who can't hit a ball consistently give you a review when they can't find the middle of the clubface? wouldn't all drivers sound, feel and perform the same way then? ie, all over the map but 'sound great' ?
I've never seen a constance slice like that before without trying to fix it. Buddy in black should do a video trying to fix his swing by hitting a draw or more down the line. He must kill those doglegs rights tho.

Appreciate your attempt but with your swings it’s hard to make any conclusions. Watch some Paul Wilson golf videos. You guys swing way to hard with your arms. Just watch Paul and learn a great way to swing. Cheers.

This PGA TOUR Superstore location uses Foresight simulators which track ball launch using visual optics and then calculate ball flight based on an algorithm.
