I like that after the chaos, the people we see still running around are being completely quiet, as if they figured out how they hunt like Sam did. Well, except for the “Jonathan!?” woman.
I think it only worked decently because so many footsteps was constant like water. once they got close it enabled them to pick out singular targets and then it was over
I can't help but hear a certain sound before the carnage started. Like a subtle hint of a warning. It's quiet, almost unnoticable. @@darealmelonthatplaysroblox "Screaming" and noticing that something exists isn't even remotely synonymous. I don't know how you got that interpretation.
So the first full scale invasion shows people stamping to get away but the first 'A Quiet Place' made it a rule to not make sound to survive. Even though this is set in a large busy city, would they eventually come to know about this and how they obtained that rule. Or did the writers drop that idea for another direction to the previous entries?
This is Day One, very early into the invasion. They don’t know just how powerful the alien’s hearing is yet. And before that they had helicopters luring the aliens away with loud sounds so they assumed they were in the clear.
That clears it up. With city-wide attack and those moments like people huddling to survive would make the noise apparent. This shows that from Day One to the first movie timeframe how far they came to learn to evade the circumstances. This city invasion is what I imagined JW Dominion should have been about instead of what we got which was meh.

There truly is something disturbingly unsettling about an entire city rendered silent in a matter of hours at the beginning. Lupita carried this film
motivated by pizza, i would love a pizza too
Honestly im 50/50 about that situation ,im a very calm guy and i usualy walk on my toes so i could live ,however i get sick easily so if i start sneezing or coffing i would definitly die ,im giving myself maximum 1 year to live and im exagerating in this
Why tf would u stay there a year.ur biggest chance is too leave the City instand of waiting there for help
The cat just chilling looking for it’s owner! While the whole normal people in the beginning legit disappeared like when thanos snapped the infinity gauntlet
Aliens: all yall had to do was be quiet
A film that puts your mind at ease thanks to a cat.
When I saw this scene, I knew this would end up happening. Reminds me of the last us where you can be as quiet as possible crouch walking past a clicker, but they’ll still hear your footsteps regardless unless your far away from them, now add a ton of people into a crowd, you can be as quiet as possible, but the noise will still feel like a stampede.
I'm sorry....that cat needs an Oscar!!!
How would you sleep in this situation? If the Death Angels are attracted to noise surely snoring would be a problem lol
Snoring isn't a universal thing. Most people don't snore
At least with all the snorers gone sleep would be easy
@@user-gh9hz9yf3e Bro 💀
That scene just focusing on the cat makes me want to see an apocalyptic movie through the perspective of a small animal.
If I was a bird I’d troll the Aliens so hard.
I like that after the chaos, the people we see still running around are being completely quiet, as if they figured out how they hunt like Sam did.
Well, except for the “Jonathan!?” woman.
1:46 My dawg, it's a CAR. You got room to spare🤦♂️
It's insane how quickly they managed to completely silence the city within like 2 minutes 😂 That is the extreme level of violence 💀
man as soon as i saw adeilade from the us movie i knew this would be a hit movie.
When I saw this scene, I was like "No! Don't people know how fukin loud walking is? They're being so loud right now!"
I think it only worked decently because so many footsteps was constant like water. once they got close it enabled them to pick out singular targets and then it was over
I can't help but hear a certain sound before the carnage started. Like a subtle hint of a warning. It's quiet, almost unnoticable. If you go to the scene where the shots are at the buildings, I believe it plays at the first one. I heard it in the other 2, and it always seemed to happen before something bad went down.
Almost like the world itself is quietly warning you.
😑 Over 70% of the planet is made up of water but the aliens won't run near the sound of waves crashing.
Maybe cuz they came from a planet that had oceans also? Or some can learn from seeing or "hearing" their friends drown when they land
Because they aren’t braindead? they probably ran to water and slashed at it for a minute and realized it can’t be dealt with so it they adapted and it becomes white noise to them
So is this a prequel to the 2018 film
0:46, my question is how tf no one noticed the alien just vibing on the wall
your telling your gonna scream " THERES AN ALIEN ON DA WALL!!!! " when you see one?
@@darealmelonthatplaysroblox "Screaming" and noticing that something exists isn't even remotely synonymous. I don't know how you got that interpretation.
@@DitlevIs dunno but i just find your question kind of dumb no offense tho
@@darealmelonthatplaysroblox Fair enough. None taken
Some Prob saw them and ran away before they jumped down
Even if no one is talking, a crowd that big is going to make noise just from walking on the ground
i remerber when seeing this scene, everything that was calming me down was the cat, but when it ran away i start to get sad and scared
I just noticed now that the Death Angel at 1:37 put a few dead bodies on top of him before leaving the place
Love that they use the sound from the mutos from godzilla 2014 for the death angles
I thought the cat would meow at the man and alert the death angel😂😂
0:09 thats the woman from saving frodo the cat
So the first full scale invasion shows people stamping to get away but the first 'A Quiet Place' made it a rule to not make sound to survive. Even though this is set in a large busy city, would they eventually come to know about this and how they obtained that rule. Or did the writers drop that idea for another direction to the previous entries?
Well, as someone else put it, a lot of people walking together does make a lot of noise even if everyone’s trying to be quiet as possible.
Right before Joseph Quinn pops up I thought the camera angle was going to show floating bodies below the water. Genuinely was scared by the jumpscare and was so happy to see Eddie! 😊
The first time I watched this I was like “You Idiots it’s too loud spread out.”
Ya know in nature all the bugs and animals of the land get quite in a heartbeat because something dangerous is nearby
What did the woman that was yelling "jonathan!" expect to happen? That he would scream back "i'm hereee"?? lmao 2:46
I mean I assume she lost her son, and her motherly instincts kicked in and she panicked
Both would get killed lmao
It was probably out of worry especially if it was her son or smtn
I mean… yeah? Her best hope at that point was to hope the numbers were big enough and that these things were distracted with someone else so she could quickly get Jonathan.
I hope those 2 little kids she saved before this scene made it out alive, they walked with the front half of the crowd after the announcement was made to move to the docks to be evacuated by boats, but we don’t see them on the boat with the man they met in the theater with his family.
The man said only 2 boats out of 12 made it to the island so they could be on the other boat or found another way out
There truly is something disturbingly unsettling about an entire city rendered silent in a matter of hours at the beginning. If only the military helicopters flying overhead from earlier gave them better instructions like avoid traveling in large groups and don’t take anything that can make a lot of noise.
why on earth would you yell "help me" to a person hiding under a car when you know that the aliens are attracted to sound?
This movie could have been better in my book .. it wasn’t what I expected it to be…it wasn’t a bad movie by no means
Honestly, the 1st movie is the only one I really enjoyed
