In the dictionary under the word awesome, it says see Justin Hayward. The man is brilliant. At 68 years old no less. I tell my daughter when she laughs at my display of emotions whenever I see or hear Justin, I only hope she finds something in her life that she loves 1 tenth as much as I love Justin and the Moodies. Oh to the lady who recorded this, I never heard this live either. It is so great to hear these songs performed.

Im coming to the conclusion that his current touring setup is the best way to hear these classic Moody Blues songs. has all the subtlety and little nuances that would be swamped by a full band sound. I'm a bass player and I miss what the bass adds, but id sacrifice that for this quality.

His "One day, Someday" resounds in my head. Mike Dawes and keyboardist / vocalist Julie Regan (?)helps complete the package. Would have gone back for a second helping if they were there another evening. Thanks for posting !!!

The rest of his musicians- what a great band to bring out this incredible singer- songwriter. When he says he sings from the heart , I believe it, and I feel it!

I saw the Moody Blues tours in 72 and in 73 supporting "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" and "The Seventh Sojourn" and unless the set lists varied, I don't recall this song was played live. The story in your eyes" was the opener, our guessing game and one more time to live were performed, but no other tunes from that album were played. To have seen them in concert with Mike Pinder- it was like seeing another band. But they still sound great!
I must have missed this tour. I just saw a PBS fundraiser and he said he hasnt played this song on tour in 45YEARS!!! I saw the Moody Blues in concert twice since 1994 or so, and their concerts are the same song for song, just the hits. I would have killed for more from Every good boy and Question of Balance, they need to do like the dead and make every concert different. Probably too late now.
+L Karamazov ...that's exactly what i was saying to some people on the MB Cruise this past week. The Dead played 5 shows this past summer and about 17 or 18 songs at each show. I think there were only 3 or 4 songs that were repeated. Surely the Moodies could brush up on a few different ones to add to the set list.

Yes , saw it outside or San Jose, did a whole show on "THE DAY" with Richard Burton narrations on some videos. Small outdoor venue. Dawning, Tuesday Afternoon, Peak Hour, Nights about 2 years ago. Justin kicks it live everytime!
