People seem to forget that Justin Hayward is a very good guitar player.
He makes it look so effortless.
There will never be another group like the Moodies.
The most underrated English band of all time.
God, yes.
It is not underrated. I love them ❤
I agree. Better than the Beatles!
@@richardmoore2124 Easy there Dicky…don’t get carried away. 🤦♂️
For me they are better than the Beatles, by a mile
The only thing better than a Moody Blues song, is another Moody Blues song. Period. Anything that can last 50 years has to be good.
OMG…How I miss the fabulous Moody Blues concerts!!! Magical music every time!!! Just perfect!! Rest in peace Ray & Graeme. 💚💚🙏🏻🌎☮️☘️
When rock music, and civilization peaked at the same time.
True
When I was fourteen, I was deeply attached to Moody Blues.
Tens of years have passed and I still find them as attractive as they used to be.
What a wonderful sentiment I feel.
No other group is like The Moody Blues. Their unique sound was not only original but actually intelligent. Their music had meaning and it stirred emotions in both men and women. Musicians come and go in life but The Moody Blues will be forever alive in our hearts.
Very well expressed!
Yes and I'm so glad to hear & see them in my lifetime !
Amen
They Found The Lost Chord!
@@franklinj1038 HAVE YOU MY DARLING ? 🙏😇👽👁👁💞🇬🇧🤗💐
❤👍😎 We won't ever see the likes of a band like the Moody Blues anytime soon.
Nothing does or ever will compare to the timeless music of the Moody Blues...the definition of a Real Band ❤❤❤
Hooray for puffy shirts! Especially when they are worn by one of the greatest rockers of ALL TIME!
The only man who can get away with them, IMHO.
There hasn't been a band this cool lately.
One of the best voices. Justin Hayward, we love you baby
Er ist wirklich der beste!
My opinion the most underrated bands ever! Their talent as composers and musicians is incredible.
Oh man do I agree with you. They were snubbed for years and not picked to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Thankfully they finally did get in. Keep on rocking. Prayers. Peace.
You are so spot on. Best band ever ever . I've always loved the moody's.❤
70m record sales… underrated?!!!!!!!
Listening on my birthday 5/24/24. Couldn't get any better!!😎✌️
WE WERE THERE11 wifes birthday and it was completely magical!!
Oh, how I love it when he has that red beast in his hands! I don't think people realize how big that Gibson is. Justin plays the hell out of it!
The Moodys are a once in a life time group! There's no comparing them with any other. I've been a big fan since the days of Go Now! Just a special band!! Thank You Moodys!!!
A true rock superstar, Justin Hayward. 'Didn't realize what a great guitar player he was?
😢there well never be another band like this
There never will ever be Music 🎶 like this w/ a Full Orchestra 🎸☝🎤🇬🇧
They have no equal
I will forever be in love with Ray Thomas
The sound track of my life.
ONLY 10 THOUSAND PEOPLE KNOW HOW INCREDIBLE THIS NIGHT WAS!!
Days of future past,.. An album with full orchestra, I bet everyone lived that day!!!
Greatest band overALL!
Complete originals. There's just not another band like them. I love the old concept albums. They paint pictures and make stories in your mind .... just like they're supposed to. I wish I had been born when they first appeared on the scene.
I still have a copy of the Album Long Distance Voyager on my wall just for the art work on the cover.
I remember opening the album "Every good boy deserves favor " for the first time a glazed at the artwork and it portrayed. The Moody's were artists in the purest form.
Just Amazing!🎵💙🎶💜💙🎶🎵💙🎵💙💜🎶🎵
This may well be one of the best rock songs ever!!
I agree, I love the Moodys, I've seen them about 8 times live!!
They are the best of the best.!!💙💙💙💙💙💙
I'm still here in 2023, Loving every moment they sing....They are you a class act!!! I love how they dress, they take pride in their appearance, just lovely!!!!!! I am listening to them in my car!!!!!! 💙💙💙💙🌟🌟🌟🌟......
Me too! Jamming hard on my acoustic and memorizing the words like I got a gig tonight!
Love the Moodys .
I'm still here in 24 still listening
Still listening to this beauty in 2024!!!! Excellent!!! 💙💙💙💙💙...
Philosophy Rock!
Seen them live twice now. Justin Hayward is a vastly underrated guitarist, songwriter, and singer. The entire band oozes PROFESSIONALISM. My daughter fell in love with Justin when she first saw him performing.
From the moment Graeme Edge stepped out of the shadows and intoned, "BREATHE DEEP the gathering gloom," and the crowd went crazy, I knew this going to be a concert like no other.
I've seen 'em at least five times since 1994. They rock my world.
Magnifique beautiful Dreams with them excellent Poète et Musiciens....merci ...merci for m'y young LiFE and old liFe .....
@@fredbenenati3430 I actually flew in an airplane - twice - to see them! (and I terrified of flying)
Great guitar work Justin and fabulous lyrics. Thank you love it! . 03/24
I love The Moody Blues. It makes me feel happy.
More than happiness their music takes us in a state of bliss !
Justin Hayward has the light within. He has wisdom. Amongst his other friends. He is blessed 🙌 😇 🎉🎉
The Moodies were a big part of my life, still are
Jh is in a different league. His voice is one of a kind. Never out of key and rarely looks at the fret board. He is a freak
Yes. The song 🎵 is so true 👍 Deep Song 🎵. What an inspiration. I think his songs are really giving a message. And I have been in my shadow self for a long time trying to overcome struggles. A new . Finding myself again.
Thank you Valerie for loving me.. ❤️
Most definitely 1 of the Top 3 bands I've seen "Live" over the years and thats well over 400 concerts
WE WERE THERE FOR THIS NIGHT OF TRUE MAGIC!!!!!
I saw them years ago live. They are fantastic!❤
I've always thought that Justin Hayward and Mike Rutherford are perhaps the two most underrated British guitarists in rock.
Legendary band....legendary musicians who understand the 'real' elements of rock n roll. Hail to the Moody Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Justin Hayward. , Main Brain behind the Moody Blues. Amazing musician
Oh my goodness, one of the best bands of all times. THIS is music!
The really fascinating thing about this group is how their music was dripping with esoteric principles, ancient wisdom, and they're basically druids. Young people need a bit more of this reverence for the unexplainable. I thank my father whole-heartedly for enlightening me at a young age and opening my mind.
One of my favorite songs of All time it's still great today
The Story in Your Eyes is my favorite Moody Blues song.
I was very fortunate to have seen them six times in total and was there at this concert at Red Rocks. It wasn't a concert but it was an experience that still gives me goose bumps when I see their videos, hear them. Can't believe that it has been nearly 32 years ago - OMG!
No matter how long ago - a class act all around, providing many fond memories and smiles. You're sadly missed, Ray and Graeme but NEVER forgotten...
The music of the Moody Blues runs the whole spectrum of emotions - joy, sadness, exhilaration, melancholy...
It takes us back, and moves us forward. Few can make that claim, and none can do it, with that kind of style. My life has not been especially good or productive, but in listening, I can take joy from events in my past, and look forward to my future, for whatever may come.
Thank you, Moody Blues...
Class all the way!!
Brilliant and genuine, love the Moody Blues 4:25
one of the top 10 concerts I was very fortunate to have attended ❤❤❤❤❤
I just took a moment and started thinking about all the Wonderful song's and the music that the Moody's have given to us over the MANY years. "Night's in White Satin"; "You're wildest dreams"; "Ride my Seesaw"; "A question of Balance"; "Lovely to see you again my friend"; "Out and In"; "the Eyes of a child"; "Driftwood"; "Candle of Life"; "Under moonshine"; "Tuesday afternoon"; ..........just a few, to be sure.
It's 1975, lights low and music blares, found it and have never lost it . Finally found out they were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame. No Better accomplished group and music. Always close my eyes and time travel back to to those days. No better band.
ONE OF THE 10 BEST NIGHTS IN MY 73 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought my first Moody Blues album in high school. They truly are the best.
Just stunning, Justin is so fine!!!! His voice bring's tear's to my eye's.. He is phenomenal, never anyone like him!!!!! They are the best group ever!!!!!! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 ... They are truly spiritual, it's just beautiful!!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀...2022..
Really wish I could have been there, but that handsome young man standing next to me in the picture was an infant and had been rushed to the ER to save his life very scary for this new mom at the time, I have always loved the Moody Blues and will always share them with all who would like!
You’re amazing
In the 90s MB toured and always hired the local orchestras to perform with them at the outdoor amphitheaters. This song is one of their great live songs live because of the orchestra. My friend since 7th grade told me years later his mom was hired to play the piano at one of these shows in north central indiana back in the 90s. Mrs Edison confirmed to me that MB were great to work with and she been a professional musician and piano teacher the time for 35 years
So Incrdible!🎶🎵💗🎀✌🇺🇲🤗☺
Saw them in 2018. So glad I went.
THE GREATEST THIS PLANET WILL EVER KNOW..
🛸🛸👽👽👽💞🌹🙏🤗🤗🤗😇😇😇🛸👽👽🛸👽💞
Ive seen the Moody Blues live.........and they are spot on .....Dont miss a lick or note...
A fan since 1965. Beautiful!
There were so many great bands ,this being one of them. You could close your eyes and before you new it the stress was gone. Love Love the Moody Blues.
All time GREAT performers! Only once in a long while does a group tell it like it is!,,👍😁
In 300 years Elton John, Clapton and the Moody Blues may be still listened to, who else?
Zeppelin and maybe the Beatles and stones
The Beatles, perhaps?
Doobie Bros. and Steely Dan.
Amazing song writing, talent and performances. The Moody Blues are truly the classiest act in Rock and Roll. The elicit from their fans the deepest of emotions, stirring memories and enthralling them with stories about love and life. To have seen these amazing performers live is a memory never forgotten. Thank you all for the beautiful music.
This is a fantastic performance as usual. There's no one like The Moody Blues.🎸🥁🎶❤️❤️❤️
For me, there is nothing better than listening to their full albums with orchestration. This clip of top songs from too early concept albums is fantastic!!! The shot of the young boy in the audience during the overture was so touching.
Red Rocks Amphitheater….. one of the best outdoor concert facilities!
I've been with this band since they started. Still one of the best.
Never got a chance to see these guys in the seventies, worked, family business, enough said. Fortunate enough to see them at a small venue in Easton Pa, State Theatre. 3 times in the mid 2000’s. Once in Bethlehem Pa, Musikfest, outdoor concert, but still a smaller venue. With my late wife, so many good memories, I believe as they aged they sounded better and better!
Outstanding!
The BEST uk band in 60s, along with Beatles and Stones. ❤ Merry Xmas!!!! 🎉
True Story. In May 2015 my wife and I had front row center tickets to see the Moody Blues in concert at Red Rocks near Denver. The night before there was a heavy snow storm and the concert was moved to an indoor arena. Our front row center seats turned into 5th row seats. Still a great concert but damn sure would have been spectacular at Red Rocks.
I was at this show, at Red Rocks. Even got caught on cam a couple of times! We were 7th row, center! One of the BEST shows I ever saw. Been a Moodies fanatic, since I first heard them, almost 55 years ago.
You were so lucky to have those seats. I was in the center in the far back. Those seats touch the stars. I had my binoculars with me.
Lucky you and lucky us to be born in this generation of kick ass music......Saw U2 there at RR
You obviously have GREAT taste.
They should have been inducted year One of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Better late than never! Love to know the reason for making them wait until 2018!
Graeme always looks like he is having the time of his life, I love it! I remember watching this as a kid!
Me acuerdo cuando conoci al MOODY BLUES se conocia como la mejor banda experimental del mundo ,ds una banda de Rock progresiva fabulsa asta estos momentos es sienpre una gran banda de Rock y es de mis prefe ridas .Victor.
One of the finest rock songs ever made! Back in the late 60 s the Moody Blues set out to find a niche in a burgeoning style called progressive rock. Soon joined by Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, ELP, King Crimson and later by Tull, Kansas, Rush and Dream Theater, among others, The Moody Blues indeed found that niche and occupied it for decades with a unique blend of haunting lyrics, gorgeous melodies, daring and technical excellence. They deserve their place in the R&R Hall of Fame!
Excellent🥰😘🎸🎶🎤
I still remember seeing them in concert back in the early 70's. A fantastic show.
Saw them twice. Once at tanglewood in the early 90s and around 2007 in Tampa. Both times were incredible. One of my favorite bands
Love it, true pioneers from the start.
These guys are great, love their music, always have wanted to see them in concert.
The Moodies and the Beatles were my heaven back then
I had the pleasure of seeing them live at the Greensboro Coliseum in NC in the late 70’s, it was a wall of sound!
My appreciation for the Moody's has grown as I've aged. They really do kick ass in their own, idiosyncratic, subversive way!
Amazing talent this band had. This is such a great song! I always loved it!
" I'll Always Love you Hayden Panettiere "
I was there that night.
This version with the symphony orchestra is awesome!
Hayward, watched this entire concert from Chesterfield, Missouri oldest baby was one year old. Great concert. Princess
Timeless masterpiece!
I was not there in person, but certainly was in spirit, on this night - the crowning glory of their career. I wore my Video tape out long ago.
