I absolutely LOVE that you insulated with Roxsul “Comfort Batt”. I’ve used the product in my home and continue to be impressed by its insulating power. Being able to cut the batts with an electric knife/any knife is also a plus. I had yet to see any van build use it, so I’m glad you guys are. But, because it’s made from stone wool, as opposed to fiber glass, it is NOT itchy on the skin. Keep up the great work!

Greetings from Sweden - Love your time lapse edits, insane daily progress and overall design style. I initially also wanted to do Rockwool but it smelt so bad - like rotten fish, (did you notice this?) I went instead for a rubber self adhesive foam alternative that is popular in Germany right now (Armaflex)! Its amazing how confident you are with a bunch of van builds behind you - each step is painfully slow for me right now but I imagine van build #2 will go twice as fast!

    QUESTION:
What do you think design wise about creating a van to be 1, a mobile office 2, a holiday van for me and my two little boys? Ideally I'd like it to be compact enough to also do the school run but that's not as important as the other two not being compromised so that's a van length issue.
During Covid, I lost my job but I have start a business called Player Profile which launches in January. I need to keep the business costs and my lifestyle low cost so the van will be my mobile office but also awesome holidays still for the boys.
I'm in England so I can't ask you to make one for me unfortunately..

I have the UK version of this van, I used an angle grinder to remove the beams. To insulate I used a closed cell foam off eBay. It came in a 5m roll and was really easy to use, that helped insulate and sound deaden, whilst reducing the space taken up to optimise bed length. Hope that helps ☺️

We did our ceiling similar to yours. But we used 1/4 inch birch plywood and screwed it to the wooden beams and instead of ripping 1x2's in half we used this thd.co/3pH9elW and brad nailed it along with wood glue and it turned out impressive. We're taking a lot of your ideas and putting them into our build. Of course any items we get from Amazon we're using your links.
