      I think in this case, measuring the intake volume of the ITR plenum and modifying the P30 as you suggested would be the ideal setup.
      Or maybe that's why the Skunk2 intake manifold for the D series has such long runners that it is practically right up against the brake prop valve on the firewall.

    long runners and short runners, which or does it affect fuel consumption? lets say on a daily driven car.

    • @SRDmotorsports
      @SRDmotorsports  2 года назад +2

      I’d choose long runners
      Mainly cuz I like big cams 😀

    • @n.shiina8798
      @n.shiina8798 2 года назад +1

      it has some effect to fuel consumption. for a daily driven car, better go with long runner since you won't be revving the engine high all the time. you'd be on low to mid-range RPM most of the time

    • @SRDmotorsports
      @SRDmotorsports  2 года назад +3

      @@n.shiina8798 yeah the effect is “usable power” u step less on the gas cuz u got torque = more efficient than “less midrange” but step on the gas more… if that makes sense

    • @n.shiina8798
      @n.shiina8798 2 года назад +1

      @@SRDmotorsports totally agree. i smirked everytime people deleted variable-length intake manifold for the sake of "high flow" ones on their modern engines. it's not only about the maximum flow!

    • @SRDmotorsports
      @SRDmotorsports  2 года назад +2

      @@n.shiina8798 so so true!!!! I wanted to say in the P75 video that yes flow is good but
      Flow quality > Flow quantity
      But some may get offended and this is not Facebook 😅
      Just like why I show dyno sheets as visual example… cuz peak power is only 1/3 of the equation but that gets the “wow” from a friend’s friend in FB 😅

    What hp gains expected from this particular port job

    • @SRDmotorsports
      @SRDmotorsports  Год назад +1

      Really hard to estimate gains like that alone as u see on the example it upgraded to CTR cams too but it’s safe to see 5-8% gains on manifold alone and more with other complimentary parts

    • @SRDmotorsports
