Chrisa Nassar well her career would've been destroyed after the cbi shutdown. cho was the only one who managed to recover his career but he had to go to the fbi academy first

Lol the FBI tracked Jane down through his letters not the shell, Abbott commenting on it was just his way of letting Lisbon know he knew she was in contact with Jane. Abbott was likely gaging whether he could get info out of her or use her to talk Jane into coming back.
Abott at this point is a jerk. I hate him. Later he becomes a better person. Lisbon is bored and she misses Jane. BUT he never stop sending letters to her. Robin Tunney acting skill is amazing.
Lisbon's "life" after Red John....was not much of a life. Two years had passed, and while she said she was happy, everything interesting about her life was gone. No chasing Red John, or investigating interesting cases. Everyone had moved on except for her. What was she doing in such an uninteresting job? It couldn't have been her only option-she bascially exiled herself. Her life was seemingly on hold for years until Jane showed up again, and bascially pulled her back into his life, more or less against her will. It was just really depressing to see her life like this..
Ironically her life after Red John is how most people choose to live their lives now. Uninteresting, uninspiring and a mediocre existence. They die and 6 months later, no one is thinking about them. Such is their lack of impact.

Omg no wonder Red John got away with his murder spree for 12 years. Lisbon literally just TOLD the FBI where Jane was. All her responses and office is full of so so many tells. She’s supposed to be good at her job but she routinely made rookie mistake after mistake. The only reason why RJ didn’t survive is bc Jane noticed her inadequacy as a leader and focused on his behaviors, like Lisbon and the CBI should’ve done after year 1. This was so illuminating as to how poor she was as a law enforcement officer. I don’t know why the FBI recruited her or her CBI colleagues tbh, as they “learned” under her. The CBI track record wasn’t particularly good.
I agree and disagree. I think no one is supposed to be a good cop here, we needed Jane in the spotlight, he was the main character, if these people were great cops why they would need Jane? After all, he also created a lot of troubles, was dramatic and loved to confuse people. We needed him to look like a genius or something so we have an excuse for the entire CBI putting up with him. But I don't think Lisbon was a bad leader, she was a wonderful leader in my opinion. Her team loved her, she understood them and cared for them, she was there to help and have their backs. What Lisbon truly wasn't is a good liar and here we can see that. Abbott doesn't ask her questions just because she was closed with Jane, but because he knows she can not lie for the life of her, he knows she will make a mistake and give them a clue. Sorry for my English, not my first language 😳
Oh please, whatever mistakes Lisbon make are typically in service of the plot rather than indicative of any flaws of hers - just like Cho confronting suspects in a crowded area and Vega getting killed doesn't say anything about Cho being incompetent, it's just that Vega was brought into the show specifically to die and advance the team and Jane's development. Lisbon is a great boss, you're just being bizarrely vitriolic.
