LJ.have you started on P40,l don't know what to buy now lm looking at Phoenix 68" ZERO,Tower Hobbies and using your set up,Talon 110. where did you get yours,and do you think smart esc 100amp is good with Talon Bigfoot,l really like your Balsa builds ,l think Balsa flys better.l haven't gave up on Hellcat

Haven’t started on P40 cause I’m in the middle of a move. A smart 100a will be great are you going 6s or 8s make sure you get a High voltage if your doing the 8s set up I have. I totally agree balsa flies way better!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Got Phoenix zero 68 "today, beautiful Bird ,lm thinking the Power set up you have will work,was it hard to get 3 blade. To work,on TACON motor,lm getting the Bigfoot 110,is it going to be a while on P40 waiting to see.really want 3 blade set up
@@brianbroady7539 Awesome can’t wait to see it, I’d like to see the cockpit detail cause Phoenix does nice detail, my hellcat didn’t have any cockpit detail lol!! +Great setup brotha. I just got the hellcat and am going gas with it. VVRC 20CC twin and am thinking of using the same prop you're using. What field are you at? Looks too green for west Texas.
Thanks Sean!! Gas would sound amazing, that prop gives it a sorta more scale appearance! Plane is super stable your gonna be super happy with this one. The field is located SW San Antonioits called Alamo Radio Control Society, we’ve gotten a ton of rain recently so field is looking great!! 👍🏼👍🏼

I like videos,that educate,and minifications are my thing in this great hobby,faster the better, sometimes power can save a plane,lim buying this or the Nexa from Motion,is it the Retracts from Motion Corsair or FMS,l think you said both in Video,lm leaning more towards ,hanger 9,l will have questions ,so please work with me Thanks, again you did and Bad ass job on Hell 😺 cat.

@@brianbroady7539 Thank you!! I’ll have to make some more videos on it, I used the FMS but the did require modification, I had to sand/carve the whole about a 1mm on each side to get them to slide in, also had to cut a notch for the retract suspension to fit in the slot and the supplied attachment for the wheel pants did not fit around the the struts I ordered so I had to cut them and grind them a bit, if you can get the recommended gear I would probably go that route, email me and I’ll send you some pictures of what I had to do, Luis.a.jimenez239@gmail.com. 👍🏼

Yup, two 4s packs. Yes it is huge right when I first got it I was like dang this might be overkill for this Hellcat 🤣

@@brianbroady7539 Hey Brian!! I sure did drill, but exactly what size I used I’m not sure. It was pretty close to the size of the screw on that Motor shaft!!
