Thanks SonicBoom, I never flew it stock so I wasn’t sure how much faster it was! I’m using my IPhone 15 and a head holder apparatus, I link it in my previous F-16 video.

@ awesome 👏🏽 man I hope they release these 90s again soon with removable wings! I’ve read good things about this with the new setup. I can attest to some of my planes already like eflite 80f16 and new f1690 fly amazing with rear cg, high pitch and mild yaw and roll. And the flaps on gyro amazing landings! And post stall movements are like some kind of fly by wire with priority 100/100/100 . Hope you get to try it soon. I’ve enjoyed your reviews

I didn’t use the recommended gear, I used trunions from the Flightline Corsair 1600mm and gear from an FMS P47 1500mm. The factory gear I had seen in person and didn’t look convincing.

@@VTOL1973 Definitely it’s amazing, best thing to compare it too is the Carbon Z T-28, but only this PC-9 with no Gyro and it’s amazing!

Did you kept that t28 motor ? With the 14.75 x 10 prop ?

@@VTOL1973 Yup I still use the T-28 motor with matching Prop. It’s a great setup plenty of power and very efficient. I do run a 100amp spektrum esc.

@@Hype_RC I’m glad to hear it! It’s my favorite foam P51 out there and I’ve had every one of those too, I’d love to see how nice it flies with a 435kv motor in it. Mines has the 360kv and that made it way better, yours has to be even more fun!

@@ljhobbylife Amazon king val 5065 435 kv motor fit right in. It was around $56 well worth it so far. Next flight I’ll do some torture testing at high throttle. Don’t think it will be a problem though

@@Hype_RC Are you using the stock prop with that motor, if so wht was the amp reading at WOT.

@@davidschnefke732 I didn’t even look. The motor specs say it’s made for 17x9 prop I bench tested and flew it as is. I haven’t flown it again because my commuter only fits 1600 size planes without removing wings and I hate pulling wings off. I just joined a new club this week so it’s setup to put planes together in comfort. So I may get some more testing soon. Also I have been trying to maiden all my planes each time I fly so I’ve got a few to go. Sorry for so little info. 70 freewing F16v3 flapperon setup maiden done. 80 Rafale, 80 f16, 90f15, twin70 Su27, 2000beaver, a few more 🤦🏾. Don’t tell my wife lol. @@Hype_RC that’s awesome! It’s such a good plane, The 1700 flies very similar but has better presence in the Air! Good Luck on your 1700 P51 Maiden.

@@M4rkmcc21 It’s those exhaust outlets, but yes it very quick and has a great sound!

@@M4rkmcc21 Both are great, the camo has a bit more elevator authority, but I have to say I enjoy flying the Eflite a bit more, maybe cause I’ve flow that a lot more.

Presence, I fly this without a gyro and I feel likes it’s more stable. I had the 1500mm and a little wind would toss it easier than this one. I also fell this one slows down better along with having more scale details.

I didn’t understand his favoring either until, I recently flew both. Night and day! Although I like the eflite. It’s a bit pricey but I’ve had good luck with up around 8mph. Definitely turned rudder past 100% throws for those cross wind landings. But, it doesn’t compare to the 1700 . The 1700 is in a different class.

No it’s just the offset of the tire the 190mm and 200mm are the length of the body.

NX series in my opinion is better option, It loads faster and is way more user friendly.

Thank you so much! Funny thing is I do use the finger method on this one. Surprisingly it only weighs between 11 and 12 pounds with battery lol so it isn’t to bad. I definitely should buy a CG machine lol.

So I did give details in my final thoughts, I talk about power system, prop and the factory CG. Rates are all by the book which were fine, we ended up using high rates with no gyro. Also I’m not promoting a product just sharing my experience, nobody sends me anything and I definitely don’t get paid. If you have any other questions I almost always reply.

Thanks! They no longer get hot ever since the fan and esc swap, nice and cool after my flights.

It was 96mph flat and level that CZ T-28 Power 60 works amazing in it!!
