    Great plane, great filming, and great flying! I came close to getting one of those...had the FMS 1400 Hellcat and loved it. Its always cool to see the generations in that family flying RC. Thanks for sharing brother John!

      Thank you so much for the kind words my friend! The Hecht family now has THREE generations currently flying as Brent's son is totally into it as well! This model, although lacking flaps, has really good lines to it, and simply flies amazing. There's just something about a built-up model, a gas engine, and an expert pilot that puts a smile on your face every time! Blue skies and happy landings to you and Heidi!

      Thanks so much LJ!! I think either way you go (gas or electric) this model is going to perform well...Grumman designed aircraft just fly so good! But yes, there's something about that gas engine sound that gets your blood pumping! Cheers brother 😎👍😁

      Hey there my friend!!! Thanks so much for checking in Jono and putting things the way only you can...glad you liked it! Indeed, gas powered models can make our hearts race, and YES, that scale flying was awesome to watch! Cheers Mate and all the best to you!

    Nice plane. How's is it to see the orientation with it being so dark? I have the Bearcat from Motion RC and had to paint invasion stripes on the bottom to help me with orientation.

    • @JustwingitRC
      @JustwingitRC  2 года назад +1

      I'll have to see if Brent can chime in here to offer his take, but from a video standpoint, I think it's actually easier to follow dark aircraft versus lighter colored models. But for sure, orientation can be a bit of an issue, except for the fact that Brent tends to cut scale lines through the air, so that does make it a bit easier to track, even from a pilot's perspective. All the best to you!

      Yep Chads vertical and horizontal stabs, built up and air foiled and fully sheeted with 1/16" balsa. I took one look at the stock tails and said no way am i using that.

    That was a really nice flight. Thumbs up to the pilot. A great looking cat from hell. :)
    Good camera work to, but I do have to say that I don't think it was JWI filming. That happy, giddy, have to say a little something, voice wasn't there.
    If it was, I hope that your recovery goes well. ;)

      Merci Jean-Pierre ! Oui en effet, comme l'avion n'a pas de volets et qu'il n'y avait pas de vent, Brent a dû refaire une tentative d'atterrissage par la droite. Ravie que cela vous ait plu, tout le meilleur à vous !
