I got this kit a couple of months ago and after about the 15th or so flight this landing gear supplied with the kit just broke no hard landings or hard ones it was strange how strut broke apart from the mount piece. Therefore removed the old ones removed the strut put in some old HSD vipers retracts and voila what a fantastic flying plane now, its got a 35 dle with a 18x10 xoar
Bunnyshooter 223 yes they are properly broken in but we cannot get it to run right on a stand on full throttle (we also have 2 of the Fg36 and those run just fine)
Bunnyshooter 223 yeah i know cooling is a big issue on these the first time we thought that we hadnt enought cooling but the seccond time we flew it with a big hole in the cowling and still didnt work...
Not sure how I feel about this new release as I'm in the finishing stages of the prior version, H9 60 size P-47 Razorback powered by a Valley View RC 20 cc gas engine. After watching the video twice I'm really disappointed in the new version. The details are sadly missing. The pilot figure looks like it was done by an anime artist, the fake radial engine looks like it was done by someone who has never seen a radial engine. I do like the more detailed cockpit and the silver paint scheme, but for the most part this is just a rehashed, economy version of the OD version. Hangar 9 you missed the mark!
And it’s gone……..like so many other H9 planes. Popcorn farts linger more than H9 arfs. Of course parts support dries up in a blink. Printed covering means any damage can’t be repaired without parts, which again no support. All you can do is fix damage the best you can, strip the printed covering and re-cover. Disposable warbirds…….💩
Very nice bird!
Wow! I wish I could replicate that sound with my electrics.

My next plane!
will the saito FG-19 R3 radial fit and fly this model? i am debating between this P-47 or the seagull P-47.
How to get the FG-21 to run that smooth? We cannot even get our FG-20s to run smooth

Bunnyshooter 223 yeah it is....

What is the actual "scale" size of this model?
Huh, well... I like it.
That music is pretty swashbuckling

I'd like to see it with a scale 4 bladed prop and electric set up.
There are parts of the video that we flew it on E-flite Power 60.
Sweet! I bet it flies great. I'm holdin out hope for a Carbon Z P47 bnf, same size as the CZ T-28!
I liked the brown scene more tho
"Functional Flaps" shows a deflected aileron and an unused flap.
