My god you need your own tv show you really have a great smooth way of talking to us you are awesome..!!
Thanks!
agree ! Good production
Agreee as well. Does
This is the first of your videos I've watched and I was thinking the same thing. Great voice-over!
I agree also....good work for sure
I just came across your channel and subscribed pretty much instantly. Seeing a brother involved with modeling truly filled me with pride. Hugely inspiring! Keep 'em coming, sir!
Another interesting vvvv- video. I look forward to you giving it a first flight.
Years ago I built 1/2 dozen kit models but never did learn to fly.
Why not learn now? It's fun. And the new foam models are great to learn. On because they survive crashes well.
Glad I this video was recommended to me. You a very soothing voice, I hope you are a professor or a doctor of some sort. I am sure you are very well respected in whatever career field you have chosen for yourself.
Man, such a perfect video, I've just built that plane and made the maiden last week... If only I'seen your video before building mine it would be easier.
I’m an fpv fanatic and I think this would be a good platform for my style of fpv
Very Low, very fast and highly manoeuvrable
This is the Channel i needed.. thank YOu!
Don't know how or why I'm here. But I know I need to buy one and hang it on the wall. Great video.
I’ve never added lead weights to any of my planes. I always move things around to get it to balance.
Great flying model site thanks. Does any modeller use tissue or linen and cellulose dope anymore. Good 1950/60’s memory there. Really appreciate the detail and clear instructions
Great video love the attention to detail! Like PBS Saturday morning, subscribed!
Excellent vid...thanks for posting.
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing… question, why do you balance CG without propeller?
Thanks!
I've lost props in flight before. Just being extra careful by adding a margin of stability.
Great video man!!!
So I’m thinking of building a hanger 9 model. How much could one expect to pay for this identical set up. Electronics and everything?
Man... Wish I was in the USA
After seeing the gas engine at the beginning I thought it would be powered that way. A little disappointed but very nice video anyway. Had a fleet of .049s when I was a kid then graduated to a much larger Enya. That engine scared me a little. We finger started them back then. Cox engines had a spring starter but it never worked right.
Surely it's time markings were vinyl, so you just rub them on and peal off the backing.
Jesus, i don't know why this was recommended to me, but i am here to stay. Clear communication, Radio Voice... the Bob Ross of Model crafting. Well done !
InfernoPS Same. No idea why the RUclips gods recommended this, or what motivated me to click, but I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Same here. This guy does a great job.
Me TOOO!! Frickin AWESOME!!!
Yup, #metoo, dunno how this got in to my feed but I liked it.
Same here. RUclips: “I think you might find this interesting...” Me: “Um, yeah!”
RUclips sent me here randomly, and I am staying
Same here
Louis A. McCaII II I can’t look away 😳
me too pretty cool
Me too
me too
You are so good at presenting this. With the “stay at home” stuff happening, you’ve made me want to get back into building models. Thank you!
good boy, do what the government tell you now
I have no intention of buying a model airplane kit but watched this start to finish. Amazing.
After randomly finding your channel, somehow you made me feel like I was a kid again, building models with a friend. Thanks, man. Keep it up! Great stuff.
This man must be protected at all costs.
lol
Probably the BEST presenter on the whole of RUclips? Clear, succinct - no waffle, no talking to the "camera person" and no jokes 10/10
I agree with Jeff. Your communication style is a gift.
I about lost it when you spotted the Knight's Cross on the piloten. LOL.
Wait, we didn't have Germans flying for us in WW2?
He might not fly it like he stole it but Hans here definitely will.
I sense a double agent pilot...good plot for a movie there.
Was hoping that the Cross would have been Dremel-ed off and the pilots "complexion", um, darkened. Anyway...subscribed!
The Knight's Cross is always an honor to be seen👍🏻
Not an RC hobbyist, but admire your technical expertise. Can listen to people who know what they are talking about. Subscribed.
So your German pilot has been shooting down Japanese plains ?
Plains...failed.
I am glad I stumbled upon this channel. Glad to see there are still people out there making this hobby happen.
Man that voice is something. Feels like listening to Bob Ross or something. If you would talk a little bit more gentle this would be a great ASMR video.
I always go with Callie Graphics...her vinyls eliminate the "clear part" in most decals and when all said and done they look painted on. I own several Hangar 9 planes. Love them but I've never used the decals that came with them. I always like using her stuff just to make mine look different from stock. You have a great channel...nicely done sir! Oh...just FYI the antenna goes the other way...it should be straight up...parallel with the canopy vertical lines.
Herr Oberleutnant “John Smith” 😹😹😹
Obergruppenführer John Smith- Man in the High Castle...
Your videos are great, so happy I found your channel!
And yet the youtube recommendations bring us together again brothers.
Good sound quality. No background noise. Thanks. Clear and concise. No extra words or music that is not needed. Good quality video production. Thank you.
I know nothing about this hobby, not sure how it showed up recommended - but I was riveted. Your passion shows. Great job.
Me too!
Like lots of others mentioned, I was brought here via RUclips suggestions. So glad that I was. You are SOOOOOO easy to listen to. I found your video very enjoyable. Thank you for your efforts!!!
WoW... was into building models only but later got into RC but I was not aware of all those tools and some complications. Thank you so much for this great video!
I discovered your channel yesterday and want to compliment you on your videos. The content is very interesting and you have a pleasant voice and way of editing and narrating. Thanks.
A huge well done from the UK. Your expert style and enjoyable presentation will encourage more people to start the hobby.
Your communication skills are SUPERB! You actually had me believing I could assemble that plane with the skill you clearly show!
Excellent job, sorry I can only like it ONCE!
Have you ever gone to the movies and the picture was so good ... you forgot you were watching a movie? I just spent 21 minutes watching a gentleman put together a model airplane and forgot i was watching a video. I could not wait to see what you were going to do next. Well done sir!
I tend to do smaller models but having watched this he has givin me the confidence with his soothing James Earl Jones voice to go big. He makes you feel 'you Got this have a go young apprentice'
Real nice build and love your calm voice and demeanor throughout. I am a fellow airplane model lover, though I have yet to build an RC, I loved U control planes when I was just a kid.
I thought maybe I could help with your issue when the decals fogged up, where I work they use large decals and use soapy water not ammonia.
You can apply most smaller decals without using water, but for large and very large stickers, this trick is a life-saver. After cleaning your surface area, wet the area again using a spray bottle and a solution of about 5% soap / 95% water. Apply the sticker while the area is still wet.
You can adjust the decal straight while wet and it will dry overnight. No probs.
Not sure why RUclips recommended this but I subscribed after 30 seconds. Hope another 2million + viewers have the same experience. Awesome
Being an ex (dance club you get where I'm coming from) DJ, I saw many people commenting on your voice it is so true, having a good clear voice is a virtue. I had many people come up to me saying, wow you don't have that ridiculous sounding voice most DJs have, I can actually understand what you're saying and it doesn't grind on my nerves.... moving on I'm not even into remote control planes but I'm in World War II, and hobbies and this is extremely calming and informative thank you
Awesome work. Simple communicative great voice. Love every part. Thanks for sharing.
Like everyone else, I was randomly sent here by RUclips, and like everyone else, I have to say that you're a natural narrator. Very smooth. I have no real interest in this sort of stuff, but I watched the whole damn thing. Lol. Kudos, man.
I think this guy is a wizard. He hypnotized us all! Same story here, never really looked at anything like this before but I cant stop watching!
I'm a model freak to. You've done a great job! sub for sure.
You're good. Very good. I have just been flying virtual warbirds for practice before the real thing and it is difficult to keep from crashing! And here you are doing it for real!
The pace, the narration, the camera work... and of course the build itself. Really great on all the things that matter. You are a multi-talented guy.
The camera work on the flight videos is fantastic
You can’t find this bird online anymore I got the last one at the local store. 😁. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. It’s going to be very helpful when I put this baby together.
You are so calming! You could be the intercom voice offering instruction at the DMV, and I would be patient for hours waiting in line.
You could give me the weight?,What engine electric did you put in it?, thanks , very nice the warbird. regards of SPANIEN. EUROPE.
I love how other people can love things like this. It really makes me happy to see people so pessionate about their hobbies. Great vid!
I don’t even care about RC planes. So why did I watch this whole thing? And why is your voice so soothing?
Love love love your narration /voice over style and gift of gab...you are the Bob Ross of model building.
Nice build, very informative. You have the voice for instructional videos. If you are not a teacher the kids missed out.
Clear, logical and informative....refreshing in today's world.
Was gladly recommended here by RUclips, enjoyed the build, can't wait to see the thing fly. Amazing to see someone very passionate about something other than computers or you tubing, or video games, good ol' fashioned airplane model building stuff.
pretty cool man, I'd love to build it but I would cry if\when I crashed it
Your voice and delivery of information is world class. Great work!~
These are the types of reviews I’ve been looking for. Great job!
Really really cool build and narration! Love your video and your sense of humor!
Wonderful heart warming stuff. Imagine building a model with this guy? Would be so much fun.
Wow; your manner of delivery. Just wow. Voice for Radio or TV narration is an understatement.
Great video, clear and concise instructions. Your voice and delivery are made for easy listening. Definitely a fan.
TOO BE HONEST, YOU NEED YOUR OWN SHOW!!! IM GLAD TO SEE A “Brother” IN THIS HOBBY! YOUR VOICE MATCHES THE SHOW!!! MAN YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!!!!! I WILL BE SUBSCRIBING TO YOUR CHANNEL!!! Everything is so detailed!!! 😎
Fell free to ring up Hollywood for me. :D
I second that, just found this great channel yesterday :)
The Bob Ross of model building, superb, subscribed.
Great work! Looks like a keeper for sure!
I'm just flabbergasted by the American addiction to Spektrum, it is so incredibly rare to watch any RC channel that isn't using Spektrum, in my country, this is nuts because I have a literal hangar full of crashed models, some of them high dollar brand new that crashed on maiden, all down to Spektrum failure or glitching and the one time I begrudgingly picked up a Spektrum to fly a BNF bird wouldn't you know it complete failure and model lost. Now if I buy anything with AS3X or SAFE from Horizon I throw the Rx in the bin. Other than the ridiculous safety record the fact that almost everyone uses it is also off-putting. Not taking away from your video, thanks for showing the model off, I think I'll get one, but I'll be flying it on Futaba.
Agreed, I lost to many planes on what I call wrektrum lol even with there dsmx or whatever its called. people always say "you didn't have your antennas orientated correctly", "or it was near carbon fiber blah blah blah. Switched over to an frsky taranis X9D Se and its been great haven't had any glitches so far but its such a higher quality radio than an equivalent spektrum better switches, gimbals, and I get 24 channels and limitless programming,to an equivalent priced spektrum 6 channel radio. Go figure
YT suggested this video for some reason and I have to say that I found it fascinating! Instant subscribe
I like the 9 better also. Happy accident
Probably the fogging of the decals was a result of ammonia they mix in to the Windex. I think if you used Joy Dishwashing soap (just a tad) and water it would have been fine.
An excellent suggestion, same as used when applying window film.
I love your personality! Keep up the good work this is one of my favorite channels! Also you have like the most clear and soothing voices
This dude made me genuinely interested in starting this hobby
Tell me you work in radio. Your voice would be perfect for it.
Your good at presenting this stuff!!
Great video I never knew there was so much setup! Subscribed!
The way you build helps us rookies feel super confident. Great video!!!! Can't wait to see her fly!!!
Im feeling this is an tv channel
REALLY nice video mate! It was recommended to me and I have to say it was a pleasure to watch and listen to! The sheer amount of care and love you put into the construction process was a delight to watch, and your soft voice is easy to listen to without feeling like I'm being screamed at. If all your videos are like this I might just stick around...
Awesome video, the perfect blend of information with none of the tedious parts. This gives me confidence to get one myself.
I've never had any intentions of getting a plane I still watched this and boy oh boy thats a ton of work before even flying you really need to know what your doing for this and then there is flying I imagine thats even harder...lol
Not my type of hobby for sure to much work to many rules.
So happy to see it's not a cheap foam china Corona aircraft!!...hate those o overpriced coffee cups!!
Yeah, but those foam egg cartons are handy for sorting small parts.
Other than that, there is no foam allowed in my workshop!
Excellent build video how have I not heard of you yet. Subscribed this is a fantastic build review. Wonderful channel look forward to seeing where this goes.
OMG!!!! Finally a legit RC hobby mentor..🙏🏾✊🏾🙌🏿I have wanted to enter the RC airplane realm for years, but scared to invest in the hobby do to lack of knowledge on brand to purchase, introduction to assembly, receiver and telemetry setup. You overall diligence in description is so appreciated 🙏🏾😁🙅🏿♂️
💖Thanks to RUclips for recommending this to me!😱💖
Awesome video! My dad flew the Hellcat off the USS Yorktown against the Japanese in 1945. It's nice to see someone keeping the memory of these amazing WWII era aircraft alive.
My great uncle flew Hellcat's off the Yorktown, then back home to train other pilots, and ended up getting blown up on the Franklin. LTJG Howard A Heyman.
Wow, another great video. Thanks man. Love the Hellcat as well. Can't go wrong with a Grumman!
An outstandingly clear and comprehensive review. I'm debating buying one of these just to have as a display/conversation piece since I can't fly RC planes worth a hill of beans, but that build looks like an absolute blast.
One of the best review and how-to vid's I've seen lately! Very well explained, clear, comprehensive, visuals and audio were great. Also nice to see how you solved the few issues you came across. Thanks, and looking fwd to seeing more!
Awesome content and personality.
Cheers from Hamilton, "Steel City," Canada.
I make WW2 fighter air combat tutorials and I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!
It's a great aeroplane, I flew mine today with a Saito 125.
I get the feeling this guy has done this before... at least once! 😂
Gah! A Shitty ARF... Great voice/diction, editing by the way...
Just NO! To Shitty ARF's where others do all the work.... Hell no
Narrator is straight out of an '80s model sport magazine video. Don't forget to thread lock your wheel collars. Balance an airplane with the prop, prop nut and spinner assembly.
