I don't agree with you saying Instacart, Postmates or Doordash can be a side job! I am disabled and to me this is the closest thing I will have as a full time job and I make plenty of money as extra income and I am very happy with these platforms as being my only job. You could very easily make this a full time job depending on your area. I don't agree with you saying Instacart is a side job it depends on your area, your personal situation it depends on a lot of thing. It 100% depends on your situation. I believe this the perfect job for a person on Disability because you can can work as little or as much as you want. This is the perfect job for me

DEE SMITH holy crap I did not read your whole 2nd post. But what you are describing is proving EXACTLY his point here. That it would be a rough ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME. As you say - you are on disability so those checks are akin to checks from someone’s full time job. Make sense? So all your work for instacart is a side gig - not your main and only source of income. And he’s not saying it can’t be done. Of course people do it. But it can be unstable and that’s not fun to have an unreliable main job.
One excellent piece of advice you give is don’t wait to long on the customer. The general rule of thumb is 5 minutes. If they are not available in that timeframe not your problem. Drop it and go. That’s how any delivery company works. The app gps verifies you were at the location and how long.
I just did my first order the other day and it wasn't too bad. Was already at the store and then dropped off the order at this apartment complex that was like right next to mine. Easiest $10 ever lol. Only thing I'm nervous about is doing the 1099 at the end of the year. I'm used to just getting a W2.
I use these bags and they are a nice size and very good: www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B071ZNFVMD?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I ordered the large size and it is a good fit for me.
He refers to the app as Ibotta. You take a photo of your receipts and if there is a coupon or a rebate for a certain product, then ibota accumulates it in your account, when you have $ 20 you can exchange the money for gift cards and even transfer it to paypal or to your bank account. Example if your instacart client buys 2 bottles of deteegente tide, you look for it in ibotta for a rebate, and suppose that ibotta has a rebate of $ 2.00 for each bottle, there you earn $ 4.00 for scanning your receipt in ibotta. And this is how you would earn money. Obviously if you put paper coupons in customer purchases you save money for the customer and instacart that if it is not good.
What technically is a instacart delivery driver required to do? pick up groceries drive to customer's house and then curb service is that good enough or take groceries to the front door?
I'm shocked that he is telling people to just leave the groceries. Spend the 15 minutes to deal with a missing customer the correct way and still get paid plus get free groceries.

I don't agree with using multiple apps other than instacart the reason being in my cause my Jeep is too old I can't afford a newer Jeep and they won't approve me, I can't afford to rent a newer Jeep either even worse I have to drive 35-45 mins away from my home to deliver for these other companies. Instacart I have on demand in my in my town and I love that I can be at home and take an order and drive to Aldi's which is most likely 1 or 2miles from my house so it works best for me. I am not able to do really do more than 1 order at a time For physical reasons. If you live in a larger town than I do then maybe do other platforms but I don't so I am Happy with the on demand income I make at the moment. I am not able to work a major physical demanding job I feel like I am making good enough money even it is small to most. I take ever on Demand order I can get and don't really care it is me and my furry kids 2 dogs and cat who thinks she is dog. I don't have a Husband or Human kids so I am happy with whatever I get. I don't worry about spending but accuracy it is more important to get the order correct than hurry though it and make mistakes. Everyone situation is different but this is what works best for me.
Yes and I think instacart skims fourty to sixty cents and calls it a tip adjustment because of replacement items. I got on the instacart chat & ask them why the shopper is charged if store is out of product. Instacart suggests the replacements. I just cant see a customer saying hmmm I am take 40 cents back. Who knows its like dealing with a invisible company.
Grind Time Live because the customer chose to tip a percentage of the total which is usually around 5 %,so when you have to replace with cheaper items or refund it effects the total
Some of this is Common sense. Some of this is irrelevant. Some of this is inconsistent. (buy a cart to save yourself over the long term / don't expect to do this as anything other than a side hustle)
Have a situation. I am ready to start working for instacart. The problem is I see new people have to get the next week's hours on Sunday morning at 9:00 am. It is impossible for me to do that that time. My Church service starts then and I play in the band. Is there another way to get hours in the beginning.

Personally, I like keeping my eggs in one basket..life is already too complicated
You can't use ibotta while doing instacart
Why not?
@@81mz2unique The shopper isn't purchasing the items (the customer is), so it would be fraud to claim you did with ibotta.
Your tips can also be taken away after the delivery
Yes and I think instacart skims fourty to sixty cents and calls it a tip adjustment because of replacement items. I got on the instacart chat & ask them why the shopper is charged if store is out of product. Instacart suggests the replacements. I just cant see a customer saying hmmm I am take 40 cents back. Who knows its like dealing with a invisible company.
Grind Time Live because the customer chose to tip a percentage of the total which is usually around 5 %,so when you have to replace with cheaper items or refund it effects the total
Do not take the receipts and put them in other apps.. you will get caught and fired!!!

Actually that is early access. Normal people only get to choose hours on wednesday. So you are given an earlier time already.
I love the hands! More ✋ s!!!!!
I gave him a leap of faith, and he keeps to his promise thank you sir ❤️
