Soccer needs to have smaller fields with less players and scores of 7-6 to get me to watch. I know im in the minority and Im ok with that. But to me its the most boring thing I have ever watched. Most baseball fans I know are not going to follow it as much anymore. The Astros and Red Sox won 3/4 World Series, there was NO justice, and MLB has essentially said nothing. MLB looks horrid.
They would not lose fans. They would gain back a lot of the fans who left during the steroid era. Not only should they be stripped of the W.S. title. But all players who won awards should be stripped of those as well.
What would be "good for baseball" would be leaving a starting pitcher in the game a little longer instead of the ridiculously predictable strategy of 110 pitches and out he comes...even pitching a no hitter. Not making the game be obsessed with how many pitches the starting pitcher has thrown during each contest, would be certainly be a step in the right direction.

Altuve was definitely wearing some sort of technological device. Makes no sense to leave the field that quick just to put on a shirt
He was just shy and had to call his wife. 🙃
Why is max bringing soccer into this? Soccer is the fastest growing sport in the USA. Man not only do I keep track of or there teams in different states, I keep track of teams of different leagues in different countries.
And I dont understand so boring to watch
george slupski yes baseball is, I agree
@@Nextraker nobody mentioned baseball, you did. I like soccer but you gotta admit watching people pass a ball back and forth for an hour and a half is boring sometimes and there are too many leagues. I usually only watch soccer during the World Cup.
Heres my major issue with soccer. You could put ME in goal with a 2-0 lead at halftime and my team would most likely win. Soccer needs to have smaller fields with less players and scores of 7-6 to get me to watch. I know im in the minority and Im ok with that. But to me its the most boring thing I have ever watched. People run up and down field and no shot on goal for 15 minutes. ZZZZZZZ
It’s only the fastest growing sport because all of the other ones are already huge, soccer is still the least liked of all the major sports by far
Stephen "We get all of that" A Smith
Typical internet sheep
Tony he’s wearing a wire .tony says take him to the back room and take care of him
"for the first time and forever everyone is going to talk about baseball"
Im pretty sure a lot of people were talking about the cubs ending that 108 year drought.
Max basically called me out lmao I’ve never watched a baseball game but for some reason paying attention to this
Why is everyone always screaming on ESPN now? Reasons I walked away years ago...
Pulling the Strings watching a specific 5:00 clip on RUclips isn’t watching ESPN, and it’s unfortunate that you need someone to help you understand that.
Make sure you take aspirin when you get a headache.
spdodger WHYYYYYY ARE YOU STILL HEREEEEE LEAVEEEEEEEEEE WILL MY SCREAMING MAKE YOU WALK AWAY ANY FASTER?
Max actually isn’t totally wrong on his theory.
Most baseball fans I know are not going to follow it as much anymore. The Astros and Red Sox won 3/4 World Series, there was NO justice, and MLB has essentially said nothing. MLB looks horrid.
@@ooo_Kim_Chi_ooo it would look bad if they did ban the players the owners would lose money what Manfred did was right.
They would not lose fans. They would gain back a lot of the fans who left during the steroid era. Not only should they be stripped of the W.S. title. But all players who won awards should be stripped of those as well.
Hey, Charly.
Boy, baseball has been interesting this week.
"Go sports" -Becky Lynch
Max, my guy, I always try to get behind but you're wrong on this one
I mean. Football and basketball is more popular.......
You know you're an unlikable team when everyone is upset that you beat the Yankees.
It's more that Yankee fans are the loudest and are faces in the media.
@@blackmanwithcomputer Now because I know mets fans who say that we got cheated
We got robbed dammit. Both by the red sox and astros. Not a good feeling man.
reg83ny not at all. Especially not that 17year. That was our year. And I knew there was no way we should have lost like that to the Sox in 18.
@@blackmanwithcomputer thank you. I mean it's not like the commissioner of the same MLB that said they wouldn't investigate the Yankees, grew up a Yankees fan in upstate NY, or that the chief of baseball operations used to manage the roided up Yankees to 4 World series wins.

Bro soccer way more exciting than watchin ad breaks and a half time show
Max Kellerman thinking this scandal "is good for baseball" is one of the all time dumbest statements on ESPN.
Exactly. You're completely correct.
I mean he’s not wrong. In terms of the integrity of the game, of course it hurts it. But it does give the MLB immense publicity. Think about how much this week alone sports shows have been discussing MLB. Like Kellerman said, during the World Series, MLB isn’t even discussed. It’s either a side discussion or ignored
He's a Yankees fan. Of course this great for him.
@@owtkvst the idea that all publicity is good publicity is a fallacy. This is not good publicity.
Contra Mundum 2.0 [Paradigm Shift] how is it a fallacy ?
"Any press is good press." That's Kellerman's argument. Gee... thanks for your amazing take on the biggest scandal to rock baseball in 20 years. You really earned your salary today.
3:20 "I HAVE A PIECE ON . .. NO!! I HAVE A PIECE ON!!!"
Jose Altuve uses buzzer to steal signs, a breakdown
max is the kinda guy that will snitch on his crew if the analytics told him to.
I’ve watched like 3 baseball games (Cubs World Series) in 10 years. I can’t name 10 current pro baseball players. I watch NFL and NBA news every day, but I’m watching this video about baseball now. Kellerman is 100% right.
Altuve has to go. I won't watch until he's gone.
Most HR commrnt ever
Good bye
Goodbye then. Im a Yankees fan but that won't happen
Human Resources good riddance!
human resources aka wahhhron judge
Max is right, it's been nice just to hear baseball on ESPN again
You can see the buzzer in his jersey at 3:33
Someone put molly on permanent load management!
Bryant Marquez thank god
A clip of Max talking and Stephen A barely saying anything for once...IM WITH IT!
These guys are talking to each other like they’re in a packed night club. They realize they have microphones right?
When he said soccer is not a consumer sport I stopped listening for fact that soccer is the most popular sport in the world, just not so much in the USA.
First Take is a U.S. show.
Strongly agree.
Everyone knows americans have short attention spans........😄
Well what can we expect, dumb wannabe rappers and basketball players aren’t going to be well rounded in their sports knowleges🤪
Max is absolutely right!
is the makeup department trying to make Max look like he's ready for burial?
Bruce Smith yeh
He should be cause all of his nonsensical takes are beaten to death
Don't jinx him. I lik max.
The 2 hardest positions in baseball:
Pitcher
Batter
Period.
He’s so mad his Yankees lost. Why would the Astros players want to expose the ‘buzzer’. Wouldn’t they know he was wearing it? Makes no sense. It’s just hurt feelings. Altuve should have sued.
He’s saying “ no mi camisa” not my shirt
I actually agree with Max. Wth
People have been saying for around 4 years now that they were cheating. The fact it took MLB this long to even look at it makes me sick. Baseball to me is a dead sport. The Dodgers and Yankees got robbed. To me the Dodgers won those championships and the MLB did nothing to the Astros but tell them to keep it under the rug and move on.
Cheating like that is disgusting. They need to be stripped of the WS title.
I do want to say that the World Series was still more watched than the NBA finals last year, and the only sporting events watched more than the World Series last year were various NFL games
Boyder6 that’s because lebron wasn’t in the finals , and no I’m not a lebron fan but that’s just facts
NBA stars have a lot more advertising and so does the nba plus nba is international
@@opsthelabel2271 also the ratings from Canada wasn't taken in to account even though the Raptors won it all
@@opsthelabel2271 I love baseball more than any other sport but the only reason for the World Series is more viewed in the states than the NBA Finals last year is because the U.S ratings were lower since the raptors were playing. Almost every household in Canada was watching the finals this year including those in California.
That’s a lie. The NBA finals avg ratings were 14.8 while the World Series was 13.9
Keeping it real. You guys don't talk about baseball. We talk about everywhere. Max is wrong for some reason ESPN doesn't talk about baseball. There is alot of things going on in baseball. Alot of great players on all teams. Records being broken all thr time. ESPN does not cover it, that doesn't mean people don't talk about it. Baseball was awesome this year. Back to back cy young in NY and you guys didnt say a peep!!!! We care, we love and we watch baseball!!! COVER IT!!!!!
NycMonster139 Exactly
So his teammates didn’t know ? Or why would they want to take his shirt off.
Not sure it would only make sense if they had a ritual of taking a guy's jersey after a walk off hit.
Suicide_King during the regular season altuve did hit some walks offs and when those happened they did strip him down in the field
Jus to remind em""DUH""
Soccer and Hockey: Am I a joke to you??
Actually People AREN'T talking about Baseball... They are talking about CHEATING!!
Mlb should come hard on Altuve and other key players for the integrity of the game perhaps ban them for life..
ray lawless The MLB already did the investigation and found nothing about the buzzard telling the players the pitches so can y’all yanks just stfu
ray lawless lol go cry about it
“La camisa no” in English that means, “the shirt (jersey) no”
Altuves words?
@@jasonmatteson9909 yes, when Altuve heads home from 3rd he says: LA CAMISA NO, spanish for NOT THE JERSEY
The only thing that will kill baseball is a bad moderator. In this case, the commissioner is killing baseball.
How many times will Altuve get beaned this season? 🤔🤔🤔
The Astros have hard throwers too....maybe not a sound strategy.
BRO I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!!
I'm not sure, it's hard to hit such a small target. 😂
Everytime hopefully
Thanks for reminding my I don't watch ESPN anymore.
As a person who only watches NBA, NFL and NHL I definitely get that more ppl are talking about the MLB more but it just kind of adds to my rationale for not liking baseball... don’t think it’s a ‘any publicity is good publicity’
Mason Rudolph gets hit the head with a helmet. Max-“not a big deal” Kansas st Kansas brawl Max “not a big deal” Astros cheat. Max “this is good for baseball”... headass
mason rudolph is a headcase
Love how he says altuve lied when he said this before the whole scandal was a thing. Edit: Jose saying his wife was unhappy
And he's shy !
Trogg And he cheats!
The way Manfred handled this was VERY bad for baseball
He said “I got a piece on! No!”
Charlie Ogonowski no he didn’t
Negative. He said “la camisa, no!”
Translation: “Not the shirt!”
Max: “ WW2 was good for Germany”
SAS: “ You’re wrong and here’s why”
