Scenes happen in different times,, So the Scene of Varys may be a Week or Two before Dany left Meeren, like when Sansa reached the Wall, the scene after it was Little finger saying that Sansa just escaped Winterfell and she's in her way to the Wall, and he reached the wall the same time, which mean he was at least 9 day before the scene before him

But GRRM remembers, the audience remembers, we know no writer but the writer who doesnt throw away character development.

Ned was lucky Jon was born with Stark's dark hair not Targaryen blonde.
Iirc Ned didn’t have a cover story for the possible blonde hair but he could have explained if baby Jon’s eyes turned from dark to violet by using the Ashara Dayne cover story - Ashara was from Valyrian stock so she had violet eyes but dark hair.
We just have to put our faiths now to the book about to be published by JRRM!! Hopefully sooner!!
He probably would have used he’s the son of Ashara Dayne who had family members with silver blonde hair and violet eyes

Truth....the bar is set for season 8 to beat them. I loved season 7 myself but only The Spoils of War really came close to beating them.

I'd agree, if "Spoils of War" didn't exist. The battle sequence at the end of that episode is by far one of the best they've done.

@@RockyMarsh09 Spoils of war was good but the main reason it doesn't come close to the likes of 3x9, 4x8, 4x9, 4x10, and even 6x9 and 6x10 is because it was completely pointless and not impactful to the plot at all. Still looked cool tho.

this has been addressed much like the books several scenes can be happening in completely different time periods. aka varys meeting in dorne could have been before jon even took back winterfell for all we know as no one south mentions the events. The showriters do it the same way grrm does. sometimes a book later you will realize somehow who died last book literally just died one day ago for another character while others are months ahead of that

In my mind, Game of Thrones the series ended here, season 6 episode 10. This was the perfect episode of the perfect show, and everything that came afterwards is just some fan fiction written by two well-meaning dudes who tried their best, but we'll get the real ending when George finally finishes his book.

The last time Ned saw Jon:

Even beyond the incredible foreshadowing, I think the most profound thing is that Ned was effectively able to come clean to Jon without dismantling the secret. He knew he probably would never see Jon again, and managed to reconcile with both Jon as well as himself.
He also told him that he would tell him who his mother was when he came back...he never came back.

everytime I watch this epidosde(yes, I've watched it several times) I just can't believe what D&D have done to an amazing show/story. Really.
Gradiva Maldonado You can’t really blame them. Even at the end of season 7, the story was still so massive. They truly wrote themselves into a corner with season 6&7. Trying to finish this story in 6 episodes was a dumb choice, and would be insanely difficult for any writer. Well I guess you can blame then for wanting to wrap the show up so quickly lol

Cersei = Has no legitimate claim to the throne, but proclaimed herself queen by force.
Daenerys = Claims to be the legitimate ruler.
The irony of it all is that unknown to them all at that point, Jon has the most legitimate claim to the Iron Throne.

Season 6 includes three of the best episodes in the entire show. Truly awesome season. Season 7 was awesome as well.
20.000 Subs with no videos If we’re going to call season 8 trash, then season 7 would be amazing haha. It obviously didn’t have the writing of the previous seasons, but it was still amazing TV without doing too many things that didn’t make sense.
Isaac Casasbuenas Only had three real gripes about Season 7. More with Season 8. And most of my Season 8 gripes are actually directed at Episodes 4-6.

Once in while I come here and watch these videos to cleanse myself off season 8 and remind myself of what a great show GOT was once. This show gave me goosebumps and made my jaw drop with the most amazing story telling ever. Seasons 1-6 will be the greatest seasons of any show ever

This is still my favorite moment in the entire series. I’ll never forget seeing that transition for the first time knowing what was to come, but still being fully excited. Plus the score is by far the best of the series as well. Unreal man. Chills still to this day
That moment when I realized how much Ned sacrificed to keep this secret, to keep Jon safe? That hit harder than any moment in GOT. That's true love.

Years after seeing this I still get chills. The King in the North!
I still get choked up at the scene revealing the baby cut directly onto Jon. The music build-up was just perfect.

Best episode ever in GOT history. The music in season 6 is the best out of them all.
If anyone has seen Code Geass, Cersei's crowning reminded me of the moment when Lelouch declared himself Emperor of Britannia, there's this victory going on but there's also a lot of evil behind it (more in GoT than in CG), the music is epic but at the same time it is dark, and same goes for the whole athmosphere of the scene. Finally, there's the chanting at the end, all of them doing it not because they believe it, but because they must. "All hail Lelouch", "Long may she reign", as the new ruler sits at the throne looking down at everyone, contemplating their victory, and there's that look of concern in Jamie's and CC's face.
The scene is really similar.

That moment in CG was so dumb that I didn't feel that evilness at all...

Lelouch committed evils for a better world, his philosophy was the means justify the ends.
Cersei just did everything for power.

***** Yeah of course, the motives were completely different, and Lelouch is more an antihero than a villain, while Cersei is slowly becoming a fully fledged villain now that she has nothing to care for in this world. Lelouch on the other hand did everything he did because he had a lot to care for in the world, mainly his sister.
Anyways, the part that I find interesting is how similar the structures of the scenes themselves are.
I'm going to miss these.
