@@malakaihernandez2235 idc if its his opinion. Im presenting 100% objective facts. Got is not a quality show. Season 8 was trash. That is not an opinion but a fact.
The music in the final scene was a great piece of music but it was so out of place for game of thrones, it sounds like leftovers from his Westworld score.
And there he always stood... protecting his queen, fighting for her... Jorah's death is one of the most hurtful and tragic ones for me. What a great and underrated character. PS: both Jorah and Theon's death were two of the saddest, but since not everyone is talking about Jorah, here I am.
It reminded me of the death of wen, the harmonica player in the episode 6 of Cowboy Bebop, "Sympathy for the devil". Wen was a boy that was a victim of an explosion of an Astral Gate near planet Earth that caused his body to stop aging and made him virtually immortal. So as to keep his condition a secret, he would kidnap older men, make them paralyzed, and pretend that they were his father or guardian. He was shot with a gem bullet by Spike Spiegel (the main character) that made him die as it provoked his accelerated aging like Melisandre here when she took her necklace off. His final words were : ""I see..I can finally die at last. I feel so heavy, but I feel...I finally feel at ease. Do you understand? Do you understand? Do you?" Beautiful.
I nearly cried with theon. He finally got the kindness and closure he truly deserved and he died honourably knowing his death. Hell even the NK killed him personally and not his wights or his white walkers killed him. In a way I guess that gives theon a badass way to die. At the hands of death itself. Jorah Mel beric lyanna did their parts too these 5 guys had the most emotional teary moments this episode.
I also think that in the end he was INSTRUMENTAL to the Night Kings demise. Without Theon bullrushing the Night King and creating a distraction I dont think Arya could have gotten as close as she did.

The silence in the bar says it all. Theon really redeemed himself over the past couple of seasons, he died trying to save his family. We saw how loyal these characters were, fighting for the ones they love. That’s all we can ask for❤️
1000% he’s the only one who acted different sides to a character. Arrogant jovial theon in s1, conflicted theon in s2 who betrays robb , reek, and then redeeming himself to return as prince theon. What an actor
You can start crying. You don't 'literally' have to start crying. Literally has no conversational value to your comment besides make you sound like a millennial moron. Well done.
I had a feeling Theon would die. He's the Neville Longbottom of GOT. He obviously had a much different journey, but seeing him grow from a weak, scaredy cat who abandoned his own sister to standing up to the army of the dead AND the Night King was such an amazing character arc of redemption, strength, bravery. I hate that we had to lose him, but he had a great death.
The only thing was why on earth did they make him carry a spear as his weapon? They made a huge deal in the first few seasons of the fact that the ironborn were the best archers in the world and Theon was no exception. Yet they game him a spear, instead of a bow and arrow? Theon had already saved Bran once before in the first season from the wildlings, by using a bow and arrow, so it would have been really poetic for him to try and save Bran with a bow and arrow again, but this time it didn't work because the night king was so much stronger than any wildling. But D&D just completely forgot about the fact Theon was meant to be an amazing archer. And just gave him a weapon that he'd never once used before, and also that make no sense because spears are next to useless on ships, which is where the ironborn do all their fighting, because they're too long for the cramped spaces of ships, which is why they use either swords or bows and arrows as weapons. So it made even less sense for Theon to use a spear.

I loved Melisandre’s death scene, it was so beautiful.
was there a reason she killed herself?
shes fulfilled her purpose.
@@Kujamon She used up all her power - she needs sacrifice to create magic, and she sacrificed herself
Do you?"
Beautiful.
Totally. It was not mentioned by many people. I think it's one of the best in this episode.

Give it up for Ramin Djawadi, the greatest soundtrack I've ever heard
Then you haven't heard much, I believe. Nothing to take away from Djawadi. Arguably the best OST from a TV Series I've ever heard.
Djawadi is definitely great, and I can't think of any TV soundtrack better than Game of Thrones, but even he doesn't come close to John Williams.
@@DariusOfPersia Part of the reason is that this is the 8th year of GoT. So more time for Djawadi to work on his music. While most Shows don't last as long. Max Richter (among many other greats), composes music for Movies and Shows. The Leftover, for instance, has a great Score.

Harsh to call him weak. He had PTSD from being tortured. He was the only character who showed the mental health aspect of all the horrible things.
Love how the simple Piano tune can really add depth to the story line.
