Go Darrell. For some reason, I'm fond of the old-school rigs vs. the new ones. I think that the addition if the fear of the rig dying makes the trip that much more exciting. I'm currently running a 1989 Isuzu Trooper as a overland rig and it is a beast. The 2.6 petrol motor is pretty weak, but she gets it done.

Jesse races GQ’s in pro competition events so the lad knows how to wheel. He’s previously featured in 24/7 with his white GQ ute comp truck that must be running a 500+hp V8 with all the trick long travel suspension, and he left the boys in a cloud of dust! 😁

Have to admit, I thought Jocko was going to run away with this one, But after Darryl stretched his neck down to the creek bed for a drink there, its been fair game.. A bit of petrol advice from the other side of the big water, check that the fuel cap is venting properly, if it can get air in the tank it will vacuum out and won't get fuel, also the fuel filter if its not getting fuel past it. intermittent ignition is most likely heat related, so could be a distributor module or pick up coil..
Not going to lie, I loved this episode, feels nice without Shauno and Graham nattering and carrying on about their gear and what we must buy. This is good old 4wding and that's why we watch 4WD 24/7.
