Agreed...but perhaps some more practice enunciating is required if I may be critical, the second half Jessie seemed a little fatigued with the dialogue, although still had a great attitude. Shauno's let us see a few behind the scenes vids where he runs through a bit of dialogue many times to get the perfect intonation for a shot, which is kinda amusing but also shows that doing this show is work and requires a bit of acting to keep the narration always crisp. Practice makes perfect I think.

Jessie is already becoming a natural. Going from beers in the shed to now, two shows, he's already nailing it! Good solid 2 episodes from jocko and Jessie. More more more👌
So what we have learnt from this is the following: 1. Jesse is the best spotter you could ask for 2. Jock's driving looks good because of Jesse's spotting
Really loving these episodes guys. So refreshing seeing the slow, technical, calculated 4wding instead of the hit it and hope approach. That and the energy of these 2 guys is excellent. I really think this new formate for the brand is going to be a winner.
I how it's expensive but I feel like a dry sump setup would do a world of favors to crazy 4x4ing like this. Also The next food challenge you guys should try is the worlds hottest burger at wellington point in brissy from the Off The Wall Diner
Cant thank you guys enough for putting these glasshouse episodes together it made me wanna subscribe again I kind of lost interest in it till watching Jesse and jocko do these episodes so good ill be enjoying spending money on making my gq patrol go better and have fun watching again thankyou!
This was the first time I had been on some proper 4x4 tracks and I am a rookie so don’t judge 😂 I was out on the tracks at Yalwal. We were just going to finish up on one of the tracks just as the sun went down. I went up a pretty steep track with some pretty decent ruts and slipped into a big one and got stuck. I had one globe that had blown earlier that morning and as we were doing the recovery the second one blew. If I had spotties and some better lighting I would have saved myself ripping my front bumper off and putting a nice dent in the rear as I finished the track with no lights 😂 it was a good excuse to tell the wife I need a bull bar though
Jesse is the man when it comes to spotting and I've been in need of a decent set of lights for a long time, night time driving requires great set of lights
Jock and Jessie who would have known this combo would be even better than we imagined. Great technical driving, masterclass spotting, difficult tracks and very entertaining fellas. Showed the ability of the Lux and how a stock GQ can be just as capable to drive these tracks. Helps to have the skills of Jessie behind the wheel of Daryl. Got to do the eating challenges of Australia when you guys do another episode
Some of the best wheeling I’ve seen for a while, really enjoy seeing the local tracks being done, just showing what people can do in there own backyard for a weekend escape from the daily grind
Love who Jesse drives and how confident he is behind the wheel The time I needed a set of big red LEDS was when I was out bush with my courier bogged waiting for a mate
Thank you for posting this great content. I am having a rough time right now and these are a great distraction to get my stuff in order. You posted a big trip when I got COVID that helped me. more than a show to me I guess
definlty a time when a good pair of spotties would come in handy is when i shot a deer and it was going dark and we new it was close but we could not spot it until my dog found it then we needed to try and get the meet off in the rain with our phone lights and it took ages and it was frezzing and some good lights would of made it soo much easier but good video boys
Was stuck on Fraser Island a few moons back trying to beat the tide in an MQ patrol, black as and could t see shit!! No spotties and lights were crap!!cheers for the new content boys
Kickass episode fellas !!! The time I definitely could have used some spotty's, was the day I bought my '94 80 series Blue Marlin. I just pick the 80 up about a month ago, and I was driving it home at night, the headlights worked ok, but honestly a couple of candles would be better. As soon as I flicked high beam on, the lights would turn off completely ! They would only work if I held light switch on manually......which is how I made it home.....there were definitely some brown pants moments
One of the best episodes yet! Some really serious wheeling being done here. Great to see the boys giving a red hot go. I wish I had some spotlights on my n70, was at my uncles farm hunting one night in the car with just a handheld spotlight out the window. Made things a real challenge!
Ok, after a few wobbly pops, up here in my off grid hide-a-way in the mountains of BC Canada, I have to say that I always get a smile from watching you guys attempting to do what I have to do every weekend just to get home and back to work on Mondays. ( OK, not quite as challenging, but it hasn't snowed yet...) I probably don't qualify for the prizes but I don't really care, I always enjoy watching your adventures in a land I'll probably never get to be in.
Spotties used when we were stuck at 7500ft above sea level in the mountains with a storm inbound and only a dirt path to get down. Day was 18hrs long after lots of issues and we came out nearly by candlelight because our spotties were junk. Luv your vids gents
The Spotting was Spot On! Mad Video Great driving Lads. Thinking seriously of Upgrading My 80 with reduction gears. The weather events we have had are phenomenal.. 1kG Donut! LMAO! 100% The Camera Crew Should be challenged to Hit the 1KG Sausage Roll Lets Go!.. Big Cheers for the Content. (You guys should do a video on the Camera car! )
Driving home one night in a winter storm in good old Idaho USA. Saw multiple cars who had gotten stuck off the side of the road. Was very fortunate to have a capable vehicle that can handle it's own, however, it being a new vehicle to me I had yet (and still have not got the chance to) put some spots on the vehicle. I spent a good 3 hours with a flash light in my mouth and my friends hands as I tried to get vehicles towed out. Rescue could have been down in closer to half that time had we been able to see better. Number 1 priority before winter hits this year is be prepared to help others this go around, and not put myself in danger in the process!!!
Some of the best wheeling on this channel ever! I'd like to see a lot more of the hardcore, technical wheeling in Australia. This is the kind of stuff I do. The trails in this episode are the closest I've seen in Australia to what they're like here in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. You just need some rain or snow and more tree roots to climb.
Love this little series. Love seeing Daryl !! I am need of a good set of spotties for weekend getaways out in bundy region, and the camp lights would work wonders with my little boys when we’re out bush.
New drinking game. Skull ya beer when Jocko says 100%!! And take a shot when anyone says, 'How good is this/that!!. Love the new content; keep it coming......
Some good quality lights would have come in handy when my mate got his rig stuck in a wash up for 4 hours on a track with no service, with the sun gone down and the first big storm of the season coming down on top of us. My triton ended up pulling his “mighty GQ” out after a number of attempts and further problems occurring. Fairly stock rigs, no lockers, standard headlights, storms and washouts don’t mix, had a blast tho. Great episode fellas.
a set of spots could have helped me on a recent night run, I left camp alone to collect firewood in my SJ and didn't see a massive pond, got stuck, blew my front prop shaft and got loads of mud through the windows all over my sleeping gear, got back eventually haha. All part of the fun! keep up the rad driving guys
I was in a 2wd ford ranger and had to pull a full size jeep Cherokee[ the old style] out of a deep water crossing at night after he fell through the ice. all I had was headlights and a high lift jack and some straps. I had to put the front bumper on tree because my little 2 door ranger was just sliding into the puddle with every crank of the farm jack. three hours latter and we got him out. great fun I miss that little truck. that would be a good episode all the trucks from the past you had to get rid of but wish you still had.
3 things... First of all ~ Jocko and Jessie driving like true legends!!! Secondly ~ I absolutely love the Luxxie mate ~ what a dream rig!! And finally ~ My Pajero seriously lacks light and the spotties I currently have... only one is still working... The other day I drove a muddy track and well I was on the track looking at the scenery and the next moment I was in the scenery lookin at the track... what I'm trying to say is... my 2004 pajero needs a bit more light... 😏😏😏😏
Great ride there guys putting them wagons to the test Was surprised to see that you had no diff or sump guards especially when riding them rocks !! BRAVE BOYS .. VERY BRAVE !!
Good aye you good people. A time I needed some spotlights was when I went down to recover my mate at the beach. When I got there he was boged to the chassis he didn’t have any lights just the parking lights. Which were a bummer and my lights were dull as. I got down there at 10oclock in the pm and we got out at 5 In the morning. We could not see a thing. We didn’t take any vids because we were so busy. Thanks for reaching boys cheers 🍻
During night runs on the beach it would be great to have more than stock lights on the 120 prado. It's amazing how the sand just seems to suck the light away! Great video lads! Keep it up.
As always guys entertaining and informative. I live in WA and try to get out there as often as I can. One of my more interesting trips was travelling the coastal tracks north of Jurien Bay. Due to some rather unfortunate luck we had found ourselves still on the tracks way after sun set. Managed to destroy a tyre or two on some limestone cap rock and an unfortunate run in with some local wildlife had delayed us significantly. Anyway back on the tracks and it was very dark and we were trying to remember where our camp was. In the dark and with only high beam on my old GU the terrain looked very different. We missed a couple of turn off's and were trundling along thinking we were not far off when all of a sudden the bush gave way to the Indian Ocean! I mean we were three feet from driving of the edge of a limestone cliff. If we had have had decent lights we may not have gotten so easily lost. Come day break, yep we stayed there, we realised we were only 1km from camp! So close yet so far.
last year i was wheeling my disco and might have hit a climb a bit to hard are the the lights head lights dies! luckily i had a light bar to get me out safe and found the loose wire to turn the average head lights on again. ive recently upgraded to a n80 hilux and the trade in took all of my add-ons so hopefully i can get a pair of spotys to keep the new build going. thanks for the content lads! loving the techy driving!
Love the content guys. Nice seeing more of Jessie on the channel. I desperately needed a set of spotties when an easy day trip in neerim south turned into the track from hell and was stuck until midnight. Keep up the good work 👍
Loving these episodes with Jocko and Jesse! I was out a Baho with a mate couple months ago. My mate has launched it up a hill. I’ve gone next, up over the water way, then try get over the top the hill and front left tyre slipped into a wombat hole. Go to back down the hill sliding the whole way and bottomed out on the waterway. So gave the patrol some jandal and made it through the hole up and over the slippery clay hill. Some good lights would’ve been good to help see the hole in the first place😂
Bloody hell fellas another great trip. Iv just set up a new rig for my son and I to go on adventures but the lights are as bright as pissed on candles this kit would help us out no end. As always love your work and we hope you can help us out tricking up our new rig!
Awesome to see you both having such a great time, Jessie is a great addition to the channel Could have really used some spotties on my way back from the sandy Cape after spending a little too long having a look around at all the beautiful sites.
Big Red Lights would have been handy on the front of my GQ which only had the original candle like sealed beams. One time I was meeting a mate at a camp-site in Jenolan state forest and coming in quite late at about 10pm. Navigation down a long slippery decent in dark was no fun with the wife and 2 little ones with me. By the way great spotting and driving from both Jock and Jesse. You guys make a great team.
Spotties would of been a great choice when I was taking Dads DI for a night drive and came head to head (literally) with a brumby 😅 Safe to say, Car: 1/2 | Horse: 0
Really enjoyed these past couple episodes with Jock and Jesse. They clearly are skilled drivers. Excited to see more from the pair of them! I’m with Jock on the driving though - I prefer to go slow and controlled.
I think Jessie should have Daryl because of how much effort he's put in to it I reckon Daryl and the pony should do 1000 dollar track in Tasmania next and guys keep up the good work you guys rock
Some big red lights would be great. One time i remember needing some better lights was back 10 years ago heading from central queensland to cobar NSW for the cliffhanger 4wd challenge, night driving and the further south we got the thicker the roos got. The old halogen spotties didnt quite cut the mustard. Cheers for another good episode of wheelin.
Wish I had a spotter like Jessie, I was driving through some old tracks with my dad when I first got my ln106. Long story short my left tire slipped into a rut and my locker went half out of lock and I was diffed out at the front with my right rear tire about a metre in the air. A good set of work lights and spotties would've gone along way as we used phone lights to dig out, a 7 o'clock trip turned to a 10pm trip real quick without any lights to see for digging and to navigate the rest of the track
I just had to finish morbid trail in Coffs Harbour late and night due to getting stuck due to the weather. Big red lighting would of been awesome and helped the recovery situation
Jock and Jessie make a great team. I really like how they spot each other. Actually I could do with some gnarly spotties cos the candles I got up the front barely attract the moths let alone provide much lumens out in the middle of nowhere.
With these two behind the wheel and spotting each other, I'm sure they could drive anything. A set of spotties would of been handy on the patrol coming down the dirt road before turning into my driveway and hitting old skippy on the front driver's quarter panel
Set of spotties would have been mint when I was out with my dad checking the farm at night and as we were cruising we fell into a massive bullhole that seemed to come out of no where. The Big Red lights would look mint infront of the 4jj1
I could definitely use some spotties and a lightbar! Just a few nights ago I was trying to get down out of the mountains near my home on a trail that was really washed out from excessive rain. It has become a lot more technical as more dirt washed away over the last few years. With my fog lights and head lights, I couldn’t see down the trail very far but I had driven it several months ago and thought I should be ok. Had I been able to see a just a little further, I would’ve taken a different trail altogether. Instead, I worked my way down the trail about 60 yards and found myself teetering from 2 wheels to 3 wheels as my rear passenger tire lifted and I found myself at a gnarly angle staring down a wash out my driver window that dropped off down into the darkness several hundred feet below. The trail had partially washed out and I couldn't get my truck through without tipping. I ended up making it down safely and thought the truck was miraculously unscathed despite the technical drive I had to make backwards to get back up the trail so I could find an alternate route down. I didn’t stop to check my truck when I got back to the pavement (stupid mistake) and wondered why my blind spot monitor kept going off on my drive home when there weren't any cars near me. It wasn’t until I pulled back into my driveway and got out that I saw have my bumper dangling in two pieces just above the ground by the truck’s wiring. They don't make 'em like they used to! Everything is plastic now! I must’ve caught a rock or something as I was backing up the trail. I managed to zip tie it back together (sort of) in the dark and my wife hasn’t seen it yet 😬 but I think I’m going to have to upgrade the back bumper to a metal one sooner than I thought.🤦♂ I’d love a pair of spotties and especially that light bar up top to help keep my truck in one piece when I’m trying to get home next time.
Another great episode. Me and a mate were doing a night run in the Watagans, not sure which track it was, but we could have done with those awesome spotties on his car so when we got my Hilux stuck and snatched it back out of the bog we might have realised I had ripped off the bashplate and turned it into a big mud anchor, no wonder I was so stuck! 🤦♂️
My old spotlights decided too cut the mustard while I was in middle of New Zealand winter ❄️ while going too recover my mate /brother in law at 2:30ish 3 am in the morning from a very dodgy track which he contacted me too say he was stuck. ("Hey mate what you up too ...me " Asleep". - can you come get us out " ) was a 3 hour trip up a mountain climb with rock steps etc ..Fiance hated it but didn't want me too do the trip alone 🤣😂.. was still a nice unexpected wheeling trip . Love your videos guys keep it up
I used to work at an underground mine on the FNQ tablelands west of Cairns, After nightshift at the end of the swing it was always scary just before sun up, a good spot light package would have stopped a lot of underpants soilings lol, Cheers Pete
What a drive boys! That was a mental trip. Wait till you guys get a load of this… A few moons ago my partner and I went to visit some family for the holidays and I decided to take the rig (just in case 😅). One of the nights we decided to go explore and were on the back roads out in the country looking for some trails. We were driving down a newly paved road (no lines or reflectors yet) in the pitch black and I had the high beams on which are just about as bright as a pair of candles. A couple miles after turning onto the road we start a quick climb when OUT OF NO WHERE the road dips down! We were in the air for what felt like an hour! (or long enough for me to think about how much this might cost to fix when we land!) I had never caught air in a vehicle before and especially not when I’m not expecting it. Fortunately the road wasn’t as steep going back down the hill as it was going up the hill so we were able to safely come to a stop after touching down. After getting back and telling the family what happened, everyone burst out laughing. As it turns out, the road is a popular spot for the local teenagers and is nicknamed “rollercoaster road.” Lesson learned! Don’t go hauling ass down dark unfamiliar roads in the middle of the night without a good set of spottys 😂
love the show!! set of spotties wouldof helped in that exact spot jessie had a lie down, glassy night run with candle headlights up palm tree, layed my chopped 105 in the same spot , lucky my barwork and tray held me from doing panel damage, none the less a fun angle, slammed the old girl in reverse and sent it back out with about 6 foot of air under the back wheel
Took my old TB patrol up Bago Bluff around Wauchope for a midnight session. Got half way up a very steep and technical rock climb when both of my head lights (only 2 lights on the car) blew at the same time. Had to navigate over 2 hours to Finnish the 100m hill climb using only phone torches…. Then drove all the way home with no lights and 2 iPhones cable tied around the front of the grill.
Love the drive lads!! I could’ve done with a decent set of spotties a couple months back when a big old skip popped out of the bush and took out my drivers guard and door
Love seeing you two fellas in an ep together !!! CAN STEER !!! A good set of driving lights would of been idol on my old N60 lux coming home from picking it up. The old heligen headlights weren’t their strong point that’s for sure
If I ever go to Australia, I will look for y’all and get y’all some beers! I love your content and personalities. And how you don’t have $100k accessories to make a run. Great stuff y’all from 🇺🇸
Great to see Jessie coming into his own and getting comfortable in front of the camera. It’s not easy, great job gents!

@@lovemud well I spotted my cousins power wheels up a cement curb, Jesse has made a good start but he is no where near me mate

Mate never had a spotter like Jessie getting me some tight spots and that’s is why I would love a set of new lights from Big Red. Awesome series guys.
Jocks mid donut exercises are awesome. Laughed so hard.
seen Graham cruising down the freeway yesterday.. that patrol looks bloody good.. can't wait for the next big episode with all the crew 👍
Great to see Jocko and Jesse together! They make a great team!
Love having these two together!!!! Love the content boys. Cheers, From Vic 🇦🇺🍻
Bloody hell fellas another great trip. Iv just set up a new rig for my son and I to go on adventures but the lights are as bright as pissed on candles this kit would help us out no end. As always love your work and we hope you can help us out tricking up our new rig!
Awesome to see you both having such a great time, Jessie is a great addition to the channel
Could have really used some spotties on my way back from the sandy Cape after spending a little too long having a look around at all the beautiful sites.
Spotties would of been a great choice when I was taking Dads DI for a night drive and came head to head (literally) with a brumby 😅 Safe to say, Car: 1/2 | Horse: 0
omg that’s really funny!!
That’s crazy! Spotties would’ve been super handy in that situation!
Great vid guys! Definitely need some of those BigRed spotties driving in the NT in the middle of the wet season - horizontal rain, roos and buff! 🐃
I managed to zip tie it back together (sort of) in the dark and my wife hasn’t seen it yet 😬 but I think I’m going to have to upgrade the back bumper to a metal one sooner than I thought.🤦♂
I’d love a pair of spotties and especially that light bar up top to help keep my truck in one piece when I’m trying to get home next time.
Love seeing these old rigs, awesome trip
Another great episode. Me and a mate were doing a night run in the Watagans, not sure which track it was, but we could have done with those awesome spotties on his car so when we got my Hilux stuck and snatched it back out of the bog we might have realised I had ripped off the bashplate and turned it into a big mud anchor, no wonder I was so stuck! 🤦♂️
Them spotlights would of be helpful when i was driving though the Scottish Highlands at night, keep up the great work
My old spotlights decided too cut the mustard while I was in middle of New Zealand winter ❄️ while going too recover my mate /brother in law at 2:30ish 3 am in the morning from a very dodgy track which he contacted me too say he was stuck. ("Hey mate what you up too ...me " Asleep". - can you come get us out " ) was a 3 hour trip up a mountain climb with rock steps etc ..Fiance hated it but didn't want me too do the trip alone 🤣😂.. was still a nice unexpected wheeling trip .
Love your videos guys keep it up
Loving all the technical driving content you two are putting out.
Great Spotting boys… Pro’s of spotting 😊❤
Spotties would have been good on a trip on the Wild West cost of Tasmania in dead of winter definitely need more videos like this
I used to work at an underground mine on the FNQ tablelands west of Cairns, After nightshift at the end of the swing it was always scary just before sun up, a good spot light package would have stopped a lot of underpants soilings lol, Cheers Pete
Would love to watch jock and Jesse doing winch challenge competitions. Be a dream team.
Love the more technical driving, you two make it look easy😁
What a drive boys! That was a mental trip.
Wait till you guys get a load of this…
A few moons ago my partner and I went to visit some family for the holidays and I decided to take the rig (just in case 😅).
Oh yeah funny story oh what a corker dude, that was some crazy ride. "rollercoaster road" hahahaha oh yeah now there is a lesson.
love the show!! set of spotties wouldof helped in that exact spot jessie had a lie down, glassy night run with candle headlights up palm tree, layed my chopped 105 in the same spot , lucky my barwork and tray held me from doing panel damage, none the less a fun angle, slammed the old girl in reverse and sent it back out with about 6 foot of air under the back wheel
This is exactly what I needed today! More J&J adventures please! 🙏🤞
I find your format better than the other lads. keep up the fun guys hope to see you out there
Best 4wd/247 ive watched in a while, keep it it
Took my old TB patrol up Bago Bluff around Wauchope for a midnight session.
I really love seeing these lads have a go. cheers all!
Thanx fellas 👍
This is exactly what I wanna be watching right now 🍺😎🤘
Best episode ever ! Great to watch these guys wheeling together
If I ever go to Australia, I will look for y’all and get y’all some beers! I love your content and personalities. And how you don’t have $100k accessories to make a run. Great stuff y’all from 🇺🇸
Great to see a bro-ship coming together so well fantastic effort guys!
Spotties are used everytime here in NZ for night runs..my favourite! You guys need to come over here!!
