This episode is full of great quotes for 4WD 24-7 T-shirts like "Roll it, don't stall it", "It feels wrong, but you gotta do it", "You can't be wrong twice in a row", "We're in this together", "He's hitting trees, he's excited", and "Tell him to back down and have a REAL GO".
Rev It And Dump It 😅
loved seeing the defender in action, would love to see more landys making an appearance
I've always wondered their opinion on an oldschool D1 or D2
@@fsantaca same here, personally it'd be a d1 200tdi, far to much can go wrong with with the d2/td5 engine
Reckon that defenders a 300tdi?
@@ethanvandever6399 sounded like it and smoke like it lol
Now imagine a defender with a proper driver in it. (No offense to the guy, we all have to start somewhere)
Jesse's very precise instructions to Tony on driving his GQ shows exactly how well he knows those trucks. "Just rev it up and step off the clutch like a diving board" is probably the clearest thing he could have said to get him in the right mindset to commit to the drive.
When will we see the comp truck out again or did it fund a shed and hoist?
Not if you have any inkling of mechanical sympathy and risk breaking a component - and then compounding the recovery, just like trying to drive on front drive in a car that is known to have weak front drive components.
@@trickster8635 like there was any other viable alternatives at that point. The GQ was clearly set up to take that amount of abuse and is a proven reliable platform with those mods. Not like it's on 37s punching out 300hp and 1000nm...
gqs are just about the toughest japanese 4wd out@@trickster8635
Nissan
@@trickster8635 spoken like someone that has never driven a nissan GQ/GU
Tony is an absolute legend, every trip needs someone that just sends it on the hardest tracks
Good to finally see a Landy on the show, need to see more of that thing!
Its been a long time coming aye!
Jts solutions had a defender and has been on the show with shuan and Graham heaps of times
@@4WD247I wanna see a lil nugget of a D22 in a budget build. Let's see some torsion bar sillyness
Hell yeah, can’t wait until it breaks down!
@@BFT88shouldn't do, landys are built tough. Reliability ain't as good as toyota but hell a proper defender with an experienced driver would slap about a Toyota offroad😂
Finally more Land Rover content. Brilliant
As a UK Pom it's great to see a Landy doing some hard Aussie tracks. We have some fun tracks in Wales but nothing like you guys have.
Our tracks are rubbish. Yet to find anything that cant be done in a bone standard discovery
Australia and NZ have some wild yet beautiful tracks. We're very lucky over here.
@@jackp-j1041 Indeed, all the good ones are gone now. If you want adventure we have to drive to Morocco now.
@@cameronwood1994 Real shame, it makes 4WDing so needlessly expensive. Its thousands just in fuel to go all the way down there, and the ferries, and then youve got to know where to look for them...
Its very nice to see you loving your home tracks and at the same time giving us yanks our props for our great four wheeling. Thanks boys for a great vid. Cant wait for Moab. And for the next vid. Frazier Island! Epic!. Been there so many times with you guys. Think I need to bring my Swag!
Mint seeing a Landy on the channel and that the Glasshouse still provides mint adventures.👍🏻
piggybacking your top comment, hopefully the landy fans see this and can answer ✌
how do the defender utes(?) fare at higher kms? there's quite a few for sale near me ranging from 170k to 250k, all appear to be fairly kitted and definitely appear to have been used offroading
G'day Boy's some extreme wheel'n go'n on there 🤙 i reckon we'd wack the bushwacka gear on our big 200 and head off to Tasmania !! Bay of fires and beyond 🤙🤙
@@SuperRandykid 170k to 250k is nothing, aslong as its has good maintenance itll go forever, Keep on top maintenance too, Check for Rust! Easy fix but check doors and footwells
the td5 motor tends to crack heads between 250k to 300k mines got about 330k on it and have done the head . I believe AMC heads made in spain are better than the land rover ones other than that they are grate trucks @@SuperRandykid
G'day boys mint wheeling I would wack the bushwacka gear on my gq before I do my first trip around Australia next yeah keep it up love this show.
Definitly loving the defender! need the keys to another!
So good to see a Landy on an Aussie channel. Front lockers please, let her shine.
I've been watching you guys for ages now but it still surprises how crazy you actually are. Tonight's episode is completely insane.
If I could have any of the rigs on this trip I'd choose the D-Max. I'm always impressed at where Graham, Jock and now Jesse can get with a tourer on small tyres.
Shauno is such a good guy. I would love to host him for some Pennsylvania tracks!
Awesome episode guys, good to see some Aussie content again! If I had that set up I would load up and head straight to the gulf country for a fishing trip🤙Keep up the good work
Great Chanel lads, me and my sons love watching your adventures. Love the positivity no matter what happens. You guys are setting a great example for the younger viewers. If we have a chance to set up the Bushwakka awning on the ranger we would love to head out to Wadbilliga National Park and explore the sapphire coast. Keep up the good work!!
This is ridiculous with these vehicles, but I'm impressed. Well done boys.
Love that GQ 💪would use the bushwakka gear down on the Mitchell river FNQ
Amazing to see you guys showing off some of the practical Snatch gear, (chairs, kitchen etc), all look like really great products 👍
Wow! These episodes just get better! I cant seem to keep track and order of them, perhaps the next episode link or name in the description? Tony is a legend btw! Its the beard that makes him king! 😂😂
Massive fan of you guys! That gq td42 is an absolute weapon, I would take that setup to vic high country 👍
30 seconds in and it feels like shauno puts one on its side every 3rd episode haha can’t wait for this one legends
Finally some Land Rover content!!😍😍😍 Makes it even better!
Great to see the Land Rover Defender in the mix.
Parts to you on the track same day that night !!! Can we please say this is freaking gloriously awesome. Nothing like that available almost anywhere in the states. Those blokes are absolute champs and legends for making those trackside repairs possible. Just WOW. Cheers to you all and them. That awning and swag would tour all over Costa Rica with me!
Great to finally see a landy on your show great content cheers
Absolutely loving the defender 130. My next build after the comp spec gq will be a single cab 110 with twin locked GU front and rear diffs with re4 auto and Isuzu 4jj1 running some juicy engine mods. Absolutely can't wait
Great episode, as a 200 series owner, I feel for Liam, but great bush/city repairs, gives us cruiser owners hope. As for the Bushwakka set up, the glass house mountains for me.
Fun episode guys, and good to see a new rig or two to spread the wheeling love. The Bushwakka awning and swag would be a great addition to an under-used Subaru Forester, in which I’d head for the hills of the Grampians, a spot I haven’t seen since my cub-scout days. Cheers.
It seems like it would be a good idea to put weaker cv axles in the 200 as those are easier to replace, and lighter to stock more cvs
The stuff you guys do is incredible. The average joe blogs would sh*t their pants sitting in the passenger seat !! haha. Have you ever thought of popping over the ditch and doing some NZ tracks?
You could show them some tracks mate!
Love watching Sooty on the tracks 😊 any episode with Shauno, Jesse and Jock are always off tap 😊
Tony’s a legend wheeling the GQ like a boss - for what it’s worth I’d be taking that awning & swag straight to the Victorian high country 🔥
It amazes me how small a tire y'all run down under. In America grocery getters run 33's. Hahaha... But man would I LOVE to run some trails in Australia. ❤
The law enforcement officers like to ping the 4x4s that are sporting anything larger than a legally allowed tyre or engineering approved for it which isn't cheap for most younger enthusiasts who just wanna go 4x4ing on weekends
Australia despite its toughness is governed by a nanny state of politics, 1 law and 1 fine per square metre. 35's are the best you are allowed and no overhang from the guard whatsoever.
@@buryitdeep 37's here in Tassie.
Great video guys! Always a good watch, just wanted to point out that you can't generalize USA wheeling to just the West Coast. There are thousands of miles between where you were and the east coast tracks, and a very different climate. The southeast I suspect will be more similar to what you're used to, smaller rock steps than out West but very muddy. The Northwest is also very muddy and wet be sure to check out both in your next USA trip!
What a ripper of an episode, being from the UK it’s so good to see a defender on the tracks in Oz! I may be a Hilux driver myself but I think we all have a soft spot for a defender and would love to own one, what a rig she is👌
Loved this episode crew !!! Always has me on the edge of my seat and laughing so hard at all the crazy things you guys say and do. I would go sooty for sure !!!
Whatever Jesse says do the opposite
My best mates name is jesse and i can confirm this statement 😂
Love the work you guys do never fail to show us that our own back yard never fails to impress, if I had the awning and new swag I’d definitely head out to Fraser Island as I’ve never been before 🤙🤙
Awesome video as always 4WD 24/7 Crew. Glasshouse is one epic track can't wait for the next adventure to Fraser Island for the looks of it. It's going to be one epic and insane trip.
26:19 asks which rig i'd want the keys to but doesnt mention the mighty GQ....?
i'd want that nissan😂😂
GQ all day.I’m not brand oriented but a blind man would realise that the gq in this convoy is tougher more reliable and definitely more capable than the rest
Lol
Absolutely love watching you guys every weekend, it definitely gets the blood pumping and I'm frothing over that Bushwakka setup , it would be perfect for us beach or bush camping around Broome and the Dampier Peninsular, coz that's where we live, BRING IT ON!
If I had that set up I'd be taking it on my many trips in the Canadian backcountry roads that lead me throughout BC. They are never ending and the weather can change on a dime. Thanks for all the great adventures via you bloody beeeauties.
Look I’ll be honest, that patrol of Tony’s would be so good to drive 🤤
And that bushwacka set up, would definitely take that up to cape York when I finally get the chance to go up there
I see on one of the moab rescue channels where they shorted a welding rod to the broken stub of a CV in the diff just pulled it out. Another great episode. I just love to watch 😅
Love the Bushwakka set up ..!
I wouldn’t take it anywhere I’d take it everywhere.!!😂
Great episode Boys love to see graham in his y62 wheelin these tracks, if I had the bushwakka setup I would hit the vic high country and take the family on an exciting trip through some epic scenic tracks.
Enjoying all the great content guys. My daughter and I are loving the videos.
The Bushwakka awning and swag would be fantastic for our 4 month trip around Oz next year. It would allow us to get out and explore without the van.
Thanks guys.
Lads! Great video, always amazing to watch, can’t get enough of 4WD247
If I had the Bushwakka setup, would love to take it up to the Kimberly’s and explore all through there and visit all the remote communities.
Thanks boys!
Awesome episode guy love having Jessie on the channel, he is such an asset to the channel.if i had that setup on my rig i would go out to Cameron's corner.keep up the great work.
Just recently started watching you and am absolutely loving the adventures! If I had the bushwakka set up I would love to take my first adventure up to palm creek
Great episode guys, love some glasshouse wheeling. .if I had that set up it be coming up the Cape and out to the Finke desert races next year. .
Great to finally see a Land Rover on the channel!
Awesome seeing a Land Rover back on the channel. Looked awesome.
Some absolute wild drives, looked like great fun out there!
Awesome video gents. If I had that Bushwakka gear on my 4x4 I'd be hitting Kosciuszko National Park. Loved going up there as a kid and I haven't been in a good 7 years. With this setup, it would make the trip that much better.
Finally a Defender showing up here (Yes I know there has been one before but .....) And showing that despite the age of the design, it can still handle anything thrown at it. Well done the 110 (Or is it a 130?) you rock.
awesome trip guys, another amazing video, can't wait to see some of those tracks, Coming across to the east coast for the first time in the big 200 , would love to use those gear to do the old telegraph track to the cape 🤙
haha jesse’s spotting always gets me out of my chair but for sure if i had a setup like that the carson river track would be #1
Fantastic guys and awesome to see the Green Oval on the tracks....keep up the good work team and carnt wait for the next leg of this trip.
Living the dream. Cheers boys, for letting me live vicariously through you all 🤙🏼
My husband just bought the new ranger raptor. Nothing would make him more happy than the new gear you’ve shown this episode. Love the show, you guys need to get the new raptor involved in the show to show its 4wding capabilities!
Great to finally see a Landy on the channel!! Beautiful vehicle and great video - thanks for another adventure, lads! 🤙
Great episode boys, good to see our local still provides the goods. Would love to take that bushwakka setup to Curtis island just off gladstone for some scenic camping
Heeey Christian here!
I have been seeing 4WD 24-7 in a long time, back home in Denmark. The stuff is just great what the post on the RUclips channel.
I have been in Brisbane for a year and have been taking my 4WD for some good trips around, i am going on a road trip after Christmas, and i really need good awning and a nice swag to survive the sun and keep the beers cold.
So hopefully I would have a chance to WIN IT.
Cheers
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Awesome vid guys! Love watching the tough wheeling! If I had that bush wakka setup. I’d be taking it straight to K’gari for a test run. Cheers
I would love to take that Bushwakka combo on a 2 week trip up the coast of British Columbia, ending in the Yukon and experiencing a 24h of daylight camp. Been on the bucket list for ever! Love this channel and you guys
Jesse you are the penultimate at guiding and directing, an exciting ep with the tip overs or sidies you've all put on a good show, hey Shauno have you considered doing a collaboration with some of the other Qld based boys and their channels
Thanks guys another cracking episode of glassy madness it's awesome stuff
That Gq is by far the best rig there. super capable. Took stupid abuse. No breakages
ripper episode guys! I have an 80 series that is in need of a awning and plenty of space up top for a swag! first stop with that would be in the Otways down here in lowest point of VIC! Stunning place highly recommend a trip down!
Love the show, good to see you back home. I’m not far from Glasshouse, really have get in there more often 👍
It's amazing how the Glasshouse has changed over the last 40 odd years. I'd sware it was never that bad back then (though we still had a bit of carnage 😉) & we never had modern vehicles or lockers back in those days !
Love the video as always, never fails to entertain the glasshouse mountains. If I got the chance to win the BushWakka kit, I would take the chance to visit the south Australian coast and explore every beach there is!
Great episode boys. Hit glassy ourselves last weekend. Had some fun on the South Powerline track.
First place I would go to try out the new Awning and the Swag would be out around Rathdowny and the Urbanville area. Some great racks around that area.
Always entertaining and good to see the boys back from the USA.
The bushwakka, would be handy when we revisit bluff knoll, just around the corner from Graham, 😉.
Love the show, keep up the great work.
glad to see an og style glasshouse episode, and that setup of sooty is mint. Would definitely be handy to have that setup for my many K'Gari trips
If i had the awning and the swag, I would use it to do trip up the Telly track. Awesome video guys thanks to everyone involved, and keep up the great work.
Gq, keeping it simple but will take you anywhere!
As for the giveaway. We would take a new awning and swag to the high country, we can’t wait to get there
I have been watchin you guys for a while now, and ive actually been looking for a camping setup like this, I would love to take this home to go on a mad trip to Fraser and DI with my mates. I think it would look really nice on my triton
Guys I would love that bushwakka set up... It would be absolutely perfect because I'll be setting off to coffs harbour to buy my dad's 4wd (which will be my first) and were gonna do an epic road trip back up to Darwin together, camping, exploring and fishing our way up the sunny east coast, then cutting in just before townsville because we both want to see the dinosaur stampede tracks and go digging for thunder eggs 😎 That set up would just really make the whole trip.. I've been looking into the bushwakka gear but I wouldn't be able to to afford it before our adventure unfortunately. So I couldn't miss the chance to throw my hat in the ring!!!
Love watching your adventures guys :) you're what got me into the hobby so thanks very much!!
Love the content. Keep them coming. With that sort of set up I would love to wheel my way up to the Kimberly rangers then off to WA to see what all the fuss is about!!! 🤞
another great show guys, just got my first 4 x 4 2017 ranger wild track the Bushwakka combo would be a great start to setting up the ole girl and heading up to Bribie for the first camping trip. cheers fellas love your work
Another epic episode gents!! I’d happily take a bushwakka set up everywhere from using the awning for some smoko shade on those hot days on the job site and use it all camping away at some local spots and when we travel up to high country
this video gave me more emotions than any movie in past 10 years, keep up good work guys
No better way to spend a Thursday night, keep up the great content!
If i had the bushwakka kit id be straight to Fraser for a summer adventure, that awning would make things a lot cooler 🤞
Killer ep lads. Dam tha gq is an absolute beast & definitely my pick. I would bushwakka my way straight up to Di with the young fella and have a week of swimming, fishing and great memories. Cheers fellas.
Ooo that bush wakka combo would be a good edition to the 80 I picked up not to long ago, taking it down to Coffs soon having some shade would be welcome with new swag to start the new set up!!!
Insane episode but loving every minute watching this.
I would take the Buswakka Adventure Gear down the muddy tracks here in The Netherlands. After about 7 weeks of rain the need for quality gear is evident.
You guys make 4x4's do way more than they were made for.
I really enjoy your videos.
Awesome episode. Always enjoy watching ahauno in sooty as a fellow 80 series owner.
If i had the bushwakka kit, I'd head straight to notch point . Awesome little spot.
Great to see the glasshouse tracks which are just 5 mins down the road, I drove some of them a long long time ago when they were nowhere near as crazy as they area now so hats off to you as I would never have the skill or determination to attempt them. As for the Bushwacker gear it would be very handy to take to Camerons Corner then down to a little camp called "Dead Horse Gully" for no other reason then I'm curious about the name and would like to see for myself. Love the Outback.
Another awsome vid guys you never disappoint. With that Bushwakka gear I'd do the coast tracks here in W.A from Albany to Bremer Bay wicked tracks from hardcore rock climbs to insane sand dunes and the best beaches in Aus cheers keep on wheeling 🤙
Straight through the Fink with that Bushwakka set up 👌🏻👌🏻 Great episode!
Got to admit I am a Toyota owner but I do like that GME patrol it’s a weapon
Would love to head up to the glasshouse mountains with my new awning and swag or maybe Tassie. i think you forgot to mention the mighty GQ ute, thats my choice of truck.
Awesome episode, like always 😊
If I had a Bushwacka avning on my Patrol Y61 I could stand dry and in shelter of rain and snow every time I go hunting or track deers/wildboar that has been hit by a car. Here in Sweden we have lots of days whit rain and snow between october and march.
An awning from bushwacka would be heaven to have on my Patrol.
Wheeling in Fraser is a dream to come true to have such a beautiful place in my backyard, having the ultimate bushwakka combo would be epic to get out there and explore every last bit of out beautiful land.
Hi guys love the show, I’ve been watching for years, I’m building a Prado for touring and would love to have a bushwhacker awning and swag setup for my first big adventure, which is going to be Cape York in May 2024.
Definitely think Shawno’s camp cooking recipes look unreal.
Thanks for making the coolest 4WD show, looking forward to watching many more episodes.
Thanks Brett from Canberra
