Girl we’re going on this curly hair journey together! I straightened my hair almost every day prior to this and I’ve straightened my hair once in the new year! I’m actually finding that I love my curls where before I couldn’t stand my curls because not many people have curly hair like mine! Yes it takes a little more effort on my part and I’m still learning what my hair needs but I do not have to change my hair just because society says straight hair is “more professional” or “prettier” etc.
yes!!! I'm trying to embrace my natural curls because they're so beautiful and no one should tell us otherwise.

Have you considered doing a low buy month? It might be a challenge at the beginning but it might make you reconsider sown purchases. Wishlists also sometimes help focus on what you really should buy .

I went through my curly hair journey a couple years ago after feeling like I always had to have my hair straight to feel confident. It’s been SUCH a game changer to embrace the curls and also saves me so much time. 😅 Loved the goals!

Truly such a realistic approach to goal setting and I love it! I also want to be more mindful about setting personalized goals instead of ones that are popular or trendy. Might have to go tweak some of my yearly goals, but the beauty of goal setting is that goals can always be updated or changed to better reflect present life!
