I happened upon your RUclips channel by happy accident. WOW! I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful teaching/demonstrating style you have. You take the time to slow down the entire process, explain each step as you go, and show multiple angles of the process. I also appreciate the fact you show the process more than once in a deliberate and patient pace (with such respect to beginners) and so that your viewers can see every aspect of what you are doing. You are truly AWESOME and I cannot wait to learn more from you. Thank you so very much for your time and effort in making these delightful How-To videos.

I am so grateful I stumbled upon your wonderful tutorials. I have been wanting to crochet since I was a kid, but I had no idea where to start. I would walk into a craft store and get so overwhelmed, I'd just walk right out! Your tutorials are so well-done, you make crocheting understandable and approachable. I am starting my first blanket this week (based on your video for the moss stitch!) Thank you Robin!!

You are a wonderful teacher! Because of your clear instructions I felt I was able to make bobbles and other stitches just by watching. I ran and bought some gorgeous yarn cakes and hooks and I'm addicted. Love making bobbles.
I came to this video to see if you'd explain the anatomy of a chain. The one thing I can't visualize is the parameters of one link - the boundaries seem to blur together. And when you mentioned going through the lower loop of a chain, I really didn't know what you meant. Could you clarify sometime? I didn't think you mean to split the two ply yarn.
As you go, could you perhaps explain why we chain 1 or 3 or five? I understand we are leaving room to work or to build the edge as we turn, but if you explain why I would never forget that part.
Anyway, you rock lady. Thank you for your channel. ❤

@@nonchalantdewinessthank you for commenting this. I've been crocheting for 2 weeks and im really struggling to get a granny square right. I feel like I'll never be able to get the tension correct or not skip stitches or understand anything and make those beautiful projects. and everyone seems to be good at it right from the beginning. so your comment has encouraged me so much.

One thing I don’t get is how you get the yarn to so seamlessly slip off of the hook. Mine just /all/ bunches under the hook.
Suppose that’s just practice though. Apart from that, I found this extremely helpful XD
