    Speakers
The LG Gram 17″ speakers are a mixed bag:
Sound Quality: Unfortunately, the speakers are tinny and lack bass. While they’re acceptable for talk or podcasts, they fall short for music or movies.
Rating: I’d give them a 2.5 out of 5. Manufacturers need to address this common issue in laptops.
    Features
Durability: The LG Gram 17″ is built tough, yet it remains lightweight.
Battery Life: With 10-20 hours of practical battery life, you can work or stream without worrying about recharging.
Connectivity: It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, ensuring seamless connectivity.
Thunderbolt 4: The inclusion of Thunderbolt 4 ports adds versatility for connecting peripherals.
    Portability
Weight: At less than 3 pounds, the LG Gram 17″ is incredibly light, making it perfect for travel or daily commutes.
Battery Life: Coupled with the impressive battery life, it’s an excellent choice for remote work or long flights.
    Who is it for?
The LG Gram 17″ laptop would be an excellent choice for several types of users:
Professionals on the Go: If you’re a business traveler, consultant, or digital nomad, the LG Gram 17″ offers the perfect blend of power and portability. Its lightweight design and impressive battery life make it ideal for work on the move.
Content Creators: Photographers, video editors, and graphic designers will appreciate the 99% DCI-P3 color gamut of the 17″ WUXGA display. The high-resolution screen ensures accurate color representation for editing tasks.
Students and Academics: Whether you’re attending lectures, researching, or writing papers, the LG Gram 17″ provides a comfortable typing experience with its tactile keyboard. Plus, the long battery life means you won’t be tethered to an outlet during study sessions.
Multimedia Enthusiasts: While the speakers may not be stellar, the LG Gram 17″ is still suitable for podcasts, video calls, and casual entertainment. Its lightweight build and large display enhance the multimedia experience.
Tech-Savvy Users: With Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth connectivity, the LG Gram 17″ caters to those who demand the latest technology. It’s a versatile machine for connecting peripherals and accessories.
In summary, the LG Gram 17″ appeals to a wide range of users, from professionals seeking productivity to creatives craving color accuracy. Its lightweight design and impressive features make it a solid recommendation for anyone in need of a reliable laptop. 🚀💻
    Conclusion
In summary, the LG Gram 17″ is a well-rounded laptop that balances power, portability, and features. Despite the speaker limitations, its overall performance and build quality make it a solid recommendation. If you’re in the market for a lightweight powerhouse, give the LG Gram 17″ is one of the best 17″ machines you can buy.

suggestion: compare this LG Gram 17'' to that core innovations ctl 14'' in all tests.
    test suggestions:
    1. power on (the one who powers on faster wins)
    3. web browsing (the one who loads websites faster wins)
    4. loading applications (the one who loads apps faster wins)
    5. audio test (the one with better speakers wins)
    7. run minecraft (the one with faster performance wins)
    8. run battery intensive applications on both laptops, to get both laptops's batteries to 0%. (the one who takes longer for battery to reach 0% wins)
    9. charge both batteries to 100% (the one with a faster charge speed wins)
    10. power on again (same winning condition)
    11. log in again (same winning condition)
    12. test the good-ness of the plastics on both laptops (the one with better plastics wins)
    13. shut down (the one who shuts down faster wins)

What would be the best laptop for editing and running OBS

    • @ComputerStuff

What size screen you looking for? Something with a dedicated graphics card (Nvidia, AMD) would be an option for editing and OBS.

Are you familiar with the lenova yoga 7i 16" 2 in 1 laptop? I'm trying to decide between that and the LG gram 16" for my dads bday gift. Which would you say is a better buy between the two?

Depends on his use case, but I'd go with Gram if he's a traveler.

Do you know the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 16-inch with a screen that has the same resolution as this LG Gram? At the same cost and very similar hardware specifications, between the two, which do you prefer in terms of screen quality and overall build quality? Thank you, excellent review.

If you're traveling a lot, go with the LG Gram. If this will sit on your desk more often than not, go with the Lenovo.
