anything that combines multiple tools and lowers overall weight and increases space of my bag is awesome
Good call on Klein making a mini version. The point of this tool seems to be to save space and weight. ... And nice rosary scapular.
Nice! I like the idea of having one tool to replace two in the bag.
I have quite a range of Klein tools, the only one that I have been disappointed with is the pipe grip/pump pliers. I think they were approx £70 and are very clunky to operate, and constantly jam. I bought the Knipex plier wrench to replace it in 125mm, 180mm and 300mm, they cost a lot more but are fantastic. If I come across these new Klein ones I’ll take a look and see if they are up to the job.
I also have the Klein 11 in 1 driver, the slimline 4 in 1 driver and the stubby 4 in 1 driver. The 11 in 1 has snapped one of the bits, annoyingly I can’t find a replacement bit so need to buy it again. The slimline 4 in 1 has had to be replaced because I snapped a bit too but that was my fault as I was using it to prise something and it snapped - that was me misusing it so I was happy to buy it again. The stubby 4 in 1 has been a workhorse, it’s tiny and gets in very confined spaces with ease.
Love Klein, wish I saw it before getting a similar knipex one
I did not know this existed. Thanks for posting.
Love the rooster in the background
They get louder every time 😅
Looking at those today. Thanks for the info.
Dude. No way. I was thinking of getting the bahco reversible wrench. I may take this one into consideration.
バーコのリバーシブル使ってるけど良いぞ❗それと比較すれば、これは良いと言える
Nice I want to have those for my collection and daily used
Got it last week. Love it
Knipex for the win!
Only knipex clone worth buying bc it doesn't rip it off but innovate the design further
Where is the Klein plier wrench made?
Awesome idea on the Doyle with the Klein slider shaft. I love that tool! Only able to find that slider at Johnstone or other supply houses.
I purchased my first one and the teeth for adjusting the size got stripped. I assumed it was a poor heat treat. Exchanged it for a second. This second wrench had a poor heat treat in the jaws so gripping a pipe is out. For $50 the quality is just not there. I will not be buying another.
Taiwan? like the Icon? I do like the Icon Snap-on thick handles myself. The D530-10 looks neat.
It’s been some time. Do you have a short update on the 2in1 wrench in the field?
still solid for me,, I use it and flip it back and forth depending on what I need it for so I'm enjoying it
Klein tools ... Enough said 😂 Like the Rooster by the way ...
im an apprentice and havent used any stubbies yet, in what situation do you use yours?
I use it more on refrigeration side, a stubby and the Klein electricians ratchet will get you out of a lot of jams
Walk in condenser motor brackets can be up against a receiver and things like that.
I also have some panels with screws awkwardly put up next to a pressure control that I can't fit a longer nut driver in
I use mine in gas/oil boilers etc, also electric water heaters and similar it’s very versatile and a lot smaller than my Stanley Fatmax ones with a better handle to grip too.
👍
transformer pliers
You still using it? The top jaw not flipping to suit cobra style is putting me off the purchase
