Replacing the O2 Sensor on Suzuki 300 Motor

In today's video, we are having to replace the O2 Sensor on our Suzuki motor. Our Suzuki has been a great motor but the one minor issue the Suzuki 300 outboard seems to have is the o2 sensor. This won’t stop the engine from running but it will give you an error code and hurt your fuel economy slightly.

I have the same motors on my boat. They are 2020’s but the graphics are different from yours. I would imagine that the O2 sensor would be in the same spot. Thanks for posting!

Wild thought here. If you already have the right replacement part, you think you can just cut the wire and use a regular 14mm?

You could get it off that way but I think it’ll be an issue trying to tighten the new one.
