    We need a detailed video on the lower unit issues on the DF350A and DF 300. You know, the sea water in the lower unit oil, the seaweed and debris getting in both water valves and ruining the engines(over heat). Etc etc. I really like these duo prop engine but please inform the public on your progress or opinion is. - Suzuki fan.

    good Day Sir, what is the common problem to a Suzuki DF 115 Az outboard motor, there's no injection and ignition signal voltages. We have 2-4, and 3-4 diagnostic codes on our check engine light. This is a brand new motor 2021 model,,, do have any hints on how to cure this problem? Thank you.

    I have a problem on a suzuki df 90 A 2009.. I have no spark and the trim does not work, and when it is connected directly to the wires, then the trim works.. is it the ECM? when starting I have a long beeeep pause of 5 seconds and then a beeeep for about 3 seconds and so on..thank you

    My Suzuki, runs fine, them will run rough. I have to tap off the power, cut the engine, restart, and then i can go again. Had it looked at loads of times. Changed spark plugs, air/fuel unit. Nothing works. Any advice?

    I have had a 1992 Suzuki dt15c 2 stroke. I got it 2 years ago with a Alaskan Smokercraft 15 ft aluminum fishing boat. That belonged to my father. The engine had sat for some time. It had new plugs, kill cord switch, impeller. I replaced the fuel tank, supply hose and priming bulb. When I first took it out it ran great. The next time It would not plane the boat with 2 people and minimal gear.
    I checked the carb and fuel filter clean and everything in the carb looked good. Starts and idles well. Runs good till half throttle after that seems to lack power.

      Poor Fisherman is the fuel tank breathing properly? Check that the air valve is open. Sound like it's not getting enough fuel.

    I have a 2 stroke older 95 HP oil injected motor, starts good etc. however it will stall when I slowdown from high speed....bulb was changed

    I have a 2014 25hp 4stroke .Runs good out of water but launch it and it runs for about 20 feet then the oil light comes on and it stops . Wait a few minutes and it will start but run just on one cylinder . Any help would be appreciated

    Have a 2018, 150hp
    Runs smooth at idle, but when I add power it slows and revs over and over.
    Can’t get any power???

      Your description sounds like the shift switch still thinks it's in neutral, often needing throttle cable adjustment

    Hi i need help i have a suzuki 50Df when i go fishing the outboard slowdown and a busser goes of i have had a computer read out dosent show anything service is allways done when it happens i turn it off and it restarts strate away the it will happon again 10 to 15 min later have changed kill switch now i am lost please can anyone help me Regards Ron

    Trying to use SDS software on a 2015 DF20 outboard. DF20 has an ECM, but it looks like you have to actually power the ECM separately (since there's no "on" switch for the motor and it doesn't have to be connected to a battery to run). Can you tell me anything about this ECM power cable and how to connect it?

    Just wondering can I bring my outboard engine to a suzuki dealership and maybe get some help with it. I have a 90 hp suzuki four stroke engine. While driving it in salt water awhile ago the check engine light went on and off several times.

    I have a question,,, I’m looking at a boat for purchase a 21 foot StarCraft deck boat with a 115 hp outboard Suzuki motor 2002 model. It has been sitting for about six months and then torn down and rebuilt by a professional. Do I take the chance and purchase this boat is the motor longevity a crapshoot at this point.??? I appreciate any input

    I have a 200hp marnier and the alarm will beep rapidly and the boat will not go more than just trolling speed even if it is opened all the way up any ideas

      : Mercury/mariner 200hp efi rapidly beeps?
      You should get three beeps when the key is turned on as a system check, then it should stop.
      Once running, a rapid beeping is an oil alarm.
      It is highly recommended to mix oil with your fuel as insurance against an oiling failure, if it turns out to be something else, the you'll just make a bit more smoke thru this tank of fuel.
      Check the motor mounted oil tank, while running, loosen the cap and let the oil level rise till it just starts to leak then tighten the cap.
      Spark test all cyl's, the alarm module compares signals of the oil pump rotation sensor to one of the ignition coils, any difference, it alarms.

    Have a Suzuki df 40 tilt and trim not working just a clicking noise from the relay , wondering if a low battery would cause that even if it's enough to start the engine .any suggestions is greatly appreciated thanks.

      Low battery voltage can be a cause. The low voltage can operate the relay though it won't operate the motor. So check the battery voltage, if that's okay access the ptt relay, manually operate the ptt motor by disconnecting the motor lead connections from the relay and give power supply. If the ptt works, it's the relay and if the motor does not work you've found your problem

    I have a DF300 AP which ran out of fuel when returning from a trip out. Faulty fuel gauge led me astray. Refille system with clean fuel, restarted and sprang into life immediately. Went for sea test when I discovered that although revs were at 4000, I could only achieve 10 knots. I took her back alongside, changed out water separator filter (no water present in bowl), changed out low pressure and high pressure fuel filters on engine, took her back out on sea test and still could only achieve 10 knots at 400RPM. No fault indication on indicator. Any ideas peeps

    I have a 25 hp suzuki and my throttle is locked up will not turn it just stays in idle does anyone know what the problem is?

    My 2019 250ss died when on plane followed by 3 beeps. It wouldn’t restart. After around 30 minutes I squeezed the priming bulb and it was soft. After priming it started up. I continued fishing for a while and it started and ran fine for a while. Then when running back to the marina it died on plane followed by 3 beeps. It started this time and I was able to make it back. Do you know what may be happening? This outboard has a little over 80 hours.

      Having the same issue, well not always dieing but continuesto go/die off jerk and go again, did you ever find out what was wrong?

      PO CATZ TV yep . Switched to ethanol free and irt went away. I actually think it was the winter blend because I’ve recently pumped 15-20 gallons of regular unleaded in it and have not had the issue.

    Does anyone know if a 2018 15hp tiller has a high rpm rev limiter.
    I put a brand new one on a 14ft and it runs perfect except at full speed once the boat planes the motor misses on cylinder in miss at a time then good for 2 or 3 seconds then it repeats as long as I hold full throttle. Slow down a bit and the engine runs perfect.

      Must have over rev limiter. I just broke in my new 2020 20hp Suzuki and is doing the same thing. Probably propped wrong . I'm going to get in touch with the company I bought it from. I guess it's turning to many rpms.

    I have a 140 Suzuki at high speed the water stops coming out of the piss hole.. At low speeds it’s is fine. I’ve replaced the water pump with no success. Any thoughts?

      When you disassembled the water pump did the impeller look ok? Check and see if the telltale "piss hole" hose is restricted. Also check if water is coming out of the water outlet on the back of the shaft and from where the prop mounts. Sounds like the telltale is restricted.

      Usually it happens due to restricted water flow from the fuel cooler and rectifier. Pass some type of salt dissolving chemical from the piss hole. Wait for 15 to 20 mins and then start again

    Hi every one.Maybe some body can help me. I have a problem with my suzuki and i hope someone to know about this. My mech cant find the problem one year now. I have a suzuki df 70 2006 4 stroke. The engine in low rpm work perfect. After 3.700rpm until 5.500 make something like imidiatly loose rpm and imidiatly come again.. Is like something cut imidiatly the power. Is something electrical and we cant find it.I change the spark the fuel filter we open and clean the fuel pambs both oh them we take all sensrors and clean them new water seperator new fuel tank. I take my fuel injectors for control and cleaning. Maybe is coils? How i can CHECK them?

    I have a Suzuki 40. When I start the engine in land and put the motor in a tank it hardly ever pulls up water. Never an issue at Sea. I know it doesn't make sense but why could this be?

      That's because the impeller isn't self priming and you need to have the water level higher than you have it now.

    The motor runs fine all day and on the way in it drops to low rpm not even enough to plain out and stays there.

      Steve Babka the same as any outboard. Goes in through water ports in the lower unit, which goes into the water pump, which pumps it up to the engine. Thermostats decide based on engine temp where it goes through the engine. The pick up’s are on either side, in front of the center of the prop, and the same on each side.

      The crankcase should be sealed to hold the oil. Crank shaft should never have water in contact!

    I have a 2018 Suzuki DF 90, I have recently changed spark plugs, oil and filter, the fuel/water separator filter..No problem starting, idling, running at steady speed at or below 3,000 RPM. Once I give it more throttle, starts to plane out at 4,000 RPM - she goes for about 200 meters, then it's as if someone pinches off the fuel. It begins to run rough, almost quits. If I throttle down quick enough, it never shuts down, just idles at 1,000 RPM...maddening.

    So you would not check sparkplugs.. Not everything is fuel a fouled spark plug can play a big part in misfiring. This video is not entirely useful.
