Your hair is so beautiful. I’m a straight hair natural and this Midwest heat 🔥I like wearing it down, but my edges usually go first. I spend a lot of time with a scarf around them too.
Lovely hair. My summers are humid and hot where I live in the Midwest. So my roots revert back very easily during the summer months. As a result, when combing my hair, I see more hair fall. Should I re-flat iron my roots only(I silk press once a week summertime)? I feel like the two different texture is issue.
Humidity really does have a big effect on the straight natural hair life for sure.🥵I just don’t like putting heat on my hair in between my wash days because too much can end up damaging it or breaking it off. I know that constantly being in wet air would probably have me in twist outs, or braid outs. Also laying down my edges with a scarf when indoors helps tremendously! I feel like I live with a scarf tied around my hair! lol!
I feel you I’m also natural st8 with bangs, I’m down South so Ive been wigged up too bc the humidity is just outright disrespectful to my hair rn lol 😭

How do you keep your hair moisturized without it reverting?
Because I do my hair so frequent, the natural oil in my hair keeps it moisturized between my wash days✨💓
