You guys can, my hair can't stay without washing for more than 3 days, it smells, it's not just about oil on scalp it's the smell,i guess black hair don't smell after a week or more
That's me with protecting my hair against rain! I've walked out the store with a bag on my head before! My hair is almost as long as yours, it takes a lot of time to straighten.
It’s so great to see a person with no natural straight hair being so confident and proud about straightening it! My family is mostly Mediterranean and Indigenous but I got the Mediterranean (Italian) curly hair… Since I decide to straighten it I got so criticized! I love my roots but it’s not up to ppl to decide how I should look! I feel AMAZING with my non natural straight hair and I’ll keep on doing it for as long as I can (I always take care of it and through these long 9 years my hair looks INCREDIBLE and HEALTHY)… In order to try to be the best version of me (being tbv of you involves several topics but here I’m obviously talking about the visuals) that was one of my best decisions and one of the few I don’t regret of doing! Babies listen to me: you’re the only one to “live in your body” so don’t let others try to set visual standards to you (don’t matter your ethnicity, race or wtv)!! ♥️
THIS! I get that there’s layers to the whole thing but it doesn’t mean it applies in every situation. I never learnt how to take care of my curls and straightening it became the easy/ better option for me so that’s what I chose …that’s it
girl fr. Im asian with a curly hair and most of my classmates and relatives with straight hair tells me thats i their dream to have a curly hair like mine so it's a waste for me to just straighten it lol. there r even times when they tell me that straight hair doesnt suit me etc but I like it when I wear my hair straight, I feel more confident and effortless clean look (bcos when Im curly no matter what hairstyle I do I always look so messy due and I dont like tying it back too hard like other curly haired ppl bcos I have a very large forehead and tying it tight would make me look bald in front and emphasizes my forehead width). I just rlly hope that ppl would stop discouraging me cuz their opinions dont rlly help, it just makes it harder for me and makes me feel bad lol.
You're so underrated, why is this not the first video that comes up when I search "straightening natural hair"? This and your last year's video on growing hair are literally my new bible lol. New subscriber, please keep doing videos!
I am purchasing shower caps and headband right now. Thank you for being so thorough. I also like the way you spit your hair in two sections, way faster and less breakage from a wrap. I will look at this video a few more times, just to get the techniques down.
Tip: use Qhemet Biologics Heavy Cream, it moisturizes hair. The cool thing about it is that it contains water so it truly moisturizes it like your hair needs to avoid damage BUT, water is NOT the 1st ingredient so if you apply it lightly, your hair won't revert. 😊 The product is a little pricy, but worth it because oils and butters alone do not moisturize the hair. Water is not the enemy. It's about the amount. When it comes to hair reverting, it's all about the level and amount of water that gets to the hair. The tiniest amount doesn't cause hair to revert. Water is literally everywhere. It's even in your house at all times and in all rooms. It's in the air. Humans couldn't survive without moisture in the air and breathing would be very difficult or impossible without moist air. Completely dry air is not healthy for humans. So it's about the level/amount of moisture that could ruin the style.

Hey gurl ! I’ve just found ur channel and its amazing !! I hope ull answer t’ksss 😘
Hiii! So glad you found me, thank you for watching 🖤🖤 too much heat can definitely be damaging to your hair. Try to do things to minimize how much heat you used ex heat protectant and only going over once with the straightener. Hope that helps and you can watch my “how to grow healthy hair while heat styling” video for more🤗
So I'm now on week three of straight hair (I've already washed it once after two weeks) and I noticed you mentioned your hair shedding. I just want to know how much actually comes out? I'm trying to see if mine is normal or if I'm extremely stressed 🤣 like every time I touch it, I pull out about 5-10 strands.... More when I comb it 😭😭
Ya so I only mentioned shedding when I was saying that I noticed that the strands that I shed were broken/ short pieces vs now I shed long strands of hair. I consider what is normal for me only, so try to notice if it’s more or less than what’s typical for you. Hope that makes sense 🖤
Where do you get your headbands? I believe this is the secret I needed. You’re right, it’s hard to not touch your hair when you get it freshly straightened lol but very necessary.
I have no clue where it’s from unfortunately…found it year ago in my mom’s old stuff but I’m sure you can find some wide ones on Amazon. Hahaha I always go reminds myself!

Moroccan oil is ok to use to prevent humidity?
What hair straightening treatment do you do ?
When you say don’t get your hair wet: you mean we can shower and wash our hair in the shower right, just try not to let rain get on your hair.
Any advice for girlies with dandruff
Use shampoo that has tea tree oil and/or peppermint oil
Lol not ” at risk “😆 It IS that serious 💯
Do you have a video with your natural texture?
You can see it in my hair wash routine and curly to straight videos 🤗
Thanks for sharing! I tried some of your methods and they worked for me (-: ohmygoodness
IM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT!!🙌🏽🥳
God loves you Coralie!
Hty thank you so much ❤
How to protect the hair while showering?
I wrap it up with my silk scarf/bonnet and then tie a plastic bag on top. The plastic bag will keep all water out
@@Iv3y_Lamar Thanks will try.:)
Ouuuu ya that’s a good idea since you can wrap the bag nice and tight 👌🏽
I showed in the video! I use a shower cap and headband 🙌🏽
Your hàir is gorgeous and long thanks for the tips❤❤
So are you not able to workout at all so you don't sweat? I don't think I could give up running to maintain straight hair.
I still workout! I don’t do lots of cardio or running though
😯😯😯thank u for sharing!!!!! 😍
Of course! Thanks for watching 🖤
Love your hair 😄
Thanks so much 🤗🤗
How do you straighten it ?
