Maybe it's time for Honda to make a second generation of the Navi. It needs a 125 EFI, better brakes and a new gauge cluster. Love the fact that the Navi has a foot rear brake lever just like a standard motorcycle. More scooters should be made like that.
The attraction is the price and performance. You'll have trouble finding something that works better at for that price, or works as well for less. If you start adding features, the price goes up and the careful balance goes out the window faster than a Russian politician.
Awesome product! Installed and gained 6-7 mph. 9 downhill now topping out at 56 mph flat road 60 downhill. Keep in mind this is the first mod I’ve done so far! Thanks rolling wrench
Here's a trick for ya! In my years of working on vehicles, especially new vehicles, I hare scratching them. Even I places you don't see. For routing wires as shown on 11:43 , use a shoelace or any kind of smaller rope. Dip it down from the top and tie it around the connectors. Then all you have to do is pull it up! Neat Lil trick for anyone having issues, and or want to prevent scratches. Hope this helps!
Excellent,,, as soon as you get that gear up kit I want one... Since most of my riding is wide open throttle on 45 and 50 mile-an-hour roads.... The next thing you need to come out with is some taller handlebars and all the cables and stuff to go with it.. I'm thinking a six or seven inch rise would be perfect
If only these had a way of adjusting the ignition timing. I think some power gains would be found with that. Still, it's really good to see the Navi getting some well needed love like this, specifically for the ones who don't want to go through the process of installing the 12" wheel and tire.
Really neat video. I plan to get the cam shaft upgrade that gives more power. If I pair it with the CDI box you offer I would expect to get up to about 65 or so with exhaust, rejetting, pod filter, s23 variator and a clutch upgrade. Your doing awesome on these videos.
I have the performance cam. It will be part of this series. You may consider the Reveno clutch. 2.5lbs lighter then your clutch. Makes a huge difference in acceleration
@@RollingWrenchnot worth the cost, sometimes plastic's just better. But maybe a stronger attachment point or use a washer to increase the surface area on the next redesign
I should do it. The clutch will destroy any of the competition hands down. It’s 2.5lbs lighter and has triple plates. It’s kind of like comparing drum brakes to disk brakes. The Reveno rollers in the stock variator vs the malossi variator . Different story. The malossi will most likely take the cake
What is the best mod for top speed. I have the rev limit. CVT stuff. But weight for variator? Color for clutch springs. What is best for top speed only?
@@RollingWrench ok I’m gonna buy it next I just cammed it with the DCR 1 Navi cam and I feel it wanting to go but the rev limiter is holding it back I upgraded the pilot and rejetted it as well
Im looking into buy a Honda Navi 2024 but I have heard they begin to get sluggish around 1000Miles with other years. Is this the same issue on the 2024?
48mph my top even down hill. At 800 miles on navi. New i could get 52mph. Lol im buying this. If i can get 55 or 57 id be stoked.. buying now. And even my dumbass can watch this video and install this. Thx guys

Did you set it at all or are you just running it as it came ?
What other mods have you done to the bike?
I cannot find the link can you please post it?
Did you adjust it at all after u installed it?

Good God man, that’s just crazy talk.
So basically you want a Grom, with a CVT..?
The attraction is the price and performance. You'll have trouble finding something that works better at for that price, or works as well for less. If you start adding features, the price goes up and the careful balance goes out the window faster than a Russian politician.
it needs at least a 150 and some bigger wheels

Great idea! I have don’t this too. It’s a good trick
I dont have a navi but these episodes need to be weekly or more got me watching these. Good videos keeping stuff interesting
Just ordered this. Can’t wait to install! Current top speed is 51/52 mph
You’re gonna love it!!! I appreciate the support 🙏🏻💯🖤
How did I miss this...... Awesome!!!

You are doing great job rebuilding your Honda Navi 👏! Mr Matt 🍻
Thanks! 👍

RIDICULOUS 😂
Gears are turning ⚙️
You can literally buy ANY handle bars for these and install them.
@@patrickfargie1146 yep. 7/8 bars
40mm bar risers were a nice improvement

The timing is actually advanced slightly on this cdi. Makes for easy start up and better throttle response
Naaaviii being rolling on moooar powaaa
When will there be moreavailable?
Great video! My order arrived yesterday. That piece of candy was delicious btw! Thanks for everything!

When's the CVT kit coming back in stock?@@RollingWrench
My only wish is that the new cdi was a cool aluminum but I’m sure being plastic keeps the price down! Awesome product!
I could do that. But it’s hodden
@@RollingWrenchnot worth the cost, sometimes plastic's just better. But maybe a stronger attachment point or use a washer to increase the surface area on the next redesign
Where's episode 4
This can’t be good for reliability… I love it!
You got to be smart about it. Anytime you increase the performance you decrease the reliability.
I bought my cdi box, can't wait to install & go ball's to the wall 😂 sweet, sweet sour chicken I'm excited 😆😊
My navi hits 60 no problem with cvt upgrades. I wonder how much more I can get with this?
Sheesh! You tell me :-)
85 easy
How much has your fuel economy tanked after modding?
@@razkrunk3169tanked no. But definitely effected
Keep us posted on the up gear and 12 inch wheel install please
For sure!
Is there a video of the bigger rear wheel or gear up swap made?
Clutch is great and rollers just ordered this coil kit tks don't buy Vance Hines header mine broke twice pos. Luv ur channel
Did you keep stock ngk spark plug? What about going to a hotter plug? With all upgrades. Any need for a hotter plug
Klotz additive will give you that oxygen back at altitude.
Have you put the DCR cam into one of these bad boys yet?
If I did this all would I compromise the engine?
You the man bro 🔥🔥💪🏽🫶🏼
Have you made episode 4 of the navi,
Did you ever had the bigger rear wheel? She is episode 4 coming out?
Is there a rev limit setting you would recommend to prevent over reving the engine?
To be safe stay under 10k rpm
Need episode 4…👍🏾
Can i do this without any other mods to get a hugher top speed?
If i could get it up to 75 it would be an ideal bike for me.
Any updates on a restock of this part or episode 4?
If you have no reverter, I wonder how much more stress and damage it does to your engine versus having a rev limiter
How much faster will the Navi go if I just install your new "CDI Plug & Play mod" with NO other mods installed!
Good question. I don’t know. Never tested. Your money would be better spent on a CVT modification first
When is the next video!?!
Any word on updates to this series?
Nice!! What rpm is max power now?
Good question. I haven’t dynoed to know. Other then a butt dyno. Feels good all the way to 10500
When will there be more available?
2 more weeks
...big bore kit?
Are you guys going to install the new camshaft too as well?
Yes :-)
Just need "as well" or just "too"
What notch is 10.5 on the revlimter is it set? Or do you have to figure it out?
Has anyone done a comparison of reveno clutch/variator vs motossi?

How much? I love my clutch I got from u
Can this be done on a 2024 Navi???
💯
My Navi carries me @45 pegged , a nd cruises at 40 @ 6/8 throttle.
Will this mod hurt my navi?
Im looking into buy a Honda Navi 2024 but I have heard they begin to get sluggish around 1000Miles with other years. Is this the same issue on the 2024?
Really? I haven’t heard that. It’s probably just in need of a valve adjustment at 1k miles
Lower gearing gives you higher top speed(example 3,42 and lower). Higher gearing gives you lower top speeds (example 3.73 and higher)
True
I can turn the dial infinitely and each end looks the same to me, how do I know It’s rev limited the least without a tach?
If you turn it all the way to the left your rev limit is only 4k. Top speed 25 mph. Go the other way and delete the rev limiter.
I have it turned all the way to the right, and have done an air intake, 12 g rollers and 100 rpm springs and I’ve only gotten as fast as 52 mph :((
Got it tks
What did you use to wrap the wires?
It’s a red cable wrap
What are the chances you blow up the thing accidentally? Idk much about them, but worries me, lol
Un modified Honda motors are super difficult to kill. When you start changing pistons and cranks is when the issues start popping up
Should I replace my G-tech/Pro with a Dragy?
I’m not familiar with the g-tech
Hell yea
