Want an easy solution to get more top speed out of your Honda Navi? This is our Honda Navi EVI, it’s a performance micro processor unrestricted CDI box with an integrated performance ignition coil. This baby pumps out 32,000 AC volts at the spark plug! Not to mention this cdi box is unrestricted. The stock Honda Navi has a rev limit of 8,700RPM. That is what limits your top speed. The EVI deletes that rev limiter. We have had our Navi up to 10,500 RPM! This will unlock the engine’s full capability. If you wish to set your own rev limit, there is a dial on the bottom of the EVI that will allow you to custom set your rev limiter. (You can lower or raise the rev limit.) This unrestricted CDI coil combo has everything you could ever ask for out of a unrestricted CDI. Plus it’s 100% plug and play. No splicing or cutting wires of any sort.

Installed, old top speed 56mph new top speed 62 as fast as my 125 pro kawasaki

Awesome product! Installed and gained 6-7 mph. 9 downhill now topping out at 56 mph flat road 60 downhill. Keep in mind this is the first mod I’ve done so far! Thanks rolling wrench

Maybe it's time for Honda to make a second generation of the Navi. It needs a 125 EFI, better brakes and a new gauge cluster.
Love the fact that the Navi has a foot rear brake lever just like a standard motorcycle. More scooters should be made like that.

Here's a trick for ya!
In my years of working on vehicles, especially new vehicles, I hare scratching them. Even I places you don't see.
For routing wires as shown on 11:43 , use a shoelace or any kind of smaller rope. Dip it down from the top and tie it around the connectors. Then all you have to do is pull it up!
Neat Lil trick for anyone having issues, and or want to prevent scratches.

You got to be smart about it. Anytime you increase the performance you decrease the reliability.
Really neat video. I plan to get the cam shaft upgrade that gives more power. If I pair it with the CDI box you offer I would expect to get up to about 65 or so with exhaust, rejetting, pod filter, s23 variator and a clutch upgrade. Your doing awesome on these videos.
I have the performance cam. It will be part of this series. You may consider the Reveno clutch. 2.5lbs lighter then your clutch. Makes a huge difference in acceleration

If only these had a way of adjusting the ignition timing. I think some power gains would be found with that. Still, it's really good to see the Navi getting some well needed love like this, specifically for the ones who don't want to go through the process of installing the 12" wheel and tire.
The timing is actually advanced slightly on this cdi. Makes for easy start up and better throttle response

@@RollingWrenchnot worth the cost, sometimes plastic's just better. But maybe a stronger attachment point or use a washer to increase the surface area on the next redesign
Did you keep stock ngk spark plug? What about going to a hotter plug? With all upgrades. Any need for a hotter plug
Excellent,,, as soon as you get that gear up kit I want one... Since most of my riding is wide open throttle on 45 and 50 mile-an-hour roads.... The next thing you need to come out with is some taller handlebars and all the cables and stuff to go with it.. I'm thinking a six or seven inch rise would be perfect

What is the best mod for top speed. I have the rev limit. CVT stuff. But weight for variator? Color for clutch springs. What is best for top speed only?
If you have no reverter, I wonder how much more stress and damage it does to your engine versus having a rev limiter
Klotz additive will give you that oxygen back at altitude.
What notch is 10.5 on the revlimter is it set? Or do you have to figure it out?

48mph my top even down hill. At 800 miles on navi. New i could get 52mph. Lol im buying this. If i can get 55 or 57 id be stoked.. buying now. And even my dumbass can watch this video and install this. Thx guys

Good question. I haven’t dynoed to know. Other then a butt dyno. Feels good all the way to 10500
Lower gearing gives you higher top speed(example 3,42 and lower). Higher gearing gives you lower top speeds (example 3.73 and higher)

Question how did you advance your timing did you go counter clockwise on the fan with the F mark?
We did it digitally in our micro processor cdi coil
@@RollingWrench ok I’m gonna buy it next I just cammed it with the DCR 1 Navi cam and I feel it wanting to go but the rev limiter is holding it back I upgraded the pilot and rejetted it as well

Im looking into buy a Honda Navi 2024 but I have heard they begin to get sluggish around 1000Miles with other years. Is this the same issue on the 2024?
Really? I haven’t heard that. It’s probably just in need of a valve adjustment at 1k miles

Good question. I don’t know. Never tested. Your money would be better spent on a CVT modification first

I should do it. The clutch will destroy any of the competition hands down. It’s 2.5lbs lighter and has triple plates. It’s kind of like comparing drum brakes to disk brakes. The Reveno rollers in the stock variator vs the malossi variator . Different story. The malossi will most likely take the cake

Un modified Honda motors are super difficult to kill. When you start changing pistons and cranks is when the issues start popping up
I hit 64 with a polini cp carb and a Honda Navi deluxe variator kit I wonder what it I had this?

I can turn the dial infinitely and each end looks the same to me, how do I know It’s rev limited the least without a tach?
If you turn it all the way to the left your rev limit is only 4k. Top speed 25 mph. Go the other way and delete the rev limiter.
I have it turned all the way to the right, and have done an air intake, 12 g rollers and 100 rpm springs and I’ve only gotten as fast as 52 mph :((

Without this cdi, i mean company default cdi gives me 62mph/ 95kmph, then why we need that combo cdi... No need for your cdi....

If your going 62 with your stock Navi imagine what removing the rev limit will do
Only Bike petrol Average goes down, 50kmpl to 40kmpl but you can get 62 miles per hour speed, there is no limiters in India in Honda bikes

In all the small hondas I owned over the years, the valves float at maximum RPM. I never saw a blown up honda mini engine that wasn't screwed up by contaminated or low oil. I thought these things redlined around 7500: learn something new..
I think they start to float around 10500
