Thank you for a very easy to follow video with no turning and great finish. Been trying to find one I could follow without constantly going back to it. Brilliant x

So beautiful and so regular! I like these far more than the regular granny with clusters. I tried to make a blanket-size solid granny square but it began to twist as it grew. A friend told me I had to reverse direction with each round and that would solve my problem. I never figured out how to move up to do that properly so I eventually gave up.🤔

You can do her chain in the corner abd turn..to go around one way then go tge other on next round. If you keep to the corners to start and finish you won't have an ugly chain in the middle that slowly creeps along the one side. As you increase each side by 4 stitches the joint will creep around too. I love the way she explains it.

@SallyD. Thank you! This sounds so easy and logical! The prior explanation I got made the change of direction so complicated and did leave a noticeable seam. Corners it will be!

You come up with ingenious ideas for Afghans. I find them to be easy to do if I watch and listen to you. I find your accent is so pleasant. I really enjoy you!

I LOVE granny squares 😍🤩😁. The closest I've come to making this type of granny is making your baby blanket (that I don't remember the name of)you go into the corner=any which way blanket [it came to me 😃]with 2 treble crochets for you in the UK, and chain 2/skip 2, and continue along the row. Gonna have to make some like these for a change from regular granny cluster grannies 👵

put a marker in each corner so you won't get lost. My sister did the same until she put markers in a bright yarn so she knew where each corner was.

I wonder how often little Scottish kids get confused by the contrast between "big" (English: large) and "beag" (Scots Gaelic: small)

They don't teach Gaelic in our schools anymore (only a few teach it)
