    Me: ugh this move is burning my arms..
    Cassey: "I know its okay I'm burning too!"

    Cassey: "Don't worry we're almost done!"

    Actually completely collapsed during the full tricep dip. I didn't want to give up, but my arms just gave out! I'm going to keep coming back to this because it's a great workout. Good movements, good for the muscles, but doesn't exhaust you. Also such a great host!

    • @crazy4pink16
      @crazy4pink16 9 лет назад +4

      That is the lactic acid that is building up, trust me it is good. Lactic acid will help form the muscle, you just have to fight through it. Trust me, the results will be well worth it!

    • @lienschuur4897
      @lienschuur4897 9 лет назад +4

      Erica A Lactic acid will not help form muscle tissue. The pain you feel a day or two days later is the pain that tells you your muscles are getting stronger. Lactic acid is just waste that will dissapear within a few hours. You have to fight through this, to obtain the real sore muscles. You become stronger because you get small tears in your muscles that repair themselves. Every time a tear is repaired, it is 'coming back' a bit stronger than it was before you did the workout. The tears are what burns after a day, and what shows you get more muscle tissue.

    • @betterhealthbetterlife4912

      You'll get there! I have all kinds of issues that have made any form of exercise a nightmare for me, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and degenerative disc issues of the spine (and more!), but I am getting better every day in my strength and YOU WILL TOO! Don't give up - you can do this!! Focus on what you CAN do, and DON'T focus on what you cannot do - this was a mistake I made for years, depressed about what I could not do, and it is not helpful. It sets you back to think that way. I now focus on the small improvements I see in myself - even though I have to modify most moves, do less, take breaks a lot, etc. However, by focusing on my small successes, I feel proud, and thus encouraged to keep pushing myself! There are some moves I cannot do AT ALL, and if I catch myself getting upset over it, I quickly redirect my focus to what I can do. If I can't do a move at all, even modified, I take a break, or I stretch, or I just do another move that I CAN do, whether the move I substitute works the same muscles or not. At least I am doing SOMEthing! Be positive, and say out loud that you are proud of your improvements, your resolve, and you WILL get there! (And, if it's any consolation, I have never been able to do one either lol...but I WILL get there one of these days! For now, I go as low as I can - which, frankly, is millimeters lol, and I can hardly do more than one or two...but, I am trying, and that is what matters.)
      Best to you. Peace.

    Cassey you should be proud; my nose was itching throughout the tricep dips and I didn't stop and scratch it!

    Just proves that good things can happen through bad things. I just found out about your videos because of the negative comments people were saying about you. Just subscribed to your channel today. I wasn't able to keep up with all these moves, so I just took small breaks in between or modified them to make them a little easier. Going to be checking out your other videos in the days to come.
