It’s ok. It brings tears to my eyes too. Lots of soldiers in my family. Very proud of them. Great song by Home Free. Loved Tim’s low notes, loved the echoes. Tim and Chance looked ghost like in the windows. Good reaction!
That song is very sobering and very reverent that we can all come to unity on. If we can harmonize as people like Home Free does singing this song we would have a good start. ❣
If you guys get a chance to see them live, it is an experience. When Tim, Chance, and Adam all go low, my skin vibrated, it felt like a clench in the chest, press you back in your seat. R.I.P. to ALL My Brothers In Arms! God Bless America!
Loved the reaction. To go along with your sentiment of us all coming together.... I strongly recommend the Home Free cover of Everybody Walkin This Land! And please make sure to play the video all the way to the end of Tim's message. You'll appreciate it! ❤
Home Free always pays appropriate respect in their covers--especially to the content! Their talent is amazing--and I LOVE their 5-part harmony❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Such a genius touch to show the silhouette of the fellas in front of the window. I know some see it as a "ghost"y reference but it strikes me as a reflection of the POW/MIA flag. We'll never know just how many of those met the same fate as the soldier of this song. 😥
I think the various media believe that emphasizing divisiveness sells newspapers and broadcasting. You'll seldom see media coverage of harmony because they don't think that's dramatic enough to encourage readership/viewership. I love their rendition of this song - it's hauntingly beautiful. The chorusing between the 2nd and 3rd verses reminds me of people keening at a funeral.
Ethereal. Haunting. Gut wrenching. Soul stirring. Angelic. The only thing missing was the seraphic choir backing them up. Excuse me while I track down my soul and stuff it back into my body...
You have won yourself a new subscriber. Peace to you, from out here in the wilds of Kentucky! Now, I want you to react to their Everybody Walking this Land. Please? A favor to an old woman.
Don't get embarrassed by showing emotion with tears. It's totally appropriate and manly. Other male reactors have the same reaction to this song, even people from other countries. This is a British song by Dire Straits about the Falklands War. The British especially feel a connection to this song. It is a deeply moving song about the division among people as you have expressed in your comments. Good reaction.
I always liked the Dire Straits version, but I only got really interested in this song through Home Free. Although I have to be honest I think the guitar playing of the Dire Straits is phenomenal But this version of Home Free will send shivers through your entire body! This is so emotional. Beautifully sung by Tim and Chance, but the background and harmony of Adam, Rob and Austin is also so beautiful. It looks like a choir or actually a kind of church organ sounds. And the whole setting of the video is just amazing. Simple but with so many details that makes it so profound
Powerful
Beautiful Song, Love Home Free and Love Your Reactions ❤

One of their most beautiful songs. Another like this one is "Helplessly Hoping". For something more upbeat and fun, try "Hillbilly Bone".

This is why Homefree is my favorite accapela group.
One of the things I love about them is their ability to make you feel whether it is laughing or crying, you are feeling it. Enjoy

Home Free at their best. This is my favorite by them. So good.
The more tears you show, the more soul you have. Be proud of that!!!
Home Free wrote a song just about that subject, Undivided. They agree with you.
Thank you very much for reacting to this heartfelt song. You handled it very well. A lot of men handle it the same way. Thank you.

Bass singers sound like a soul that crawled out of Hell. Beautiful and deep!
You should listen to Home Free singing Undevided
A Dire Straits song !!!!
PTX isn't the same since Avi Kaplan left. Overproduced. Home Free is the best!
