This is a true A Capella masterpiece. They sounded like a true horn section at times, and then an organ as you suggested. The video was as brilliant as their performance. Notice how they were ghosted when silhouetted in the windows as if they already passed on into the afterlife.
This is such an emotional song and the content is still relevant. The harmonies are absolutely fantastic and Tim and Chance's voices are phenomenal. These guys do a damn good job! Wow 💥
There's power in music! Home Free has once again put out a message that many people didn't know they needed to hear. Their unapologetic approach to patriotism and messages about sensitive social issues have earned my respect! They are consistently opening up conversations across the globe! May we all continue to be blessed with their talents and their beautiful hearts! Great reaction!
You're a badass .... Love your channel and personality .... I'm prior Army, Special Operations, combat in Iraq.(from Texas, so you and I talk similar, love the accent, just regular to me) ... You are a patriot and really good at music ... Keep coming with videos ... You're killing it
Thank you Jeffrey! This sounds " Holy " to me! First time I heard it I was broke down and couldn't stop crying! Breathless! Made me think of my Daddy who was a decorated WW2 veteran that was lost that I never had the chance to get to know! War is so tragic and so full of horror. Like a nightmare and for many the nightmare never ends and they can never wake-up from it. PTSD! This is the best performance I've ever seen and heard as far as emotionally conveying a message. Tim's bass sets the tone perfectly and the contrast between him and Austin's high tenor notes is so beautiful! The harmonies are PERFECTION! The arrangement is absolutely brilliant, the videography is fantastic with the lighting. The darkness and the way the light illuminates there bodies almost seems ghostly. I Love everything about it! Truly Phenomenal! I love how Home Free gives appreciation and respect to our military and support of our soldiers. Tim has supported our soldiers for many years and performed at multiple shows and benefit programs and is a big supportive of the Wounded Warrior Project! He and Austin recently did a concert to support at risk veterans and raise funds to benefit that organization. Home Free are more than extremely talented they are just Amazing and Wonderful people!
Haunting, REVERENCE, to all those who have died for this country. The 100th of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is 11/11, this is their song. Thank you for your reaction.
Thank you for reacting to Home Free and this haunting song. Tim and Chance brought the feels into this song and Adam Rob and Austin laid down amazing background. Thank you again.
Sounds like every line in your palms. This is stunning. Just so well done. The harmonies are amazing. Loved the echoes. Loved the video too. Tim and Chance look ghost like in the windows. Just awesome! Good reaction Jeffrey!
As Tim says...."Two things": 1). As the daughter of a WW2 vet and the mother of a Marine who fought in Iraq, this song hits home to me, and 2). I have done a fair amount of singing with pipe organs for accompaniment, and there are parts of this that sound very much like one....but those last 2 notes? EXACTLY like a pipe organ. Shout-out to their arranger, as well. These guys work theirs butts off. So much work goes into rehearsing and recording a video like this. Good reaction. I'm a new subscriber.
HF brings you to another world with their harmonies, don’t they? Sadly, these lyrics are so appropriate for now. The only way that ‘they’ can maintain power is to pit us against each other. If we all realize who the real enemy is, and we all stand up together, their power is gone.
Watch that "did not desert me, my brothers in arms" again his silhouette makes a reverse of the POW/MIA flag. Also, the fact that they filmed HF as deceased soldiers singing to the living... whith the windows shining through their ghostly bodies....
This anti-war song was put out by Dire Straits during the Vietnam War. Then, it was laid out by masterful, plaintive guitar work. Here, it is the power of Home Free's vocals that carry the message and even more effectively I would say.
Same thing came to my mind too.. Misty Mountains. Tim did a straight out misty mountains end in there. One part sounds like Peter Hollins and his layering during Misty MMountains. Absolutely love this.
My man, you took me straight to church today. Even if the song was about something else, the pure musical greatness here would break me up. Some beauty is almost too much to bear, even on Earth..
The harmonies between the 2nd and 3rd verse - perhaps because of the various notes of "aaaa" - make me think of sustained wailing. It's such a beautiful sad song that it's almost an elegy. They've taken the Dire Straits song about the Falklands war and upgraded it. Love your reactions and channel.
Such a genius touch to show the silhouette of the fellas in front of the window. I know some see it as a "ghost"y reference but it strikes me as a reflection of the POW/MIA flag. We'll never know just how many of those met the same fate as the soldier of this song. 😥
If you look at this video, you can see they are all dead men singing because you can see through them with the light from the windows; singing their truths. Masterfully done.l
Jeffrey with respect your OTHER VIDEO about the flag I'd love to hear you listen to RED SKELTON's Pledge Of Allegiance which is available on youtube. I was in grade school circa early 1960"s?? when he did it live on his variety show I think it is a video that should be shown in every school at least once a month. and to EVERY FLAMING SCHOOL BOARD in the states.!!! ALways enjoy your reactions and look forward to seeing you do RED's !! Luv Ya Brother SALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLUTE !!
I am making this request from my favorite reactors. November is Alzheimers awareness month so could you please react to Glenn Campbell's final recording after being diagnosed with Alzheimers in his early 70s? It is I'm Not Gonna Miss You dedicated to all affected by this horrid disease.
Lets Go Mississippi Boy 👍🇺🇸 Biden left 13 unecessary soldier deaths behind and our decades long interpreters, dogs, and US citizens! Not to mention our military tech. Lets Go Brandon and FJB! I loves me some Mississippi Patriot reaction 👍🇺🇸
I agree this is a masterpiece
Blown away, just blown away!!😢
Omg the harmony.great job guys 🥰😍🥰😍🥰
The harmonies sound like a pipe organ! Great reaction!
This song will get you straight in the heart.
Really appreciate your words ending this!!!
This is a true A Capella masterpiece. They sounded like a true horn section at times, and then an organ as you suggested. The video was as brilliant as their performance. Notice how they were ghosted when silhouetted in the windows as if they already passed on into the afterlife.
That bass, along with their harmony does sound like an organ playing in an empty room that echos. Haunting.
I listened to the audio before but with the visuals.....omg.
I know MLD did a reaction to the audio only version before. It's an amazing accomplishment. Take care all.
There is no other group that compares to Home Free when it comes to harmony stunning just stunning
That's not true. Voice Play is just as good. So is Pentatonix.
This is such an emotional song and the content is still relevant. The harmonies are absolutely fantastic and Tim and Chance's voices are phenomenal. These guys do a damn good job! Wow 💥
Many deeper paths you can go down with this one…hauntingly beautiful!

This song was written and performed in the 80s by Dire Straits after the Falklands War. I recommend watching their video for this.

Haunting, Mesmerizing, Magical and a Beautiful Masterpice.
I thought I had heard their best .... until this ! Simply stunning !! Thanks for your great reaction .
Song is 🔥🔥🔥 thank you for your reaction 😊
This song reminds us the cost of our freedom. Freedom isn't free
Mr. Lockdown I knew you would like this when I saw it too. I had to suggest it for a reaction video. Thank you sir.
Hope all is well with you. Love Home Free!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
God Bless you for your reaction Sir.
Tims last three notes definitely sounds like a pipe organ. What a great song.
Haunting, REVERENCE, to all those who have died for this country. The 100th of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is 11/11, this is their song. Thank you for your reaction.
Powerful. Thanks Jeffery Fry!
This song is so beautiful and Home Free made a stunning version of it. Tim really bring out the feels here

Tim and Chance appear ghostly in this haunting video.
The harmonies sound like a pipe organ.
Their message goes right to the soul.

Mega lockdown, my American brother in arms. All the best to you and yours. I enjoy your reactions 👍.
It's the Song of a dying Soldier.
The line where you asked what did he (Tim) say …… “every line in your palms”.
My man, you took me straight to church today. Even if the song was about something else, the pure musical greatness here would break me up. Some beauty is almost too much to bear, even on Earth..
Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely amazing!!! Say heyyyyy to the Mrs! We always miss her.
Great input❣🥰
I Love these guys Tim's range is unbelievable. You should react to their How Great Thou Art or Ring of Fire with Avi Kaplan.
They sound like the hurt, and the knowing and they sing unto the Lord in my feelings!
The echo is amazing. This song has surpassed everything done by HF before. So beautiful and haunting.
This should have won a lot of awards but sadly probably didn't. When Chance sang you did not desert me my Brothers in Arms it gets me every time 😢
❤❤
this is Dan from Mississippi and Discord ... nice to meet you ... live in Ridgeland ... glad to have you part of Discord now ...

They did this for the 50th of the Tomb Of The Un Know Soilder
100?
You, are the master reactor.
If you look at this video, you can see they are all dead men singing because you can see through them with the light from the windows; singing their truths. Masterfully done.l

Oh my... your response to this song is precisely opposite to its meaning and spirit. 😥
"We're fools to make war on our brothers in arms."
