Beat Saber - Over The Top (Surviving Expert)

- This is different from the others I've posted. When I played this song initially, it was the first song I could not complete on Expert+ and I was determined to overcome it. It took a while to get to a point that I could actually complete the song all the way through, one mistake on those strings will kill you pretty quick. The community has been consistently putting out songs with increasing difficulty, but I think I'm doing an ok job keeping up.
This is actually the first video I edited and rendered myself. I figured I couldn't rely on others to make these videos if I want them done on a regular basis, which is definitely happening because I was just approved to monetize my videos!
Thank you to everyone that's been watching my videos and subscribing! I just hit monetization status, meaning a lot more videos will be coming soon. I invested in a green screen for the studio, as well as a new web cam, so hopefully I'll be able to pump out a couple videos a week moving forward. This was the last of the footage I had recorded during our initial mixed reality test, and now that I'm all set up we can try and make this a consistent thing.

Haha thank you! I appreciate that :) they're knocked EV3s, and so far they're my favorite VR controllers. Highly recommend them when they come out

WOW this song is nuts! Your arms must hurt as hell! I just but the game couple days ago and i cant overcome any song on expert+ but i finished all in expert, some with no misses even. Any advice to be freeking fast?
Hmm, try practicing incorporating your wrists into the slashes more. Using your entire arm is much slower and takes more energy

Does someone know if custom songs online are available in Beat Saber for PS4?
Unfortunately they're not. Ps4 just isn't available for modding the way pc is

I must say I'm biased to VR. Beat saber has a long road map planned full of releases. They've said they plan on releasing free songs consistently, along with 3 or 4 10-pack song bundles in the near future. But with VR you have access to many more interesting games where as the guitar locks you in

Ah I wish I owned the console to play them myself! I can only go off trailers when it comes to exclusives, but there are a few that are cross platform that I know are solid. You can't go wrong with SUPER HOT, Arizona Sunshine is phenomenal, Sprint Vector is exhausting and exhilarating, Rick and Morty and Accounting+ are fun to explore, and rec room is a great multilayer experience all around. Borderlands VR, Farpoint, and Tetris Effect seem like a lot of fun to me but I haven't played them. I hope you do get a headset, I love showing it to my friends and getting lost in new worlds
Great job passing that! Unfortunately I couldn’t watch the whole thing because songs with so much aren’t any fun to watch or play. For me anyway. There are a lot of songs I can do on expert but they are so fast I get worn out too quickly. So on those I stick with the hard levels. Some songs on expert are much more fun but not all of them. I like to be able to play for long periods of time though. Anyway, if you make some more videos with songs that are fun to watch and play I’ll watch them. :)

Honestly not the kind of music I listen to either, but the difficulty of the map was enticing enough for me to want to play it a ton
Majority of the songs with high beats per minute and note jump speed sound like this or have a ridiculous fast beat edm style. There are so many that this song is actually one of the better ones to listen to.
