Spent 16 days at Resorts World last last summer when they first opened. 8 days at the Conrad in their biggest suite (1 bedroom suite iirc) and then 8 days at Crockford in a 1 bedroom suite… anyway, I was the very first guest to ever stay in those rooms at both hotels. I know that’s not a great story but it made the experience even cooler! It made it all the more enjoyable for some reason. Been back 5 times since and even though it’s a property that lacks character, is isolated, and lacks the Vegas buzz and excitement, I think in time it will get there. This video series has been great. I'm a big Venetian/Palazzo fan and have never had a reason to stay anywhere else. I thought Resorts World lacks character, so I 100% agree that it has no soul. But... after seeing this video, I might have to give Crockfords a chance. You've sold it to me!
You know how I feel about Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo - they are my perennially ranked #1 and #2 properties. RW is right behind them. Stroll over there for dinner/evening or even for a weekend. It's a fantastic alternative and a great change of scenery (something us Vegas regulars need).
Excellent review! Probably one of your 5 top one's ever! Great job! Looking forward to your entry into cruise reviews! You will have the time of your life!
Great reviews and videos of all 3 Resorts World properties, you seem to have enjoyed your stay. I will be staying at Encore before the end of the year. I know a chef at one of the restaurants at Resorts World, so I will go over there and check it out for pre drinks at Alle Lounge on 66, followed by dinner either Carversteak, Wally's or Brezza, then follow up with perhaps 1 or 2 drinks at either Gatsby's, Jalisco Underground, or Eight Cigar Lounge. You have almost covered all of Las Vegas's better hotels, I think you only have to stay at the Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Palms, Rio, Red Rock, and Tropicana to complete your Las Vegas list. I know you are going to Cancun next, just be ready for the traffic after you leave the downtown area in the evening, no one will tell you this but there is only 1 way in and 1 way out of downtown depending on where you are staying, last time I was there, took an hour plus for our driver to come and get us from less than 1 mile away, completely packed with tour buses and cars starting at about 9pm at night until 4am+. Just be prepared for this! There is a great grocery store near downtown, it is 2 stories and has all of your essentials, I believe it is named Chedraui Selecto. Congrats on your continuing success!
I am so wanting to go! And definitely agree on the kids thing, “Go to Disney World. Go to Six Flags!” 😅. Great video James and thank you for what you do!

While the Resorts Restaurants may be new modern and stylish. Wynn Encore Restaurants are elegant with outstanding service and food . I rate Mizumis decor the best in Vegas
I love wine and Wally's looks fantastic. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echezeaux and 2010 Chateau Margaux by the glass? Wow. I'll be staying at Wynn next month, I think I just might head down the street and pop in to Wally's one night.
@@patr70 the wine is one of my favorite things about visiting Vegas. I'm used to seeing extensive and really good bottle lists at the Strip restaurants I've been to, but I've been a little let down by a lot of the by the glass lists I've seen.
I knew you would IMMEDIATELY recognize and respect the Wines by the glass and Wally's. Beyond incredibly impressive. Just think what the bottle list is like... 😉
Stayed at their one bedroom suite back in July and loved it. Not as great as The Aria's Corner Sky Suite but I would stay at that room again in a heartbeat.
The Michelin Star chef that owns and runs Caviar Bar disagrees - he classifies it as Red Caviar. I'll defer to him. black caviar can only come from Sturgeon, but there are other varieties are caviar besides black.
@@Coolist not trying to argue but, merely to educate. Sad to see that chef Shaun will classify it as “red caviar” which simply is a marketing ploy. I’ve never ever seen salmon roe served as “red caviar” when I travelled to Russia or Iran. Even local to the US, Petrossian would never classify salmon roe as caviar. To each his own I guess. I would be flabbergasted if Emirates or Qatar served me salmon roe as caviar. That’s like calling sparking cider champagne lol
Trying to educate me? The Michelin star chef? It was listed as red caviar on the menu and I accurately relayed it as such in this video. I've seen the term red caviar many times and although i agree it isn't the quintessential caviar most of us think of, the term is prevalent and accepted. Is roe caviar? Most would say know, but I know highly respected chefs that do say yes. I personally consider black sturgeon caviar to be the only true caviar (like you), but some brilliant foodies and mega respected caviar companies disagree.
There’s a saying “all caviars are roe but, not all roe are caviar”. Same with Kobe beef, all kobe beef are wagyu but not all wagyu are kobe. I never said that I’m trying to educate you or the chef.
Vegas is a great stop for us on road trips and my kids enjoy it. However I pick hotels based on that. My favorite with the kids is Mandalay Bay. Got to pick the right vibe. However my kids are teens and tweens
James, you have some life. How can you afford all this? What do you do for a living? Do you work? Don't you get lonely traveling and going to these restaurants alone? Do you mind sitting by yourself? Aren't you subconscious that people are staring at you? What do you do while waiting for your drinks and food to arrive? Look at the walls? Just curious. Keep up the great video output.
I'm chuckling over "divey sticks". I hear you on people bringing children to a grown and sexy vacation like Las Vegas. Another great video, sir. No one does this quite the way you do it.
Absolute dittos on the "kids in Vegas" take. I'll never understand it. Beautiful footage as always. I'm assuming the restaurants in the video are not exclusive to Crockfords guest's?
I tend to agree with you on the kids. I go to Vegas about twice a year and I'm always amazed at the # of kids. I don't know why anyone would bring kids to Vegas.
@Joel Dodds lol. I do have kids. I've never taken them to Vegas though. We would vacation at Disney or somewhere there aren't naked showgirls, excessive drinking & gambling everywhere you look. 😘
@Joel Dodds is all good. I just think if you are taking your kids on vacation, there are alot more kid friendly places to go. Vegas has always been more of an adult playground. I know There are things for kids families so do... Just my thoughts. 🙂
Locals have kids too and we like staycations as much as people like vacations , a lot of people’s love from Vegas is from trips their parent a brought them on when they were kids . So many family friendly and kid centered things not only in Vegas but on the strip .
I don't think vegas is a bad place to take kids. I've taken my kid, but there are definitely family hotels that are more kid friendly hotels like Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. I wouldn't take a kid to the linq, golden nugget, resorts world etc.
Totally understand your perspective, but my daughter loves Vegas. I think it is a great place for families to bond and relax together. As always, your videos are top notch! Keep traveling and making me jealous...
I’m not an alcoholic nor am I a gambler I always take my kids to Vegas because my family did the same for me it’s the best place for families in the world. If your goal is to go to Vegas and drink you probably need AA

I really enjoy your videos very knowledgeable and done professionally. Kinda of a personal question but I would like to know the brand of T-Shirt you are wearing? They look high quality and classy. Can you please share the brand name. I understand if you would like to keep it to yourself but I think they look great. Thank you and I appreciate your videos.
Staying at Conrad next month.
Boom 💥. Have an awesome stay
I stayed at resort world earlier this month.. I didn't know there was a separate entrance for Crawford...😅
sounds like he had a great time
While the Resorts Restaurants may be new modern and stylish. Wynn Encore Restaurants are elegant with outstanding service and food . I rate Mizumis decor the best in Vegas
Mizumi is indescribably incredible 😎
Haha, the kids comment had me crying!! 🤣 🤣
😎
Also very nice Sports Bar!
Outstanding brother and thank you.
Thanks Edwin!! 🙌
Big hi from Kelowna B.C. Such a great video!! Thank you.
Yo!! I should visit BC one of these days.
Thanks for the support Oramac 🤝
my step mother in law is the executive chef at brezza! That comes with its own perks but that place has the best italian food!
I love wine and Wally's looks fantastic. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echezeaux and 2010 Chateau Margaux by the glass? Wow. I'll be staying at Wynn next month, I think I just might head down the street and pop in to Wally's one night.
Wine Snobs love Las Vegas becuase thet have a hefty inventory at the restaurants on the strip.
@@Coolist The Burgundy you were drinking appealed to me as well. And I''m drooling over that chicken dish, too.
That was an interesting observation about the layout - as I think about it I have to agree.
Best layout for sure ✨
As a diamond Hilton member my experience at rw was amazing
It was hilarious having Psycho there
No bathtub? Room seems smaller than Conrad at the same building
Looks nice
Stayed at their one bedroom suite back in July and loved it. Not as great as The Aria's Corner Sky Suite but I would stay at that room again in a heartbeat.
It's a great property
nice review. Salmon roe is not caviar. For a roe to be classified as caviar, it needs to be from the sturgeon family.
Nice to know. Thanks
You'd need 60 days just to experience everything there. I was there and it was exhausting just walking around.
I'm chuckling over "divey sticks". I hear you on people bringing children to a grown and sexy vacation like Las Vegas. Another great video, sir. No one does this quite the way you do it.
If there is smoke free hotel /casino’s? Can you or did you do a video on them?
Absolute dittos on the "kids in Vegas" take. I'll never understand it. Beautiful footage as always. I'm assuming the restaurants in the video are not exclusive to Crockfords guest's?
Huh? What about the kids?
@@kovy689 did you watch the video?
@@dandeely1000 Yes..
All of the restaurants in all three of my videos are open to Anyone. I just increased the luxury in each chapter...
@@Coolist I'm thinking I could maybe just spend an entire trip at Wally's!
The Steak Tartare at Wally's is amazing too
I bet! You know much I love and order steak tartare 🤤. Wally's menu was so impressive that I didn't even compelled to do so! Next time, however.... 😎
Next time try a more premium caviar. Beluga or Ossetra
@Joel Dodds nice. I will have to say... It's probably cheaper to take her to Vegas than Disney. Prices just went up again.
Locals have kids too and we like staycations as much as people like vacations , a lot of people’s love from Vegas is from trips their parent a brought them on when they were kids . So many family friendly and kid centered things not only in Vegas but on the strip .
One day, when you mature a bit and have children, I bet you still come to Vegas 😆 you’re slightly addicted I think.
Good video but you should have used that $200 (Slots) on some better caviar lol.
You are so right! That mistake will not happen in the future. Next time it is caviar instead 💯
When you were at the hotel on the weekend did anybody know that the casino got robbed?????
Planning 4 nights next fall. You sold me on 2 at resorts world!
The layouts seem to be the same at each hotel brand. The only difference are the furnishings.
$155 for a tasting menu
especially for a fancy place like that? Seems like a good deal.
That's exactly what I thought
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No Vegas hotel is officially open until there’s a Coolist video on it
😎
I don't think vegas is a bad place to take kids. I've taken my kid, but there are definitely family hotels that are more kid friendly hotels like Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. I wouldn't take a kid to the linq, golden nugget, resorts world etc.
For me the one negative, I think it's the best restaurant serving Chinese food!
You should go to Red Rock Resort.
Next summer - I'm trying to fit in my schedule
Totally understand your perspective, but my daughter loves Vegas. I think it is a great place for families to bond and relax together. As always, your videos are top notch! Keep traveling and making me jealous...
Yo Christian - you're a good dude, I can tell 😎
Are there any smoke free hotel / casinos in Vegas?
Park at MGM
I’m not an alcoholic nor am I a gambler I always take my kids to Vegas because my family did the same for me it’s the best place for families in the world. If your goal is to go to Vegas and drink you probably need AA
thx for the vid
I'm with you about the kids and they get rob of not having fun
You hit the nail on the head with lacking soul. It really does.
