I'm proud of you Danny. First step is calling your channel, "Food and Travel with Danny the Medic." Next will come, "Food and Travel, Fame and Fortune with Danny the Medic." Drinking tap water with your meals and all that gambling got you those comps You've worked hard and deserve it all. To honor you, I'm thinking of naming my next dog after you. I'll name him Danny, not Danny the Medic. I want to keep his name short.
The Nespressos/Keurig coffees should be free. You should use it! You can always call the reception and ask if you're not sure. Don't waste them! And the bunny is a free gift, bring it home to give it to your nieces.
Resorts World is a great way to spend your points accumulated from Hilton Honors stays. The redeemable rooms are a relative bargain compared to mid tier hotels in the chain. As a gold or diamond member , you get tons of perks without ever having to gamble. Definitely worth a look when planning a trip to Vegas. The Hilton Honors deal often compares favorably to MGM or Caesars rewards bookings especially if you dont gamble!
The thumbnail cracked me up! See what being an incorrigible gambler can get you? I was staying at random hotels about a year ago and got a great one-night Resorts World deal ($55 before resort fee) at the Conrad, and because their system was down, they upgraded me to a strip view suite. It seemed unnecessarily large (walk-in closet!) but almost as luxurious as your room. And I bought coffee pods at the Walgreens across the street so they wouldn't charge me for the ones in the room.
When you order granola for room service breakfast, you use that vibrating gadget to break up the bigger chunks of oats that stick together. Yep. An amazing gadget.
Nice comp! The Crockford is part of the Hilton portfolio. I just checked the rates for a random night in January. The same room they gave you could be as low as $275 per night. If you are Hilton Gold and above, you are supposed to get breakfast or a food and beverage credit. I wouldn't stay there at the price they quoted you. But, I definitely would stay there on points or if the room was a little cheaper.
DTFM=Danny The Fancy Medic. Some people might get the wrong idea and think it stands for something else..."Food and Travel guys, Food and Travel...what's wrong with you guys...ahhh tap water."
Thanks for the great review. I wanted to see the "City View" from your $500/night room. I agree 100% on your views on the value of a place to do your business and rest your head.
Very posh indeed. Would I pay for a stay at Crockfords? The answer is absolutely yes if I can comfortably afford it. Just remember everyone, you can’t take your money with you. I hope you have some videos of you eating at some of the restaurants and food stalls at Resorts World.
$1,301.60 for 2 nights is $650.80 a night. I like the location because the Peppermill restaurant is right across the strip. It is also located where the Stardust used to be which was where my brother and I stayed during our first visit to Vegas. Can you do a Peppermill video? I could stay here if just for 2 or 3 nights since I haven't spent any money on Vegas for over 3 years.
Wow, What a nice room. It would probably take me a few hrs just to learn how to use the fancy high-tech controls in the room. Good for that you were able to book this beautiful suite. 👍
Looks to have to strong Asian theme. Is the Crockford at Resort World owned by a Huge Asian conglomerate? Btw- love your thumb nail. I clicked immediately to see DTM in a bathrobe and head-wrap.
Very Nice, Danny! I’ve stayed there twice at the Conrad level. Yooz a playa! I have not been for too long so now my offers for the Hilton. I had a Deluxe King on a floor in the 50’s facing tRump. Your upgrades are the coffee (that’s a comp) the massager (comp for use don’t take it it’s at least $400) the sound bar on the TV mine was 65” (Hilton is 55”). The higher ceiling and motorized curtains. The fancier toiletries though mine were fine. I tipped and got mouthwash. I got dinged the resort fee on the comp, did you? Oh, that massager is for muscles, use it on “delicate” areas and you may have issues going forward. I have a not so fancy version. Use it on you calves after a long day on your feet and it’s great. On your back too the triangle shape helps you do your own back. The stuffed animal is a comp, Conrad has duckies but I never got one at RW. My brother is Hilton Diamond he’s my source for Hilton things. Oh get your stays are you HHonors? You can also use your iPhone as your key and your Apple Watch does something too. I forgot what though. Lady Luck once gave a tour of her suite there. OMG. She a serious “playa”. Enjoy your stay and if it’s not nailed down or on a sensor and not electronic, it’s generally free. Unless there’s a sign with the price like the robes. But you can use them! Fancyyyy. Enjoy your stay. Joe Oh yeah my TP wasn’t gift wrapped. LOL
@@dannythemedic Awesome, you are at a much higher level than me. I generally like the place and it’s the first Hilton I’ve earned points at since The Las Vegas Hilton. Been awhile. I used to travel for my job. But stayed on my own when LV was full of Hiltons. Points and upgrades beyond the comp. Enjoy if you’re still in town! Joe
Yes the items in your bathroom are for you to use and possibly the coffee machine. I wouldn’t drink the bottled water or soda they probably not complimentary unless it’s noted somewhere?
No, he said $1300 for 2 nights after taxes and resort fees. However still it is ridiculous how much they are charging, as you can do much better for Aria skysuites or MGM grand skylofts for the same price with much nicer suites and lofts
So fancy room! Love the bathroom walls and esp the coffee machine. This style of capsule coffee is so nice. I hope you try it. Wow detachable shower head. Yesterday I was telling myself I won't go to Vegas so soon but after this n a Luchini restaurant video it's tempting! 🎉
If you get a nice pair of leather dress shoes that fit properly, eventually the leather stretch where you need it and become a custom fit. Better fit than any of my running shoes.
Checked their website at LV R W and it varied $200 TO $300 dble Q per night on a weds . Maybe they will comp you free play difference? Enjoyed the elegance and appreciation of the hotel and video.
Glad you received the comp but the price is too much for this retiree--besides, if I make it to Vegas I would be too busy gambling and seeing the sites to spend time in an expensive room.
Crockford is top of the line for the Hilton umbrella.IMO Resorts World is a bit isolated and the food court is way overpriced. This place will be playing catch-up when the Fountainblue opens
I really liked Crockfords, but I will be honest… about an hour of gambling, then dinner I was bored. I usually stay at Vdara and go wandering around in the evening… can't really do that here unless you want to go to Tacos El Gordo
The Bunny is to celebrate the Lunar Calendar Year of the Rabbit, which you should know. We stayed at the less posh Hilton at Resorts World last February, celebrating Chinese NY.
Is this the comp nights after you matched at Ocean in Atlantic City ? I know you mention about 2 comp nights at resort world from Ocean Prime, it is nice they give you Crockford, i thought the comp nights are for hilton or Conrad
@@dannythemedic Danny, I am going to Atlantic city on Wednesday, I have MGM gold and unity icon, so should I go to hard rock first to use MGM gold match to wild card rock royalty or go to Ocean first and use Unity icon to match to Ocean Prime so I can have the free dinner at Avila lounge ?
Looked at the hotel website and they said there's light refreshments and snacks in the lobby -- " Private lobby experience with complimentary light snacks and beverages" - what do they serve?
I said the same thing… I had 4 FNC's with amex/ Hilton so I stayed there during SEMA. Got upgraded to the one room suite, Via AMEX. The retail would have been $850 a night that week, no way would I ever pay that.

Fancy lobby, but where is Panda Express ? 😂 Imagine Danny bringing take-out food back in the room and eating so carefully, not dripping anywhere or his robe.
One time while staying at the Ritz Carlton, i was bringing a bucket of fried chicken back to the room. Let's just say some of the folks in the elevator looked at me jealously.
Resorts World got rid of that stupid breakfast buffet. I hope you find something good to eat. Next time you see that coffee machine, try it. Nespresso is delicious!

It’s absolutely beautiful & looks very clean but $1300 for 2 nights is way too much. I guess if you can comfortably afford it, then why not but it’s still a bit much…😊
Comp yeah I’d stay there too but to pay, not a chance. We don’t spend any time in the room except to sleep. We don’t want sketchy but sure aren’t spending money just to sleep. And to your comment idk why they wore such uncomfortable shoes. Well do you think the corsets women wore were comfortable???!’ lol We are lucky we live in a time comfortable is a part of dress or at least they try to. Back then it was all abt presentation. People didn’t step out for their paper not dressed to the hilt let alone to the store. We have gotten so sloppy and gross. Those past generations would be aghast at what we wear.

Beautiful hotel. You have to be a high roller to get that room comped for two nights.
That room looked very nice. The weekday price...YIKES!! A double Yikes for the weekend. 😅😅😅

I am just like you DANNY. Don’t value over luxury especially if I have to pay for it. Clean and tidy is good enough.
Don't touch the mirrored elevator doors anymore. That might be considered a part of your incidentals😅🎉

Holy crap that's super duper fancy. Don't touch nothing,
Crockfords weekend nights are typically $450 per night for the standard room. $1300 for two nights during the week is BS
