    Normally I say, "Don't mess with any Chaplin film!!" But just for experimental sake, it is kind of cool to transport us into a past time in a way that immerses one into the moment.

    Not a perfect version of colourization but far better than when Ted Turner tried to do that to the MGM film library back in the 90s.

    didn't the Chaplin Office come after you yet?
    it looks far too lush and sunny....for the dream scene an argument can be made for colour but certainly not for the rest of the film..Chaplin could easily have made colour films from The Great Dictator onwards but he didn't..respect that
