Thanks for watching!
Concise emails are wonderful to receive as well, they always catch my attention because I appreciate the senders respect for my time.
It's great to hear that you appreciate this approach. Keep up the good work
That's a brilliant letter...two that's rights...a request and a postive end
25:00 for a gem email
One thing i like to do is use "i'm sorry/i'm afraid" when i actually deliver good news. It does something interesting. Curtesy of my joker of an uncle🤣🙏
1 hour and 18 minutes of pure gold

1:14:20 Narc Bait, I do exactly what she does with the accusations audit too:
I’m afraid This is going to make me sound like a know it all
you might even think I lack of empathy that I’m playing the victim and It’s going to sound like complaining like a child
you may even feel I have an inability to handle criticism so i’m almost embarrassed to bring this up with you..
*I-Message*
I’m sorry, How bad of a position do I put you in by saying Whenever you yell at me I feel hurt since I don’t understand how would you do differently if you were in my shoes?
- The Best Regards
*Dynamic Silence*, then subsequently and potentially Saying No (Respectfully) with a Lasting Impression (then walk away.)
I just sent an email using this strategy. I hope it works. I want an extension on a project. Frankly, even though I wrote it, I would grant me what I asked for.
Would it be ridiculous to ask for an update on the email?
@@HowtoRestoreHeadlights It would not be ridiculous.
I got what I wanted and the person was happy to accommodate.
'However' is better than but
First commenter:) "less is more" 🎉 who else believes Chris would be right⁉️
- 📧 Keep emails concise; aim for less than five lines whenever possible.
- 💡 Focus on one point or tactic per email to avoid overwhelming recipients.
- 📝 Warn recipients if there's bad news coming; provide empathy to soften the impact.
- 🎭 Understand that emails carry tones that may be interpreted differently.
- 🗣 Read emails aloud to gauge tone; use softeners like "I'm sorry" to mitigate harshness.
- ✔ Finish emails positively and truthfully to resolve issues collaboratively.
- 🤝 End emails positively to leave recipients feeling good about the communication.
- 🚫 Avoid using unnecessary filler words like "but" to maintain clarity and professionalism.
Do you have any tips for using email when you want a paper trail? Thanks😀
